16/02/2026: The experience was definitely not up to par with a 4-star hotel. We were assigned what was advertised as the best room, but it was very small and poorly maintained: numerous stains and scuff marks on the walls, dirty curtains, and a toilet with stains visible upon arrival. The bathroom, in general, also showed obvious signs of age. The rooms are so close together that it's difficult to enter and exit simultaneously if the guest in the next room also opens the door. The lighting is very dim, and the remote control for the lights didn't work. Furthermore, the TV remote was also broken, another sign of poor attention to detail. The windows don't close properly and don't provide adequate insulation, allowing cold air to enter. The rooms are also poorly soundproofed, with constant noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms. The minibar contained only two bottles of water. The power outlet was on the bed instead of the nightstand: I had to leave my phone charging in the bathroom overnight so it wouldn't be practically over my head. The parquet floor was badly scratched and visibly dirty. The bedding was absolutely subpar: just a damask bedspread, with no duvet or proper blanket, despite the cold. The hotel meets 2-3 star standards at best, with a disappointing quality-to-price ratio. I wouldn't recommend it. The only real positive: the staff, truly kind, friendly, and helpful. And the hotel cat: Leo!

16/11/2025: A truly lovely place for dinner with friends... the pinsa is truly excellent... with Fiordilatte mozzarella, tomato, prosciutto, buffalo mozzarella from Campania, and oregano... but you can also choose bruschetta with the same ingredients, or a more classic version, or cicchetti (mini bruschettas) that are a bit more elaborate and unique.

17/08/2025: On the way back from the south. A lovely restaurant, plenty of space, and a rustic atmosphere. The food was generously portioned, including the ham and cheese toasties. It's worth a stop.

11/01/2026: The food is quite good, with average ingredients... but it's really expensive! A cover charge of €2.80 is crazy for a place like this, considering what was offered. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it for the quality/price ratio.

09/01/2026: Christmas lunch was superb again this year: excellent dishes, generous portions from appetizers to first courses, exquisite meats, and... last but not least, they served us four types of desserts 😋, which were much appreciated. All in a beautiful atmosphere. Kudos to the courtesy and kindness of all the staff.

11/11/2025: The bar is meticulously maintained, and the atmosphere is truly pleasant. The staff is young and courteous, though still a bit inexperienced in my opinion. There were four of us, and we ordered simple drinks, plus a cocktail. An explanation of the ingredients would have been helpful, especially considering possible intolerances or allergies. The same goes for the cicchetti: they were good, but they weren't described to us, and one person in our group doesn't eat cheese, so a little more attention would have avoided any inconveniences. Despite this, I'm sure I'll be back: the quality is good, the prices are average for the area, and overall we had a great time. The place was packed, a sign that it's well-attended and a great place. I just hope the service gets a little better, because it has great potential and the bar truly deserves it.

02/10/2025: We went on the day of the free fair, so the menu options were a bit limited. However, we ordered the cod with polenta, and it was an excellent choice. The atmosphere is lovely, with outdoor seating available, the staff are young and friendly, and the prices are reasonable, definitely lower than in the historic center.

19/02/2026: A very charming and welcoming place. Extremely tasty pizza. We were interested in visiting a real Italian pizzeria, not a tourist attraction. I think we made the right choice. The evening was unforgettable. Thanks to the hosts.

02/01/2026: The experience at Salernitana met my expectations. It's definitely better than the current average of 4.3 stars. In my opinion, it's the best pizza in the central Bassano area, although perhaps not the most convenient if you want to walk from the center. The pizza isn't the classic bell-shaped pizza with a thick crust, which isn't a criticism or a negative. The dough and ingredients are good quality, and the pizza chef is certainly experienced in the pizza business. I found the atmosphere to be rustic, in a bubble with an '80s vibe. The service is good and fast, although waiting times can be a bit longer at peak times. The only small complaint is the prices, which are slightly higher given the setting. I appreciated that they still have tablecloths; it's one of the few pizzerias in the Bassano area that still uses them. Overall, a great place to enjoy pizza in a relaxed atmosphere.

30/01/2026: Conference hotel on the outskirts of Vicenza. Comfortable, the only drawback is the excessive heat in the rooms.

03/01/2026: The room was clean and the hotel as a whole was well-maintained. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the lady at the breakfast buffet who was responsible for the omelets was rude to me and ignored my order, even though I waited. Only after I asked again did a very professional colleague bring the omelet promptly.

16/12/2025: While out walking with my aunts, we happened to stumble upon Pasticceria Dolci Ore, and what a wonderful discovery it was. My non-Italian-speaking aunts ordered pastries and hot drinks for a sit-down breakfast, and everything was absolutely delightful. The premises were exceptionally clean, well organised, and clearly very popular with locals, which is always a great sign. After breakfast, I asked the very helpful lady behind the counter whether I could buy two packs of four mini jars of jam of my own choosing. To my delight, she said yes — and not only that, she packaged them beautifully, which was perfect as I intend to give them as gifts to my elderly neighbors. She then patiently helped my aunts, who were confused and confusing in equal measure, all the while apologizing for her English (which was actually very good!). For the record, I understood the language my aunts were speaking — just not what they were asking. Finally, she kindly advised me on choosing a panettone as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend's parents, as we celebrated our first Christmas together. All of this took place while the bakery remained busy with a steady flow of customers coming and going. Immaculately clean premises, excellent pastries, and truly exceptional service. 13/11/2025: The gnocchi are very good! I tried them with classic ragù, and they were amazing! There's only a few seats, and the place is small and clean. The outside doesn't reflect what's inside, so don't be fooled by first impressions; step inside and enjoy your meal!

13/01/2026: I've been a Burger King fan for years, but I have to admit that the service has really gotten worse recently, especially the CLEANLINESS. I don't know how they can operate in these conditions, especially with HACCP regulations. I won't be returning to this location, but I highly recommend the ones in Torri di Quartesolo or Costabissara!
