28/07/2025: It's with regret that I'm writing this review, but my experience at the Sirenetta restaurant in Pescara was disappointing and, unfortunately, also very disturbing. I ordered pasta with seafood and... I found a stone about 2 cm in diameter! It wasn't a shell or a fluke – it was a regular stone, as if it had come from the backyard. After this incident, everything lost its flavor, and instead of enjoying the meal, I began to wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen and what actually ended up on the plates. The staff's reaction? The waiter pulled the stone from my plate with two fingers while standing at the table and showed only surprise, as if it were no big deal. We weren't offered any compensation; honestly, I didn't feel like paying for the meal there anymore… On top of all this, the prices were inflated, which didn't reflect the quality of the food. Compared to truly excellent restaurants in Pescara, prices at Sirenetta are about 30% higher, and wine costs as much as 50% to 100% more than in more reputable establishments with significantly better service. Although the restaurant tries to present itself as a classy place – white tablecloths, waiters in bow ties – this is only a facade. Elegant appearance is not enough if the basics are lacking: attention to hygiene, respect for guests, and appropriate handling of emergencies. Unfortunately, Sirenetta is an example of a place where style doesn't match substance. Throughout the entire evening, the waiter never once approached us to pour our wine or ask if we would like to reorder water, which quickly ran out. The only positive is that dogs are allowed. I don't recommend it.

25/07/2025: Il bagnino e uno dei responsabili non hanno voluto farci giocare con la palla in riva al mare (zona pubblica). Il responsabile ci ha mostrato l' ordinanza sostenendo che questa provasse la sua opinione, contrariamente a quanto voleva dimostrare l'ordinanza non dice niente del genere. Una volta confrontatomi con il responsabile questo ha sostenuto che l'ordinanza gli desse ragione e ha intimato di voler chiamare la guardia costiera, al che ho deciso io di chiamare la guardia costiera per chiedere una conferma, la quale è arrivata immediatamente smentendo la versione del bagnino e del responsabile. Così dopo, aver lui stesso contatto la guardia costiera e aver confermato quanto essi avevano detto a me, ha deciso di cacciarci dicendo che lui comunque non ci avrebbe fatto giocare in riva al mare (zona pubblica) e che l unica condizione per giocare sarebbe stata comunque quella di sottostare alle sue regole invece che a quelle dettate dalla ordinanza regionale e confermateci via telefonica dall' impiegato della guardia costiera. Il tutto è successo con un fare di supponenza e superiorità assolutamente ingiustificato.

31/07/2025: Como un visitante regular IT o a San Salvo a menudo había escuchado Al Metro muy elogiado por los lugareños, por lo que fue con gran anticipación que cenamos allí. ¡NO decepcioné! Escondido en el área del puerto deportivo, usted es transportado inmediatamente a una obra de diseño minimalista elegante, sentado debajo de un espeso dosel de vides, inmediatamente es consciente de que está a punto de ser tratado con algo muy especial. NO hay duda de que en contraste con el diseño del restaurante, la comida será la que hable, la comida será la estrella del espectáculo. Nos pusimos en manos de los expertos y ellos cumplieron. Cocina innovadora y emocionante, utilizando ingredientes frescos y de origen local se colocaron delicadamente frente a nosotros. Cada curso se convirtió en un tema de discusión y conversación. Lo más destacado para mí fueron los chefs se enfrentan a vongole y el helado de ensalada. Debo mencionar los palitos de pan cuidadosamente hechos que no podía dejar de comer. Este restaurante de gestión familiar es acogedor y emocionante, Antonio y su esposa eran acogedores y muy serviciales. Una necesidad absoluta.

16/07/2025: Mediocre l'accoglienza, mediocre la location e, soprattutto, mediocre il cibo per lo meno per quel che ho potuto provare nel "menù contemporaneo" proposto come percorso. Eccesso di formalismo in sala e un po' di spocchia di troppo. Per me la stella è davvero inspiegabile.

23/08/2025: We were greeted with enthusiasm at this place. The beach attendant (Manu) was very kind and helpful, so much so that he let us use his cabin to store our bags, which we didn't know where to put. We also stopped for lunch, having two thin but tasty pizzas and a very good and filling linguine with clams. The service was quite slow, but otherwise everything was fine!

21/08/2025: So we had a pizza diavola and scampi alla catalana as antipasto. The price is very affordable. The taste is quite good and the service friendly and quick. The only thing is they only have one gender neutral toilet for the whole restaurant…

17/08/2025: Unreasonable prices, poor quality. Aperitif: peanuts, olives, and chips (old), sour arancini, €22, crazy! Not to mention the rest: three gluten-free beers for €0.33 each for €23. That's basically what I paid for a fish dinner with €45! I don't recommend it, we won't be back! What a shame.

20/08/2025: It's one of the best pizzerias in the area. We've been going there for years and have never been disappointed. The quality and price are excellent.

14/08/2025: The place is quiet and welcoming; the menu is quite varied, and many dishes are also available in gluten-free versions (I especially recommend the pizzas and fried foods, which are excellent for both the quality of the ingredients and the texture and flavor). Highly recommended!

24/08/2025: It's a shame you can't give half a star. RUN away from this place. €130 for 7 people for a simple appetizer!! We arrived on time for our reservation, but were left alone at the table with two small children. Two hours later, besides the appetizer (which arrived in installments, was cold, and wasn't even portioned for the number of diners), we hadn't seen a single pizza. We brought the problem to the owners' attention, and they said, "Well, the appetizer has arrived, so what are you complaining about?" Then, while we were at the cashier, they tried to sell us pizzas that were half raw and half burned. We left after a pitiful argument with the owner, who insisted he was right. Terrible service, equally terrible food. The atmosphere was run-down and dated. We were regulars, a regular stop every time we came from Rome. Even the last two times, the quality of the food and service had dropped, but never to this level. We will NEVER return.

23/08/2025: If you're looking for a quick lunch inside the Ipercoop, choose La Conca. It's the least flashy but the tastiest.

20/08/2025: The restaurant is in a very nice location overlooking the Vasto viewpoint, but the food was nothing special. Mediocre ravioli, and scampi pasta tasted like it was not fresh. Avoid.

The location is perfect, easy to reach even for those coming from outside. Ideal for those looking for a quiet place but well served. See you soon!

23/07/2025: Siamo arrivati in un orario tradivo, lo ammetto, (ca. 21.00) nonostante ció il personale ci ha fatto accomodare ugualmente. Dato l'orario si è optati per dei fritti e dei contorni "veloci": Hamburger e patatine, di cui carne ok e patatine indietro di cottura. Olive all'ascolana e cremini che per essere fritti erano accettabili. Una pizza rettangolare a cui il sale salutava dalla cucina, Souté di cozze (assolutamente senza sapore) e l'antipasto Brigantino che era veramente l'unica cosa apprezzabile. Per una soluzione estrema in tempi tardivi per problemi nostri, beh la serata é terminata a tavola. Siamo rimasti veramente basiti.
