31/08/2025: We chose this restaurant after reading a terrible review, which I personally would have responded to with great vehemence, and the owner's wise and completely agreeable response!!! We've never made a happier choice: the location, the courtesy of the staff, the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner, the quality of the food and the wine and beer selection, and, last but not least, the value for money. It's a typical restaurant not to be missed in L'Aquila.

25/08/2025: Ideal for a feast of arrosticini, goat, chicken, Angus beef, and liver, all very good. The restaurant also serves platters and bruschetta, which we haven't tried, but look interesting.

29/09/2025: A truly unique experience! The quality was unmatched, and I'm not boasting, but I've had the opportunity to try so many different types of sushi. My sincerest compliments: the place is small and well-kept, and the waitress is incredibly kind and helpful!

20/09/2025: Pierlugi and Eugenia prove themselves to be wonderful hosts. It's not their first time at Don Evandro, but it's their first with the new menu. A truly brilliant choice, in my opinion, where (like in the inns of old) they cook and serve what the season has to offer: let them create and trust them, they'll surprise you!

18/06/2025: Exquisite meal, excellent service, and classy ambience. We had the shorter tasting menu, and everything was perfect -- not a weak link in the chain. The couple who own and manage the restaurant are charming. To top it off, the restaurant plays warm and elegant classical and jazz music -- none of the dreadful Lofi or club music that ruins the ambience of so many otherwise nice restaurants. Will definitely return.

03/10/2025: It's a dream to have a snack there at lunch right on the beach, or just to chill out. Friendly service, good and affordable food, parking in front of the house on the street, certainly a bit different in midsummer than in the off-season. Update: Went there again today: simply beautiful: good food, great service, excellent value for money, fantastic view: a great lunch! Keep up the good work!

30/09/2025: We stopped in Teramo, and discovered it by chance. A genuine experience to try in a casual, no-frills setting: amazing first courses, homemade cuisine. We had spaghetti alla chitarra with meatballs, gnocchi alla boscaiola, fried cheese and cacio e ovo balls, and to finish, a sweet Teramo pizza. Generous portions and a very fair price. But what makes the experience unique is the friendliness of the staff. Recommended.

23/08/2025: I wasn't familiar with this restaurant, but I was so pleased! The restaurant is charming, nestled in the countryside just outside Rivisondoli. It's family-run, and everyone is truly kind and knowledgeable. I was struck by their passion for food, wine, local produce (they produce many things, including the wheat they personally harvest on the mountain visible from the restaurant), and for Abruzzo. The cuisine is different from typical Abruzzo cuisine because the chef, the owner's wife, is French. We ate an excellent fondue with 3-4 cheeses, a stuffed eggplant, a delicious roast beef, and an excellent venison. But what really blew me away were the four desserts we ordered, unique and truly amazing. The price was lower than we expected (€55 per person). There are only a few tables, so reservations are recommended!

22/09/2025: This restaurant is located just outside Lecce Dei Marsi, about ten minutes away, and offers amazing homemade cuisine. Traditional ravioli with fresh ricotta and spinach, homemade tagliatelle, and chitarrina pasta with a variety of sauces are also available. I recommend the excellent porcini mushrooms. The owner is welcoming and helpful.

12/09/2025: For me the best restaurant in Silvi! My absolute favorite. A long standing restaurant with high quality well priced food. Very professional and kind. If this restaurant ever closed I would cry.

28/08/2025: A pleasant discovery Nestled on the main street of the town next to the main church, it offers both indoor and outdoor seating The atmosphere is very peaceful even outside, making it a lovely summer evening to enjoy The first point of excellence is the service, very welcoming and knowledgeable. They were able to guide me in my choice, suggesting a dish that wasn't listed on the menu but which I greatly appreciated thanks to the sensitivity of the young woman who took my order Everything was delicious and beautifully presented, from appetizer to dessert The meat is the second point of excellence, flavors that we are forgetting in our cities The dessert is also excellent What can I say...it's addictive, I absolutely must return...

27/09/2025: I had lunch at this historic restaurant in the center of L'Aquila, and the experience was exceptional: the place is well-maintained and the atmosphere is perfect; you can immediately taste the attention paid to traditional Abruzzo dishes. For appetizers, I tried the bruschetta with summer truffle, the Aquilana coratella, and the fantastic cacio e ove (cheese and egg) meatballs. Everything was delicious, and the quality of the local ingredients was evident in every bite. Next came the first courses: tagliolini with white ragù and Montepulciano, and ravioli with buffalo ricotta and spinach and saffron cream. I finished with a saffron cream dessert, capping off the region's distinctive flavor. The entire meal was truly excellent. The value for money is excellent, considering the high quality of the food and the ambiance. A must-try for anyone seeking authentic L'Aquila cuisine.
