27/06/2025: We had been wanting to try this pizzeria for a long time and it didn't disappoint! The pizza is really good, the owners are very kind, we had a great time. It feels like eating with family. The pizzas are few but have quality ingredients, as they say "few but good" actually very good! We will definitely go back again.

06/07/2025: Beautiful and special place full of memorabilia of the owner, Apo Ambrosi. Excellent food and kind and attentive service. Fair prices considering the very central location of the Marostica square. And then as Romans we appreciated the presence of references to Magical Rome

05/07/2025: We had been missing for 2 years, and in fact we were surprised to no longer see the pizza oven that has given way to a grill. No more pizzas, therefore, but the excellent Roman specialties (carbonara, gricia, cacio e pepe) and excellent meat options. The desserts on the menu, all homemade, very good and refined. The shift of the place towards gourmet options is very appropriate. Well done always to the host of the place, Apo, who always watches over and entertains in his place and a round of applause to the excellent staff. We always return with pleasure to Marostica in this place overlooking the beautiful Piazza degli Scacchi.

01/06/2025: Truly exceptional ice cream, among the best you can find in Bassano! Last night I stopped by and was greeted by two very kind girls: one with reddish hair and one with brown hair. They welcomed me with a sincere smile, they were polite, helpful and very friendly. The way they treat customers really makes the difference: they make you feel welcome right away! The ice cream is of the highest quality, you can feel that the ingredients are carefully selected. I absolutely recommend this ice cream shop! And if you are undecided about the flavor, try Gianduia Pralinata: a real delight!

21/05/2025: I had lunch in this beautiful place with a group of 25 friends: we were served under the portico, tables set impeccably, delicious food. As a first course they brought fresh pasta flakes with pears, sautéed with gorgonzola and walnuts: a delight! The second course was a wonderful braised beef with Merlot di Breganze that melted in the mouth, with doré potatoes and vegetables. Finally, fruit salad with ice cream. Both white and red wines of excellent quality. Reasonable price, given the location and the quality of food and service. Definitely recommended. Just a note: when you book, give the right number of participants, to avoid unpleasant misunderstandings.

16/06/2025: L’esperienza dal punto di vista culinario è stata fantastica: entree, antipasti e costata selezione Damini veramente buonissimi. Non ho dato il massimo del punteggio perché il servizio non è stato all’altezza: hanno dimenticato di servirci i contorni ordinati e la somelier ci ha portato una bottiglia di un’annata diversa da quella ordinata (senza informarci) e naturalmente abbiamo pagato un prezzo più alto.

19/05/2025: In un panorama gastronomico sempre più attento alla qualità e alla trasparenza, ci si aspetterebbe che l’equilibrio tra prezzo e valore sia una priorità per qualsiasi ristorante ambizioso. Purtroppo, non è il caso di questo locale. Il menù propone piatti dal nome altisonante ma dall’esecuzione modesta, con porzioni contenute e sapori che raramente lasciano il segno. Nulla che giustifichi un conto sorprendentemente elevato, il cui totale sembra più dettato dalla presunzione che dalla sostanza. Particolarmente discutibile è la selezione dei vini in abbinamento: etichette sì rinomate, ma proposte a prezzi che superano di gran lunga il margine del ragionevole. L’impressione è che si punti più a stupire con cifre gonfiate che a valorizzare davvero l’esperienza enogastronomica. In sintesi, un ristorante che si presenta con grandi promesse ma che lascia il cliente con la sensazione di aver pagato molto per molto poco. Un peccato, soprattutto per chi crede ancora che l’eccellenza si misuri prima con il palato che con il portafoglio.
