15/11/2025: We had a wonderful evening at this place. Dinner was accompanied by a young jazz band playing. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly. The fact that it wasn't crowded made the evening even more enjoyable.

05/11/2025: A simple but excellent pizzeria. A wide selection of pizzas and other dishes; we chose fried fish, bigoli, and a few pizzas: everything was excellent, plentiful, and the pizzas were well-topped. One of the few places where the prices remain excellent! Recommended.

19/07/2025: Il posto è splendido, anche se non si capisce bene da fuori, e la cucina è commovente. Un antipasto, un primo e un dessert in due, io ho preso la Venezia nel piatto ed era tutto perfetto. Anche la cheesecake scomposta era straordinaria. Bravi!

07/10/2025: We really enjoyed our dinner at Bacanera. The service was lovely - friendly & helpful and not too much or too little. Our meals we delicious - particularly our mains course see pics) … cooked to perfection (the pork was melt in your mouth, the chick & rabbit ragu oozed flavour and the red turnip/orange was surprisingly delicate). We let the waiter select our wines to match our food and they were bang on. A lovely quiet part of Venice and reasonably priced.

06/10/2025: Wonderful meal and very reasonably priced. Waiting staff very helpful. We came for lovely Italian pasta and weren’t disappointed. Had the sardines to start which were v tasty. For mains, I had the Bigoli in Soar which was lovely but didn’t taste as much of anchovies I might have hoped! My husband had a lasagne and it was delicious. Waiting staff were superb and more than happy to let me sample a couple of wines before I chose my glass offering helpful advice. We treated ourselves to puddings of creme caramel and tarte tatin which were also delicious. You are also served a lovely little amuse-bouche mini bruschetta which were delicious.

07/10/2025: A very charming and well-kept place, where you'll find only fresh and/or top-quality products, always at the right price. The outdoor tables are also very nice, perfect for enjoying an aperitif while chatting. Excellent and full of lovely people, even in the evening, with great, classy music. 😉 Absolutely recommended and worth a try!

22/10/2025: Definitely one of the best restaurants in Sottomarina. The food was excellent, and the service was truly excellent (I assume from the owner), so it deserves 5 stars. I gave 4 stars to the atmosphere (even though it's very clean and charming) only because I like eating outside (especially in the summer), and unfortunately there's no outdoor seating. That's more than fair considering the quality of the food and wines. Congratulations!
