10/03/2026: I had a late lunch with my daughter at this restaurant, inspired by Paya's blog. The recommended seafood risotto was superb. It was hands down the best risotto I've ever had. The rice was perfectly firm, the seafood flavor was delicious, the shrimp was plump, and the Italian parsley was crisp. From my seat, I could see the chef's process, and he was very attentive. Risotto orders are for two or more people, so unfortunately, we couldn't order the vongole. The burrata was also delicious. The waiter was cheerful and attentive, making for a very satisfying lunch. The restaurant was also immaculately clean, with not a speck of dust on the surface.

04/01/2026: A welcoming, historic venue with very friendly staff... "Christmas Eve dinner" with a varied menu, albeit somewhat limited in choice. The starters were very good and generous in quantity. The first course I had was prawn tails, but tasteless, as were the side dishes. The second course was stewed cuttlefish... I'd rate it as sufficient... we'll be back to try again.

31/03/2026: Disappointing. The spaghetti was too hard, the accompanying clams small and still in their shells. A huge hassle to pick at them.
The seafood platter was poor. Small portion, presented without care. The asparagus was overcooked and looked like it had been run over by a truck multiple times.

11/02/2026: I had the most incredible time dining here last night. We had a large group of 7, and were fortunately able to get a table later in the evening (8:30pm). It was immediately clear that we were in for a treat. The owner, Andrea, was charming, funny, and took so much pride and love in his selection of ingredients and wine. Our entire group agreed that it was the best dining experience of the entire trip.

29/11/2025: We stopped for a spritz...we noticed they made the cicchetti on the spot, so let's go for it!! Both the cod one and the shrimp in saor one were fabulous. Then we saw a plate of fried fish at the next table and ordered that too...excellent both in terms of the way it was cooked and the quantity and variety of fish. Well done!!!

15/03/2026: For those who want to eat fish, this is a great place. The location is a bit cramped, but it's still spacious. The daily menu is based on the catch. Bring an appetite and dig in. Nicola has recommendations; you just have to eat.

01/02/2026: First time I went and I must say it was a great surprise, quiet, clean, just the right amount of silence, excellent food all made by them from the bread, breadsticks, homemade pasta, biscuits, everything was good, courtesy and kindness are the masters in this restaurant, I recommend it
25/12/2025: A guarantee. Top location, top quality food, top service, top owners. It was a pleasant discovery for those who love small, local places with a rustic and romantic atmosphere and who want to eat a lot and quality food while enjoying being pampered. Keep it up because I highly recommend you and I always love coming back! P.S.: the tartare is my favorite dish :)

23/02/2026: The food is simple and great! Service was very nice! The place is small and cozy and has a decent atmosphere, but I have to unfortunately say that it is absolutely overpriced for the quality of the place and the experience. It is more expensive and de facto same quality - than most tourist traps in Venice. I went on the hopes to go to local, highly but fairly priced good quality place, unfortunately the experience does not live up to the prices.

08/03/2026: Definitely my favourite place in Dolo. It has perfect outdoor seating - a little sun trap by the gorgeous canal (whete you can spot turtules, lizards and collect wild herbs). Equally good for drinks & aperitivos as for cakes and coffees (incl. non diary options). Staff are super friendly too. Good to note, they do the little cakes as take away trays, and everything is priced resonably.
21/02/2026: Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with this pastry shop.
The pastries and brioches are beautiful to look at and well-stocked, but the flavor is nothing special.
For a pastry shop, blasting techno music at 10:20 on a Saturday morning is a no-no.
The place is quite dirty, with tables that aren't cleaned.
On a positive note: the staff was friendly, but they're too few to properly manage the entire place.

02/03/2026: The food arrived cold, likely because it was being moved around on the plate for too long before being served. Overall, the staff seemed poorly trained. The only person who appeared competent and knew what she was doing was the lady in white at the front desk.
