17/08/2025: Very kind staff, comfortable room, water available, slippers, bathroom products, air conditioning (be careful, all windows must be closed otherwise it jams), very good buffet breakfast, nice swimming pool (even if we didn't use it), parking....!!!
01/08/2025: Absolutely loved my stay here in Atessa! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious every morning, and the rooms were spotless and beautifully kept. Would definitely come back! Thank you so much for beautiful expirenece

18/08/2025: My wife and I had lunch at this trattoria, and I'm sorry to say the experience wasn't a positive one.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the veranda overlooking the sea (if you book in advance) is definitely a plus. However, otherwise, our dining experience was disappointing.
The wait was excessive: over an hour and twenty minutes for just two cold appetizers and two first courses.
The appetizers consisted of a seafood salad and cuttlefish with crunchy vegetables. The seafood salad was actually composed almost exclusively of finely chopped cuttlefish, with very little shellfish, and dressed simply with parsley and olive oil. The cuttlefish with crunchy vegetables, on the other hand, consisted of a few julienned zucchini and carrots: a dish lacking in character and understated.
The first courses were the most disappointing. The linguine marinara was well-seasoned, but the sauce was limited to clams (probably preserved) and chopped shellfish, lacking any real seafood flavor, replaced by a strong taste of oil (albeit good quality). The maltagliati with scampi sauce, the dish of the day, was excessively oily, more like a fish soup than a pasta dish. The whole scampi served on the plate made cleanup difficult: we weren't provided with a dish for the shells or a wet wipe for our hands, making the whole thing awkward and untidy.
The final bill was around €70, which we felt was excessive considering the quality of the dishes.
In summary:
Pros: Friendly staff and a veranda with a sea view.
Cons: Poorly prepared dishes, long wait, service not up to par with the dishes.
Unfortunately, we don't plan on returning.
02/08/2025: We went to this restaurant for lunch, 2 adults and 2 children. The prices were crazy for the quality of the food. A bottle of Coke at room temperature, because it just arrived, cost €4, pure madness. Zita with tomatoes and scampi (3g of peeled scampi and all pasta) was a modest €18. Linguine alla marinara (clams, calami, and 1 scampi) €18... all pasta!! We'll never go back!
Tourism is running away!!

11/09/2025: All the trabocchi only offer set menus. €60/70/80 per person. Appetizer, first course, second course, dessert.
I was with my nephew, a teenager who eats very little. I couldn't go. I was very disappointed.
But are we sure this is the right way to do it?
I didn't like it.

Every time you come to this restaurant, you have a unique experience that stays with you for a long time.
Chef Romito remains the number one in the Italian culinary scene.
When you leave the restaurant, you already want to try it again as soon as possible...
08/09/2025: I'd like to describe in words what I perceived and received from this place, and from the food, of course, which releases a strong and wonderful energy.
What truly amazed me was the coherent union between the environment and the food, which fully captures the meaning of the word "well-being."
The white, the emptiness, the space of the place allows you to appreciate the elements, gives you the time and attention to notice the beauty, just as on a plate you can clearly distinguish the food that stands out and take the time to fully savor the wonderful flavors and be amazed.
Refinement, Elegance, Time, Details, Care, Inspiration, Beauty, Magic, Fragrances, Wonder, HAPPINESS.
I'm posting photos of the dishes that most impressed me: the breadsticks, the mixed salad, the zucchini, the transformation of the fig leaves, the sage, the pepper absolute!
A place to return to! I don't want to define it as an "experience" as something to do once and never again, just to try it.
An intense and relaxing moment in which to abandon yourself with trust, a practice we can repeat to satisfy our spoiled... and beloved inner child!

23/08/2025: Not easy to get to if you're not local, but luckily we have GPS today! Anyway, you get real home-cooked food without the frills... Awesome!

06/09/2025: An incredible discovery. Always try to book by phone because the place isn't very large, then when you arrive, trust Franchino. He'll usually offer you a large selection of appetizers, starting with tonnarelli with guanciale and herb buonerrico, and then you'll see if there's still room... Local aromas and flavors will accompany the meal. Franchino's friendliness will stay with you. I'll gladly return.

14/09/2025: Beautiful property just 3 minutes from the center of Celano. We've used it several times as a starting point for hikes. Private indoor parking. Spacious, clean rooms with air conditioning and refrigerator. Breakfast starts at 8:00, but for those like us with different needs, you can make your own earlier with products (jams, Nutella, yogurt, milk, tea, coffee maker, and tart) left available. The owner is very kind and also gave us suggestions for restaurants and hikes.
31/08/2025: Excellent, welcoming, and quiet place. Efficient service and helpfulness. I recommend it to everyone.

21/08/2025: Excellent restaurant, probably one of the best in the area. The dishes are high-quality (though I would have expected larger portions, especially the pasta dishes). The view from the terrace is absolutely enchanting. However, honestly, looking at menus from a few years ago, I'd say the variety of dishes has diminished and the prices have gone up significantly. If I were to return to the area with my family, I'd opt for other restaurants with more choice and a more affordable quality/price ratio.
20/08/2025: My girlfriend and I went for lunch on August 16th. We chose the €50 menu, which included a starter of your choice, all the appetizers on the menu, a sampling of two first courses each, a second course of your choice, and a dessert of your choice. In addition to dessert, they also brought a ratafia with a sampling of cantucci and crostata. The price included a bottle of wine, water, bread, and a service charge. For two, we paid €100 and left practically rolling full and satisfied. The service was very friendly, and the owner was a wonderful and kind person.

04/09/2025: Here the truffle is at home and I ate divinely every dish was excellent I highly recommend it from the Ravioli with stracciata and truffles to the Chitarrina with pecorino and pancetta also excellent the scamorza and truffle fondue and to finish the homemade desserts.

24/08/2025: If there were more than 5 stars, I would definitely have given them. The place was welcoming and clean, from the location to the service of the girls in the dining room and the owner who came to make sure everything was fine. The food was amazing, from appetizers to dessert, and the first courses were worthy of the restaurant's name. In short, TOP TOP TOP. We'll definitely be back.
22/08/2025: This restaurant is well above the best standards on the plateau and, personally, a favorite even compared to other highly regarded Roman restaurants. We've been here several times now, and the excellent memories always live up to expectations: exquisite dishes (especially the duck breast and licorice chitarrina) and friendly, welcoming service.
Reservations are recommended during high season!
