14/03/2026: Excellent experience, very good food, even with unique variations if you're looking for an alternative to classic pizzas. The service was very fast, organized, and very friendly; it was a pleasure. P.S. Giovanna was excellent and very kind, she made us feel at home.

05/03/2026: Osteria near Abruzzo Airport. We ordered burgers and pizzas to say goodbye to Italy. The pizza was delicious. The waiter was very attentive and friendly.

21/05/2026: Quick lunch. A first course each and a bottle of water cost €30. The ravioli were good, but the mezze maniche definitely needs a rethink.

04/05/2026: My partner and I had an experience on the evening of May 2nd. Unique location, good and friendly service, very good food. I recommend it to anyone, like us, who is visiting this beautiful coast for the first time. Contrary to the rumors of locals who aren't particularly fond of this type of restaurant, in my opinion the quality of the food is good, as are the preparation and pairings. The fixed menu includes several courses plus water, cover charge, and a bottle of wine, so you have to trust the chef and let yourself be guided along the journey. Excellent experience. I recommend it.

30/04/2026: A rustic and welcoming place, in true pub style, with outdoor seating coming soon, L'Aquila temperatures permitting. I always recommend booking; you can do so online using the various links on their pages. Service is quite prompt, and the friendly, smiling staff are always a plus. Prices are fair for the quality they offer; they're certainly not cheap, but not as high as other reviews have indicated. Don't miss Villa Celiera's handmade skewers of meat or liver, accompanied by a delicious crispy focaccia (they don't have bread), which you can request. I've tried a couple of beers from their brewery and will definitely try the others.

As a frequent visitor to Campo Imperatore, having read both the positive, starred reviews of this trattoria and the menu featuring some local dishes, I decided to go there for lunch. A small, somewhat neglected, family-run trattoria. Basically, there's a menu, but it's not respected. The owner verbally lists the dishes and always tries to get you to choose what he wants, without listing the price. The appetizer, which they "prepare in series," almost forces you to order, was "nothing special." I had an appetizer, first course, and second course. The first course was very good, but the appetizer and second course were disappointing. The second course was a nice steak, but very tough and poorly cooked. Strangely, the receipt isn't itemized, but only lists the total. Leaving a trattoria dissatisfied in Abruzzo is rare.
