15/11/2025: A tiny place like a treasure chest hiding a treasure!! I'm not talking about Michelin stars... I'm talking about good food at a fair price!! Everything was good, the staff were very kind, and the place was very cute with a lovely fire in the fireplace for cooking delicious meat and arrosticini!! We'll definitely be back!!

07/12/2025: Osteria Centolire proved to be profoundly deceptive. The poster promised a lunch show with music, a DJ, and vocalists, but it turned out to be a complete illusion. The owner, completely unaware of the event, continued to tease customers with vague answers, claiming that the DJs might arrive later. The waiters, too, from start to finish, continued to claim they knew nothing, passing the buck and justifying themselves with excuses like "I have to ask the owner" or "I have to go get the dishes from the kitchen," without ever deigning to pay us any attention. The food and the bill were also completely average, without any noteworthy quality. I strongly advise against Osteria Centolire and urge future customers not to trust their misleading posters.

07/12/2025: The place is chaotic, cramped, and poorly lit. If you're looking for a relaxing evening... well... this place isn't for you. Not recommended for celiacs or those with intolerances: no attention, they don't care. Tiny slices of bread on the table (both those eating and those watching) will make you wait up to half an hour just to bring you a bottle of sparkling water. The pizza is bland, and when they finally bring it, it's still cold. Be warned: the road to the place is dark, dangerous, especially at night, and unmarked. If you don't know the way, don't venture there. If you don't believe me... try it. Good luck!

14/10/2025: It's one of the few pubs in Vasto that has retained its authenticity and quality, traditional, and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is satisfying and the quality/price ratio is excellent.

04/12/2025: A family-run restaurant run by the talented Genny, who always offers excellent advice. The spaghetti with clams is fabulous, as are the seafood gnocchi, the fish soup, and the calamari stewed with chili pepper. Excellent value for money.

12/10/2025: The place is terrible, the food is even worse, poor quality and very low quality, two hot and cold starters and a second course for two cost 70 euros, we didn't eat almost anything because it wasn't good and we paid a lot despite the few courses, shameful.

12/10/2025: I'm sorry to give it only three stars because, overall, we ate well. The pizza was good, the prices were reasonable, and the location was very nice. However, the service definitely needs improvement, because things can't continue like this... I'll point out that I'm not criticizing any of the waiters, who were all very kind, but rather the organization of the place itself. It took us a good 37 minutes to take our order, and from the time we arrived (8:40 PM) to the time we ate our pizza and main courses (10:25 PM) almost two hours passed... it wasn't even a Saturday night; it was crowded, but not particularly busy. I highly recommend improving this aspect, which ruined the overall experience, because we had to stand out to order because no one was paying attention.

11/10/2025: For those who have known them for at least six years, like me, it's sad to see the decline in the quality of their signature dish: arrosticini. They don't taste like anything anymore, not even the liver ones. They've certainly become a good restaurant for pizzas and side dishes, but the worst at arrosticini. Out of 15 we ordered, we left 7. What a shame.

31/10/2025: My review, although not positive, isn't meant to be a disparagement of this historic business, but rather food for thought. I arrived this morning around 10:00 a.m., and after browsing the dessert display, I paid a kind and smiling young man at the register for a maritozzo with cream and a cappuccino. I headed to the counter and asked for the cappuccino and the maritozzo. There were no other customers at the counter, but orders were coming in for tables. I was served my cappuccino, and the barista asked first her colleague and then her colleague for my maritozzo. I was almost finished with my cappuccino, but there was no sign of the maritozzo. Not having much time and wanting to have breakfast with both a drink and a dessert at the same time, I went to get one myself from the lady at the dessert counter. By the time I got back to the counter, my half-cappuccino had been thrown away. It can happen, but my thought is... 1) I was walking with a stroller in tow, and from the counter I could see it was headed towards the dessert counter... 2) If you haven't served me the maritozzo yet, why do you think I've left? 3) What do you mean, I'll do it again with a smile? Instead, both baristas looked at me with great annoyance, as if I were the one to blame, prompting me to grab my maritozzo and leave, eating it on the street. 4) If it's so complicated to get dessert brought to the counter, why didn't the person at the cashier tell me to go to the dessert display first? I'll conclude by saying that better organization would make this historic place more attractive to us customers, given that it has so many good reasons. This morning I chose it over the other bars because it had a very convenient entrance for a stroller, for example. I also want to point out that both the cappuccino and the maritozzo were excellent and more than fair priced... but sometimes you get lost in a little, and if you don't, it's difficult to return to a place.

09/12/2025: Very varied and very good pokè, I went on a Sunday evening, not crowded at all!

03/12/2025: Knowing the takeout sushi place, which we've ordered a few times, we decided to stop for lunch to try the famous, much-hyped Japanese ramen. While waiting, we ordered two tacos and a gyoza. Finally, after over an hour of waiting, the tacos arrived, but not the gyoza, with the excuse that they were frozen. The ramen followed, which was decent but, in my opinion, nothing exceptional, something you wouldn't find elsewhere. It was a forgettable experience, a shame because the place is cozy, but with the place almost empty, the wait was truly interminable and unjustified. We definitely won't be back!

18/10/2025: One Sunday, I followed my partner for work to the center of Piacenza. After training, we decided to stop at this place, just a few meters from the Piazza dei Cavalli in Piacenza. Well, what a treat! What a wonderful lunch! I ordered a schiacciata with sausage and broccoli rabe. I've never tasted anything better or tastier (a pizza, but much softer and more interesting, it was almost too easy to eat!). My wonderful partner ordered a piadina with prosciutto and cheese. It was very pleasant, not dried out from overcooking. The ingredients were high-quality and excellent. And we also had two drinks. Sitting under an ancient portico overlooking the square, on a September day reminiscent of June. (Beautiful and relaxing), in this place I felt like I was transported back in time for a moment and managed to unwind. The staff is very polite and courteous. I recommend you visit and stop for lunch, dinner, or an aperitif. You won't regret it. I can't wait to go back for the schiacciata... You've enchanted me there... I forgot about the price. Go and see. You won't believe your eyes. We spent just over 10 euros each.
