28/08/2025: After half an hour they delivered our food... the staff was very rude and annoyed by the large number of people in the restaurant!! Never had anything like this happen to Mc No comment!!

19/05/2025: Ci sono pranzi che non si dimenticano, e poi c’è La Dosana, un angolo sospeso tra mare e cielo sulla diga di Sottomarina. Seduti su una palafitta che profuma di legno e salsedine, abbiamo assaporato la tradizione: sardine in saor che raccontano storie di pescatori, spaghetti alla busara che sanno di casa, e una grigliata di pesce che sa di festa. Il locale è piccolo, raccolto come una poesia scritta a mano. Il personale è gentile, sorridente, e ti fa sentire parte di una famiglia che ama il mare e la buona cucina. Prenotare è d’obbligo, ma ne vale ogni attimo. Perché La Dosana non è solo un ristorante: è un’esperienza che ti resta nel cuore, come il profumo del mare al tramonto. Un pranzo che è diventato ricordo, una giornata che è diventata emozione.

04/05/2025: Siamo tornati per la seconda volta, e per la seconda volta è stata un’esperienza fantastica. Se volete mangiare pesce di qualità, e trovare personale accogliente e simpatico, questo è il posto giusto!

18/08/2025: Wait an hour and a half for a mediocre burger. As soon as we finished, since there was no one else in the restaurant, they quickly took everything away. Despite all this, at the end, the waiters even laughed in your face! No discount, and no apologies!

06/07/2025: Terrible experience: we were there yesterday to celebrate a hen party. Aperitif agreed 4/5 months ago. Unfortunately the number of 12 has been reduced to 9. We notify in advance and Francesca very kindly replies, via email, that there are no problems. Once we arrive she doesn't let us talk, she doesn't know how to re-proportion the cost of the sunbeds because she says that the cost varies, remaining vague and saying in a very arrogant way to look at the cost on the internet. For the aperitif we ask her about the possibility of having non-alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (for several pregnant girls) and she replies that she can't re-proportion the price and then in an arrogant and aggressive way she says "since we haven't prepared anything yet, you can go for an aperitif somewhere else". I don't know if Francesca is an owner or an employee, in both cases, a senseless and intolerable attitude for a person who works with the public. Shameful!!! ps in the morning we took two carafes, one alcoholic and one non-alcoholic, for the modest sum of 20 euros each, no difference in price, even though the bartender had told us to put Fanta and juice in the non-alcoholic drink!

24/06/2025: I will have a bad memory, I am writing the review after the second day that I go back and forth to the bathroom, I understand the seasonal work but all this stress at the beginning of the season was really exaggerated, hysterical owner who goes face to face with the diners because they ask to make a separate bill, we asked for 5 minutes to split the money with the talking receipt and he responded trembling and screaming to move and give him €30 each, apart from the pacchero and the fried potatoes the rest was really low-level, especially the salad with shrimp tartare, it tasted of pure ice, at least a little lemon zest or salt would have hidden the terrible quality. The girls in the dining room were very kind and helpful, they have potential, the place is not for them.

30/06/2025: We took 3 spaghetti with clams (that's what it said on the menu) instead spaghetti with clams, nothing to do with clams €15 per portion, not even in a fish restaurant do you pay that much, 2 fried foods, 1 of which with a sole that smelled rotten!!!!! I pointed it out to the waiter who smelled it, making a face as if to say oh my god! The intervention of the "lady" perhaps the owner, was unprofessional to say the least! Apart from the rudeness (given that the restaurant has been open for 60 years) with an attitude to make fun of us she told me that 4 people in the kitchen smelled it and that the sole has that smell!!!!! 3 spaghetti with clams, 2 fried foods, 1l of wine 2 water 2 salads (mignon) €120

08/05/2025: Scoperta per caso questa trattoria fuori dal centro di Chioggia Località Saloni. Locale sempre pieno a pranzo, si consiglia prenotazione. Personale molto bravo e super attento ai tavoli, con servizio molto veloce. Propongono un menù del giorno oppure alla carta. Piatti abbondanti e di ottima qualità con pesce fresco di giornata. Ci siamo trovati talmente bene ed abbiamo pranzato per 3 giorni di seguito. Ritorniamo sicuramente!! Bravissimi tutti!!

01/04/2025: Trattoria zona tranquilla di Chioggia. Accoglienza e disponibilità come pochi. Piatti gustosi e abbondanti. Giusto rapporto qualità/ prezzo.

02/06/2025: When passing through Sottomarina, I gladly stop for an aperitif. Spritz for 5 euros with some appetizers, that's fine.

31/05/2025: Le spot est fréquenté par des habitués. Le patron est très accueillant et détendu. Laissez vous guider par ses conseils. Vous ne serez pas déçus.

31/08/2025: From many kilometers away from here I frequent many Japanese/Chinese restaurants but the quality even if far from the sea was much better... raw grilled fish... without a main course but only the dishes they serve with miserable napkins... in short, if they asked me for a restaurant like that I certainly would not recommend this one, especially since it is still in the medium-high range especially in the summer season and is located on the seafront. I would say FULLY FAILED, SORRY.

02/06/2025: We went to dinner at this pastry shop during the day and restaurant in the evening. After a day in Chioggia we noticed the dynamism and attention to service by the waiters. Quality food, excellent fish from the mixed boiled meat appetizer to the linguine with Granseola, all framed by an excellent coffee that made us look and finally say a good coffee. Thanks from us and Perla the dog who enjoyed a taste of Granseola 🥰

16/08/2025: An absolute disaster – never again! I've rarely experienced such poor customer service. Upon entering the store, I was greeted with a look as if I were unwanted. The owner was extremely unfriendly, rude, and lacked any sense of decency – no customer service at all. Questions were answered snippily, complaints ignored. Disrespectful is putting it mildly. You also get the distinct feeling that they're trying to get as much money out of you as possible – completely exorbitant prices for mediocre or even poor service. Nothing is explained, but at the end you're presented with a bill that's simply outrageous. I strongly advise anyone not to enter this place. Anyone who doesn't like being insulted and would rather spend their money on something with quality should definitely steer clear of this store.

16/08/2025: Do you have any intolerances? Skip the whole thing!!! You ask for something without mozzarella, you trust me, and then... You spend half the day in the bathroom. To the older, impolite, black-haired lady, I wish you perpetual food intolerances and allergies with all my heart.

24/07/2025: I'm giving one star because, unfortunately, not giving one is a no-no: terrible service, terrible staff, terrible location. Rude and surly staff, small bar with little attention to detail, cups stained with lipstick and coffee smudges, broken and damaged tables, poor-quality coffee, cold lemon tea that tastes like anything but lemon tea, cappuccino with no foam but only poorly frothed milk, dirty and broken restrooms. I will never set foot in that coffee shop again.
