04/05/2025: Bagni Asia in Sottomarina has a highly recommended beach restaurant. A family who has been coming here specifically from the province of Verona for YEARS tells you this. I'm not joking, as soon as we smell summer, the first thing that comes to mind is coming back here. They offer very fresh fish in generous portions at very honest prices, which is difficult to find even near Lake Garda (where we live), but here the sea is! The atmosphere is welcoming, the service fast, the staff professional and always available. Perfect restaurant for families and those with pets. Since this year they have also modernized the place, renovated showers/bathrooms and installed new children's rides. In addition to lunch, they make excellent aperitifs and rent umbrellas and sunbeds, making it the ideal place for a day of relaxation and good food by the sea.

The guys in the room were courteous but you can see that they are still a little inexperienced. Water €4 and cover charge €3.50 seem a bit excessive to me

04/05/2025: A truly excellent quality ice cream, probably the best I've tried in the area. The dark chocolate flavor is simply fantastic, a flavor not to be missed. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing regarding the gluten-free offering. Although they offer the appropriate cone and many gluten-free flavors, there is no attention to contamination: the same scoop is used to prepare both the gluten-free cone ice cream and the gluten-infused cones, making the ice cream unsafe for celiacs, even though they assured me otherwise. The staff is friendly in general, but I noticed a somewhat hasty attitude or somewhat abrupt responses towards customers. I recommend this ice cream shop for the very high quality of the product, but I must strongly advise against it to those with celiac disease due to contamination problems.

We were not immediately welcomed in the best way, but the real problem was the constant ambiguity in prices. No menu, only spoken verbally. When we asked to get an idea of ​​the prices we were told "NO, I'm the menu". Then we asked for a still house wine and they brought us a bottle of blanc de blanc. Desserts not received. At the checkout they made a fuss about having the bill split in two and the menu items did not appear on the receipt but only the total. All in all, for the quality of the food and the location, the price can also be considered, even if a little high. I would have preferred more transparency, perhaps then I would have also ordered something more.

Do yourself a favor and change places, go to Bella Venezia which is half the price. Or at the same prices go to Gato. I have had my house in Chioggia for years and I wanted to try something new but was very disappointed by this place. A first 20 euros without art or part, dissatisfied in the evening I found it at Bella Venezia for 13 euros and very good. 100 euros and counting for two at lunch for two starters and two first courses, which really weren't good. At dinner I spent half of it eating better. The mussel pepper sauce is just water and whole peeled tomatoes placed on the plate. The price must match the quality and service, and this place is not worth it.
