24/11/2025: Oh, please, don't call it a pub. This place is a real restaurant in every sense of the word.
Located in Piazza Castello in Marostica, the main square of this famous town, where every two years a live chess game takes place. Here you can find traditional Venetian dishes with a modern twist.
The Vicenza-style cod with polenta was delicious.
Tasty dishes, generous portions, quick service, and fair prices are typical.
Truly very good.
18/10/2025: Fantastic second course, sliced Iberian beef with vegetables, they also have 0% alcohol, excellent location, in front of the chess square. Friendly staff.

10/11/2025: The gnocchi were decent, but I should mention the sauces brought separately in large quantities, which I doubt would be thrown away once they're collected. Having seen people at other tables mopping up the gnocchi with bread, I'm not going to go back for more. The baked potatoes tasted like a mixture of boiled potatoes and mashed potatoes. The desserts were excellent.
05/11/2025: A restaurant with home cooking,
with excellent food, delicious gnocchi with four different sauces: amatriciana, meat, tomato, and butter and sage. The desserts are also very good, including amaretto tiramisu. The service is excellent, they make you feel at home. I highly recommend it!

30/11/2025: I review but I don't read reviews, in fact, I went to this place by chance.
Clean, a varied menu.
Food: tagliata, Gragnano paccheri, scampi, pompodorini tomatoes, and basil.
The waiter didn't ask how we wanted the tagliata, no big deal, we told him, rare, and in fact it arrived well done.
Meat: it wasn't a beef sirloin. It wasn't great.
Pasta: overcooked (what a shame, Gragnano pasta isn't cooked well, not al dente) floating in two inches of sauce.
The response: we're a tourist place, you should have asked if you wanted it al dente.

P.S.: The excuse often used is that tourists don't eat pasta any other way. That's absolutely not true. Pizza isn't made raw, pasta is cooked well, cooking isn't an opinion.
16/11/2025: A truly satisfying lunch! Polenta with Asiago cheese and mushrooms, bigoli with duck ragù and Vicenza-style cod, Venetian-style liver. Everything was delicious! Very friendly and punctual service. A truly worthy spot in the center of Vicenza.

06/07/2025: Una piacevole sorpresa. Un ambiente famigliare molto curato e i gestori molto accoglienti e disponibili. Il cibo è stato ottimo e abbiamo percepito una grande passione nella cucina e attenzione alla qualità dei prodotti. Torneremo sicuramente.

11/08/2025: Raw fish is not something to joke about. Anyone can make a mistake, but the first thing to do is chill the fish. I don't want to be harsh, but be careful, especially in the summer. If you don't have the right staff, replace them, because you shouldn't joke about your health. Raw fish should be served cold, and the dish arrived hot. Thanks for the discount, but it's not enough.
27/07/2025: We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. We were out on our motorcycles and stopped in spontaneously. Incredibly delicious food, superb quality, and even more friendly service. The tuna was divine, as was all the other food we had. We'd love to come back.

23/10/2025: The restaurant was very well-liked, but the service was a bit slow. The rooms were clean and had everything you needed, and the location was quiet.
10/09/2025: So, for a ** hotel, it's very clean. The price is reasonable. Breakfast is fresh, but there's a bit limited selection, or you have to pay extra.
It can get a bit noisy from the street at night. Otherwise, everything's top notch.

05/11/2025: Worst sushi I've ever had. The rice was overcooked and rubbery, not much choice, and the atmosphere was cold. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.
29/10/2025: Not much of a selection of sushi, and the quality wasn't the best. The staff was friendly, and the place was cozy. The seats were a bit narrow, so it's best to ask for a sofa.

04/12/2025: We went for a birthday and did the pizza rotation menu.
The pizza was good, the service was good, and the place was clean. I'm not giving it 5 stars because I was really disappointed that after we ate, some pizza was left over, and I and others wanted to take it home, but they didn't let us, saying it would be thrown away because it was taken from the pizza rotation menu. It seems wasteful and indecent to me. And anyway, I think you can tell when someone is taking advantage, not when there are 20 people eating, where there's bound to be some pizza left over.
Once the waste problem is solved, I think you'll get 5 stars.
29/11/2025: Special thanks to Queen Giusy, who brought us pizza with fries during the pizza round after numerous requests that had not been met by the other waiters.

Osteria al Rosmarino

05/12/2025: We stopped for a simple aperitif and left after three hours, sampling some excellent gnocchi (made strictly with Rotzo potatoes) and a bruschetta that would be an understatement. A true mountain "osteria," expertly run by Bruno and his father Rino, both highly professional and friendly hosts. Well done! We'll be back soon.
22/11/2025: Excellent place with friendly and helpful staff. The bruschetta is top notch! Definitely worth trying and returning!
