21/10/2025: excellent fisherman's pizza and very good house white wine

27/09/2025: We actually didn't plan on going to this restaurant, but we missed two of our planned restaurants because they were closed, so we decided to go to the one closer to our accommodation, which was amazing. We were impressed with the service, the staff were friendly and smiling, the seafood was fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere was warm. It must have been fate that we found this restaurant, and we were not disappointed.

14/11/2025: The food was tasty, however, the service was very poor. The waiter didn't provide a clear breakdown of the service charges, and when asked for an explanation, he responded aggressively, demanding payment at the register. We were charged €96 for four dishes that the menu listed at €16 each, without any explanation of the service charge or the cost of two bottles of water.

13/11/2025: I hadn't been back for two years. I used to be a regular before the COVID-19 pandemic, but the spirit is gone. The staff is very (too?) professional, the dishes are about average for what you can find in Venice, and unfortunately, so are the prices. This restaurant has become a cash cow. I'm the first to be disappointed. It's impossible to find fault with it, and yet the price is out of proportion for what's on offer. If you're a regular, you might get to eat a bit better, with options not listed on the menu and more premium ingredients. That's why I say the spirit is gone.

23/10/2025: Great place, emphasis on fish, but other choices too. We didn't book, they fitted us in, but before long they were turning people away, which is always a good sign to its popularity. We had prawn cocktail, and fried Prawns and sardines to start, very large portions for a starter. We then had sea bass, and John Dory for main course, both delicious. A vibrant atmosphere, highly recommended.

21/10/2025: A hidden spot away from the city center. Very unique and with delicious food. These are places you stumble across unintentionally, and they're worth coming back for. It's essential to book.

01/11/2025: The appearance doesn't do justice to how special this restaurant is. Excellent sardines in saor and seafood spaghetti. Homemade tiramisu with an extremely generous portion. I've now come to rely on it whenever I'm in the area for work.

29/10/2025: The fried fish was inedible in terms of flavor and cooking, as was the spaghetti with shrimp and calamari, which were cold and almost frozen. The atmosphere was neglected, and the wait was unjustified, considering the food was so poorly prepared. The prices were high for the extremely poor quality.

14/11/2025: The atmosphere is a bit dated, but the pizzas are good. There's also a trattoria.

22/10/2025: The food is excellent; I recommend the stewed cuttlefish, but the pizzas are also good. The restaurant could use a makeover, but loyal customers are fine with it. The karaoke on Fridays is a great idea!

27/09/2025: Very good disco and the DJ was on point. He fulfilled every musical wish. The cocktails are good.

21/09/2025: This pub in the center of Mestre is a must-visit for those who want to eat well and watch Serie A or Champions League matches! Fast and attentive table service. A variety of dishes to suit all tastes. Recommended!

13/09/2025: We used to go almost regularly. They have good coffee. But before, at least it was a decent place, with quick service and friendly, courteous staff. But now they've hired someone else and changed the service rules. And not in a good way. But the loud music is still there. We'll be changing the bar.

21/10/2025: A restaurant with an impressive selection of wine. The food was good - above average. I had the poached egg with porcini and cheese foam which I adored. The egg was slightly under-done. The Russian salad with crab was good, if a little bit too smothered in mayonnaise, and the monk fish was a little overcooked.

13/10/2025: Although it was a restaurant, if you didn't make a reservation you had to share a table at the entrance, so it felt more like a wine bar. The slightly conspicuous corner restaurant seemed to have been awarded a Michelin star. The risotto I ordered was the best I'd ever had, with the porcini, and of course the al dente was absolutely amazing. It was the best meal of the day. I scanned the QR code for wine and started with my favorite Piedmontese Nebbiolo, but it was also reasonably priced and fresh. Since I was there, I also ordered a Veneto Merlot. Veneto wines are light and perfect for seafood, and although it's not seafood, the veal tartare, with its anchovy mayonnaise, was a perfect accompaniment to the wine. The bread was warm and came with small walnuts. The water was a little too much for my liking, but it was just right since I hadn't been drinking much.

26/10/2025: I had a great time at this hotel. Mrs. Elisabeth was very kind. The rooms were very clean. The food was excellent, and the breakfast was plentiful. I will definitely be back.

14/10/2025: A neighborhood eatery with the best prices in Venice, for a very high quality of local food. Prepare to wait for a seat or better yet, eat like a local, by standing at the bar.

06/09/2025: Appreciable and focused research in the offer of innovative dishes, enough to pique your interest even when reading the menu, which is detailed in its descriptions of ingredients. Excellent ravioli with truffle and the turbot preparation. Delicious bread accompaniments are varied throughout the meal, depending on the dishes. Very original and satisfying desserts. Appropriate wine. Elegantly modern and functional decor, well-suited to a building that clearly demonstrates its rural origins. Friendly service and knowledgeable explanations of the dishes. Absolutely fair pricing.

18/09/2025: An incredibly atmospheric bar! High-quality and delicious cocktails, light snacks available. A small drawback: it was closed one evening, despite the advertised opening hours.
