06/04/2026: There were four of us, on a holiday in the early season. It's fine to be at the beginning of the season, but finding the fish frozen from appetizer to main course was a disappointment. Mussels alla corsara were all empty, and there wasn't even any bread available (just breadsticks) at 1:30 PM. We reported the mussels and sent them back, but they rightly didn't include them in our bill. The first courses were disgusting, with that flavor you find everywhere when the fish is frozen. Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience because we came specifically to eat fresh fish in a seaside place, and instead it wasn't like that.

22/03/2026: Delicious spaghetti with clams, very generous portions, very friendly staff and excellent service!

16/04/2026: On Easter Monday I ate a pizza that seemed smoked, it had a strange taste and smell, and I couldn't eat it... I only ate two slices, paid, kept quiet, and left... But I'll never go back again.

01/01/2026: We didn't get the welcome aperitif as I was told, I'm talking about New Year's Eve dinner, from one course to the next, it took over 45 minutes, too many people, the music was so loud that the tables on the dance floor were constantly vibrating, intense smoke was blowing out, the air was unbreathable to be able to dance, there were 8 of us, 6 slices of panettone and we paid for coffee and water, very disappointed

08/04/2026: The fish and side dish were delicious, but I wasn't thrilled with the dessert.

22/03/2026: While visiting Chioggia, we stopped at this little restaurant. I ordered a plate of cod with black polenta. Unfortunately, as soon as I put the plate on the table, I smelled an unpleasant odor. So, I called the owner, who replied very annoyed that it was impossible. He asked me if I wanted another dish. I ordered a mixed fry. We asked for the bill. Congratulations... he charged me for cod that not even a dog would have eaten. A negative experience and I definitely don't recommend it.

08/04/2026: Welcoming place, truly excellent food and carefully prepared dishes (try the linguine point 2.0!). Friendly, helpful staff, always attentive and quick with service. Recommended!

06/04/2026: Excellent restaurant; I've been there for dinner twice. The location is enviable, with two modern and elegant dining rooms, tastefully furnished, and six tables outside overlooking the canal. Impeccable service, a real treat; they even welcomed me for dinner even though it was 10:00 PM (unexpectedly!), and the cuisine is refined and delicious. Good value for money.

01/04/2026: Characteristic Venetian-style atmosphere; friendly, helpful, discreet, and professional staff; fresh, well-packaged food. Even though we didn't have a reservation, a friendly lady at the front desk went out of her way to accommodate our request. We'll be back with friends...with a reservation this time.

06/03/2026: Very disappointing. Ate little and badly, and spent a lot. Frozen fish, so you couldn't tell if you were eating shrimp or mussels. Everything tasteless. House wine in bulk. Never again.

15/09/2025: Delicious ice cream. With a wide selection of flavors and toppings. The staff speaks some English, but you'll generally get by. Two scoops of ice cream in a cone cost €2.50. There's a large patio in front of the shop.

28/09/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant. The waitress smiled unforcedly, looking like her cat had died. We ordered eight starters, four of which arrived on time, while the other four arrived 30 minutes later (we had to eat in shifts). We didn't even get an apology or a discount, they simply pretended nothing had happened, even after several complaints and requests. The tiramisu was good, but it wasn't tiramisu. The cream wasn't mascarpone; it almost tasted like pudding, and it had at least half a centimeter of bitter cocoa on top. It was good, but it should be mentioned on the menu. Overall, the food was good, but the staff was not. If we were to be in the area again, we wouldn't return.

19/10/2025: The campsite is very nice and has an excellent location. Chioggia is also easily accessible on foot. Unfortunately, there is no water connection for campers. The restrooms are clean. Unfortunately, the water wasn't warm in the evening, which isn't so pleasant when washing your hair in October. The reception staff are very friendly.

20/06/2025: Oggi abbiamo visitato Chioggia e ci siamo trovati all’Osteria Penzo. Non avevamo prenotato ma i gestori sono riusciti a trovarci un posticino. Abbiamo mangiato i cicchetti come antipasto, gnocchetti buonissimi con vongole, radicchio e cipolla ed un’ottimo fritto.Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo, gestori molto cortesi.

19/06/2025: Ich hatte eine schöne Zeit in Chioggia und der Abend in dieser feinen Osteria bei Mario war das i- Tüpfelchen. Das Essen hervorragend! Der Service freundlich! Und obwohl man reservieren muss, bekommt man das Gefühl der einzige und beste Gast zu sein! Hier bekommt man gute Laune und verlässt das Lokal mit einem Lächeln. Vielen Dank, Mario!
