30/09/2025: Beautiful homely place, with home cooked freshly made food. Lady serving us was very friendly and explained the menu to us in English as we don't talk in Italian. Food was delicious!!! Would definitely come back!

19/10/2025: Maximum stars aren't enough to describe our stay at Duca degli Abruzzi. It was unforgettable, welcoming, familiar, warm... especially thanks to Assunta and her mother Gabriella, tireless and always so kind! 22/09/2025: Pleasant and clean rooms. The hotel is located at the intersection of many hiking trails, making it an excellent base for walks. The staff is friendly and actively works to make your stay enjoyable.

29/09/2025: This time around, I'm in Avezzano for work. I was looking for a restaurant near the hotel where I'm staying and I came across Hong Yun, which I must say, I was very impressed. The restaurant doesn't offer an all-you-can-eat menu, but the quality and size of the portions are really good. Luckily, I ordered the right amount of food, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to eat it all. The grilled ravioli are among the largest I've ever eaten, and the salad with tuna, avocado, mango, wakame, and salmon is very substantial. Of course, I'm attaching the photos I took so you can get an idea. If you're in the Avezzano area and you like sushi, Chinese, or Thai cuisine, I recommend stopping by Hong Yun. 👍🏻😋🥟🍜🍣

29/09/2025: This restaurant is simply unbeatable! Every dish we tried was delicious and of excellent quality, with authentic and well-balanced flavors. The care taken in preparing the food is evident in every bite, from appetizers to main courses. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is courteous, making the experience truly enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who loves quality Chinese cuisine!

11/10/2025: Sublime, warm and welcoming, friendly wait staff, quality food, it was a wonderful discovery. We were lucky to find a table, but from what I understand, you need to book well in advance. Recommended.

17/09/2025: I've never seen such inadequate communication! Reservations are practically impossible, the opening days shown on Google are incorrect compared to reality, and if you do find yourself on the opening day, the restaurant's response times will be wrong! In short, you'll find yourself listening to a record you haven't even prepared well... all of which reflects the owners' lack of entrepreneurial ability.

07/11/2025: Rossella keeps her promise! I've been wanting to try this restaurant in Tufo, near Carsoli, for at least two years. It's changed the face of Abruzzo's restaurant scene. Despite being open for several years, I only recently heard about it, and every time I called, there were no seats. For a while, they managed to keep it a "secret," but then, little by little, word spread, and word of mouth spread the word about these immense, outsized, and exceptional ravioli. We managed to get there on a Monday in October for lunch, and in addition to the famous ravioli, we also tried a fresh pasta dish with porcini mushrooms and truffles, the memory of which still delights me. The French fries are REAL, enough to light a candle to the Madonna. The service is prompt; sure, you might have to wait a bit, but the wait is worth it. The prices are more than fair, and that's a bonus! My only complaint, a matter of personal preference, is that the tomato sauce is a bit too smooth; I prefer a more rustic, full-bodied texture. However, this in no way detracts from the satisfaction of eating at Rossella's. Lunch also included the spectacle of watching the food being eaten at the tables around us. Good heavens, I've rarely seen people manage to gorge on such quantities of food. It felt like we were back in the fabulous '70s. My compliments to this wonderful business, carried out with passion and undoubtedly a lot of hard work! Thank you

06/11/2025: Excellent home cooking, just the way I like it. Be careful when ordering the ravioli, because one portion can feed three people. 😂😂😂 I'm not exaggerating. The ingredients are excellent.

Which remains the most difficult to imitate. Shared, yes, but never bent by anyone. I've wanted to write about this place for years. Yes, I'd been there before, but never in the intimacy of a time just for me. A place where you can enjoy good food, good wine, but also that welcoming hospitality, sacred in the homes of the Abruzzese, yes, but even more so in the homes of the Marsicans (may no one hold this against me). In every dish, the care of the expert hands of experience. In every course, the attention of a host who offers the embrace of the friend you always wish would welcome you back home. In the service, the speed and friendliness of those who express gratitude for your choice. The Locanda Madonna delle Vigne tells the essence of the Abruzzo hinterland. It represents everything we take pride in. Making today's lunch even more special is the company of young friends. From whom we can absorb energy and positivity. 05/10/2025: A welcoming, family-run restaurant just steps from the Castle, offering excellent homemade food. The owner is incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, serving and describing his dishes with passion and energy. Each dish has a story and a reason for being there, and we were treated to a meticulous service throughout the meal, as were the other diners at the tables. Delicious food in a delightful atmosphere. We will definitely be back, and we sincerely thank the owner for the welcome and unexpected gift of a lovely bottle of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, which we will drink to his health! Highly recommended, and see you soon!

04/10/2025: I booked online the first time, and they were kind enough to send me a cancellation email and call me back personally since they were closed for lunch. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean, with qualified and friendly staff. The food is plentiful, with delicious first courses and the tagliata (beef steak) is incredibly tender. Everything is in line with the more than fair prices. I highly recommend it.

18/10/2025: We had lunch here after visiting the Stiffe Caves. The food was excellent (both appetizers and main courses), but I also want to emphasize the kindness of the service, and more! The waiter even followed us out to give us something we'd forgotten! I highly recommend it!

05/09/2025: Returning from a hike in the Maiella National Park, we stopped at this beautiful little spot nestled in the park's hills. We were so happy we even returned the next evening for dinner, even though our accommodation is an hour away from the inn! Stefano, the owner, puts his heart and soul into his work, and his strong connection to the area is evident. The service was attentive, professional, and anything but predictable; we truly felt at home! The food was delicious, with traditional Abruzzo dishes and modern reinterpretations of classics. The wine list was also good! 5 stars aren't enough to describe this experience! The desserts were excellent, too. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area; the prices are in line with the quality and service, and even children are made to feel important here. We haven't tried the rooms, but if we have the opportunity, we'll definitely consider staying there! Congratulations again to all the staff, and see you next time!

31/08/2025: We stayed for our anniversary. The room was cozy, clean, and tidy with a stunning mountain view. The exterior was well-maintained and clean. The restaurant served excellent traditional food and wine. The family-run hotel is incredibly friendly. We recommend it to anyone looking for tranquility and good food. We'll be back.

05/11/2025: We went for the first time as a family, recommended by friends, I would gladly return. The food was excellent!! The mistake we made was ordering the cold and hot appetizers 🤦🏻, it was so much, after which they brought two huge plates of first courses, we couldn't eat anymore, the ravioli were delicious!! Regardless, we went for the arrosticini... but unfortunately we didn't order even one🤣 Next time we'll start with the arrosticini and THEN I'll see if anything else is up. Clean bathrooms and nothing is missing. The €3 cover charge is very fair because you get olive oil and parmesan, the tablecloths are beautiful and of excellent quality. Service was quite fast despite the place being busy on a Sunday, the owner was kind and friendly.

26/10/2025: Authentic Abruzzo cuisine and a breathtaking view of the Voltigno, just a 5-minute drive away. Ravioli with tomato sauce that's definitely in my top 3 (try it to believe it's homemade) and fabulous, locally sourced lamb. It's pointless to praise the arrosticini, since we're back home. A perfect dessert selection to sample everything and end your Abruzzo experience on a high note.
