30/03/2025: Ottima esperienza. Ero a Mira per partecipare alla Dogi's Half Marathon, la Sera prima della gara, insieme a mia moglie ed ad una coppia di amici, siamo stati a cena al Tiro a segno. Ci hanno fatto sentire subito della famiglia, raccontandoci il menù e quale fosse il lavoro dietro i piatti proposti. La qualità offerta ha confermato le aspettative. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Corretto il rapporto qualità prezzo. Il personale è squisito.

26/02/2025: A special and totally unexpected experience. I came here with my boyfriend just today for lunch. The environment is familiar, nothing special but it is an irrelevant thing after having received the welcome of the owners who, with the room empty, made us sit wherever we wanted and pampered from the beginning to the end of our stay. The owner, the culinary artist, gained our trust so much that we gave him carte blanche on the menu. We started with a good glass of red wine, bread and breadsticks made by them and which arrived hot. This was followed by a vegetable appetizer, cotechino with mashed potatoes and a dish with very soft bacon flavored with a mix of herbs made by them which makes it truly special, on a bed of cooked cabbage. To conclude the lunch, a generous portion of homemade strudel with hot mascarpone cream, which we shared, and two coffees. In short, homemade dishes, made with passion and dictated by inspiration, accompanied by such a familiar and impeccable welcome and service that it can only make you feel at home. I hope to be able to come back to try it for dinner too!

12/04/2025: Last night we had mixed fried food, grilled food and various treats for 6 people, with 70 euros we ate so much, it was all delicious, the grilled food was like it was made at home on the grill, the fried food was really good, not greasy, digestible, our guests were really satisfied and something remained for today too. 04/05/2025: Nice location, but the room was terribly uncomfortable when I first arrived. The thermostat was locked and set on 27. It was 14 in the room so I unlocked the thermostat and adjusted the temperature but it was already set on 27 so I called the front desk and they turned the air conditioning off remotely. Before we went to bed I had them turn it back on. When we woke up the next morning. it was 12.5 Celsius or 54°F, as we left the that morning, I alerted the staff at the desk that the thermostat did not appear to be working and we had turned the unit off, we departed and enjoyed a nice day in Venice. When we came back to the room around 6:30, Housekeeping had been in and made up the beds, replaced the towels and turned the air conditioner back on. It was 12° whenever we got to the room. I went down to the front desk and alerted the staff that no one had been in the room to correct the air-conditioning thermostat, I was told they can only turn it off and on remotely, there is no control. The desk clerk said I have to call the front desk to have them turn it off and turn it on whenever you want to adjust the setting. The thermostat was set on 27 but it was 12° in the room and it was extremely uncomfortableI. The lack of resolution after alerting the staff twice within 24 hours earns this rating of one star. I have been an HVACR technician for 40 years, so I know how thermostats work. If I ever visit Venice again, which is likely because it is amazing, I will never stay at this Best Western and I can’t recommend it to anyone else. We were on a Globus tour (our 3rd) but we won’t do another one because of the hotels that were chosen.

04/05/2025: I spent two nights this May long weekend, paying for a deluxe room to ensure greater comfort, but I didn't choose the deluxe option with a canal view because the price already seemed exorbitant. I still find a 4-star hotel a bit steep, and in reality, it was more like a 3-star hotel. The room wasn't bad, but the problem was that it overlooked an interior courtyard where the laundry room would start operating around 3 a.m., and large, super-noisy trolleys would roll across the uneven floor of this courtyard, making it impossible to sleep. This was also at very early hours of the morning. I should have mentioned it the first night, but I thought it was a one-off... but no, it was the same the second night. When I mentioned it at reception when I was leaving, they said they'd taken note, but honestly, I didn't think my complaint would get anywhere.

03/01/2025: This was my first time getting products in the deli. Without taking anything away from the product counter, a beautiful presence, unfortunately I have to say that I was disappointed. The food was not what I thought. But I have to compliment the organization and the environment.
