25/06/2024: Proper restaurant! great prices and good food. Highly recommended.

25/06/2024: Home-made trattoria like it used to be: it's nice to sit and eat as if you were at home as a guest of an aunt! The environment is renovated, very clean and spacious, but the dishes are plentiful and cooked simply according to traditional recipes. No creams, mousses or gourmet pretensions, just a few good and simple dishes to choose from among those of the day. The only regret is thinking that when the old management is no longer there, perhaps yet another "magnificent" one will arise in its place!

29/07/2024: I tried the pizza and the potato cake: everything was delicious! The owners are very kind. I have become a regular customer.

17/07/2024: Historic, the same managers from many years ago have remained. Pizza by the slice, slightly heavy dough.

04/08/2024: Lack of any kind of hygiene. This place is an absolute hovel - stay away if you want to avoid food poisoning. Location is good, inside a forest.

12/08/2024: Very bad people: I ordered a pizza and after finding a long hair stuck in the pizza I called the waiter who took the dish away. After 30 seconds, the pizza chef/owner of the restaurant arrived with the hair in her hand, who began to say in a loud voice and an aggressive tone, in the middle of the room, that the hair couldn't be hers because she has short hair. He basically called me a liar. I honestly couldn't care less whose hair it was, it certainly wasn't supposed to be on the pizza. However, no one from the club apologized for what happened. SHAMEFUL.

04/08/2024: Beautiful place, nice and friendly people, really excellent food, more than good price, if they asked for something more, I wouldn't have had to say.

31/08/2024: A supreme location but an ok restaurant. While the looks it’s something special, the services is average, they do try though. The food is okay. The real winner here is the castle itself and the views. Toilets are holes on the floor. A fair price only after considering the location

30/08/2024: Suggestive place....we visited them on an afternoon walk...at Romeo's castle the guardian entertained us and made us dream with his stories from other times

16/06/2024: We ate a sandwich with high quality meat. Welcome aperitif and very good craft beers. We will definitely return. The guys were kind, because we hadn't booked but we were coming from far away, and we couldn't wait to taste their delicacies, it was worth it. Thanks again for accommodating us. The menu is also well stocked with vegetable alternatives.

03/08/2024: Perfect evening, impeccable raw food dinner, plentiful and of the highest quality as regards the freshness of the fish... definitely worth trying to get a top 5 star gift... Angelo's wife's service is always unique and attentive to every need!! I recommend it to everybody

08/07/2024: The appetizers of canestrelli and scallops were good, fresh, well cooked, excellent flavor. The second course is less good, a salted sea bass, an apparently simple dish (hic videtur tua nobilitate) which requires raw materials, skilful cooking, skilful deboning. We drank Trentino bubbles Zero Infinito Poier and Sandri, an interesting and easy-drinking wine. Average dessert. Cost 70/75 per person, wine included

06/08/2024: we were there out of curiosity, well in the meantime the cleanliness was 0, dirty chair covers, ants on the floor, dirty glass, dirty tablecloths and bread bins...poor service, two young boys bringing one thing for another, we asked for sparkling water and they brought it to us smooth, sambuca without ice and it arrived with ice...not soft bill x 4 first courses 1 cut 2 coffees 2 amari €30 each

02/09/2024: The strong point is the scene that presents itself upon arrival in the square in Villaga. The lights and position are fantastic, the tables, tablecloths and chairs are very well looked after and everything looks like a picture of a popular environment from times gone by. We are fine with a small surcharge for the pleasure of dining in such an environment but 16.50 as the average price of a dish is quite high. The service has the flaw of asking for the side dishes of the meat as if they were part of the dish only to then discover that they are separate. In this way the average price of a course with wine and cover charge is 25 euros. Excellent desserts, wine and the pleasure of being with other people in peace. Certainly within the reach of those who know the place but still above average. Anyway . , . . OPTIMAL

01/09/2024: Historic trattoria on the hills with a wide selection of dishes with seasonal and local products. There is an undoubted quality in the choice of raw materials combined with the courtesy of the staff and the friendliness of the owner. I brought several friends from outside Vicenza and everyone was enthusiastic. The prices are in line with the quality of the dishes. Also worth highlighting is the selection of non-trivial, homemade desserts.

13/05/2024: We stop for a quick dinner during the Alpini rally: as expected the place is full and we are told that there is only room for the second shift at 9am, two hours later. We decide not to stop and then change our mind shortly afterwards (all the places were rightly crowded), calling to ask if there is still availability. I replied no, but strangely when we show up in person a table becomes free (inconsistency?). Everyone gets a pizza, but I read other dishes on the menu and opt for a salad: I am told that in the evening they only do pizzas and no cooking. I wonder what's the point of bringing a complete menu to the customer then... secondly, a salad doesn't require cooking, and I'm quite surprised when a plate of french fries arrives at the next table (inconsistency or error of judgment?). Half an hour of waiting for the pizzas, despite everything being good, soap in the bathroom not received. Experience not to be repeated.
