I had the honor of eating at Koenji: an intimate and cozy atmosphere, superb food (honorable mention for the house cicchetti and the tender beef curry), and very sweet and attentive waitresses.
There's no music in the restaurant, which I personally appreciate very much... it's quiet enough to appreciate what you're enjoying and engage in conversation.
The only downside is the heat inside the restaurant; there's a dehumidifier, but unfortunately it's not enough :(

It was a wonderful discovery amidst the streets of Venice. The attention to detail is immediately apparent, starting with the elegant plating, especially in the way the appetizers are served on a refined wooden tray.
We were enchanted by the quality of every course, from the richly flavored ramen to the unique desserts, like the delicious green tea dessert served with gelato. A must-try.

First time at this Japanese restaurant in Venice, very nice but preferable in autumn or winter because the air conditioning doesn't cool the guests' tables properly. The bill was quite steep: two appetizers, two main courses, a bottle of water, and three glasses of wine totaled €116.50. The appetizers were good, but the daily specials were much less so... the swordfish tempura was neither crispy nor dry... the fish wasn't very fresh. I don't know if I'd return. Finally, I don't think it's appropriate or even elegant to bring a small plate of edamame to the table as soon as guests arrive, before placing any orders, and then having them added to their bill. Not because of the amount, but because of the principle...

A very beautiful and well-maintained place. The staff is immediately very kind and attentive in explaining the various dishes.
The dishes we tried were truly amazing, and the 100 km drive to get there was definitely worth it. We'll definitely be back to try more.
I should add that for those with lactose intolerance, they also have many lactose-free options.
What else can I say? Congratulations!

I was craving Japanese food and was drawn to this place because of its name, Koenji.
Since it's owned and operated by a Japanese person, the soy sauce ramen was truly high quality.
The beef tendon stew appetizer was especially fantastic.
Also, all the foreign staff members spoke Japanese, which was the most surprising thing I've experienced at a Japanese restaurant abroad. I highly recommend it to Japanese travelers!

This Japanese restaurant offers great value for money overall. The average price per person is low, but the food is prepared with care and tastes delicious.
The appetizers are very generous in portion size, while the noodle portions are a bit small and slightly salty. However, overall it's still quite tasty, and you can tell that each dish was made with care.
The restaurant has limited indoor seating and is quite popular, so reservations are recommended to avoid not getting a table. Overall, it's a high-value Japanese restaurant worth returning to.
