07/04/2025: We stayed on Sunday at Sgura and ate very well, excellent quality, excellent price, friendly and polite staff. Recommended when you go to Chioggia.

25/04/2025: They offered both indoor and outdoor seatings. The atmosphere was great, the service and food were even better. The staff were very accommodating, even the owner were friendly service. We had calamari for starter, black squid ink and lobster linguine for main and Panna cotta for dessert, it was so good. More importantly the restaurant does not charge cover charge/ service charge on top. Highly recommend.

13/04/2025: The place is very nice. In the afternoon with the sun… very good. I only had a coffee and a “Sprizz”, so I can’t say anything about the food. But I can say that the service is below average. No attention, no friendliness (especially with tourists). If the bar is full, you need patience to get a table and an extra dose of patience to deal with the waiters.

29/03/2025: Op een stralende dag hier samen lunchen is natuurlijk een feestje. Beeldschoon dakterras op toplocatie met schitterend uitzicht over de lagune. Goed eten kun je op meer plekken, hier kom je voor de unieke plek en de uitstekende service. Danieli is een van de oudste en meest gerenommeerde hotels van Venetië. Op dit dakterras wordt chique geluncht (hoewel niet alle gasten dat begrijpen. Alleen een kop koffie kan niet en dat wordt middels de forse coperta vriendelijk uitgelegd). Ons menu was goed, maar niet heel uitzonderlijk. De vrouwelijke sommelier liet steken vallen: twee van de vier wijnen werden pas ingeschonken toen het gerecht al op tafel stond. En bij de uitleg keek zij alleen mij aan en niet de gastheer: heel ongemakkelijk. De toiletten zijn voorzien van Acqua di Parma ammenities. Let ook op de schitterende glas in lood ramen uit Murano met Venetiaanse voorstellingen, op weg naar het dakterras. Natuurlijk zijn de prijzen hier enorm. Wij hadden een fantastische middag.

29/01/2025: You can take long walks getting to know its streets. You find luxurious shops, restaurants of all specialties and I recommend that if you arrive by train and you have to walk back to the station for the return, that you do it on foot because going by bus costs almost €10

31/03/2025: Evening in company.. everyone had pizza.. rich in ingredients but, as happened on other occasions, thirsty during the night, problem also had by other friends... we did not take fish dishes given the prices on the list, we had a table under a veranda tent, well heated also given the rainy evening, but certainly not nice, the place is a bit holed up in the middle of some streets, parking problem, you have to look for a free place in front of the houses, good prices for pizzas instead...

30/03/2025: I had a starter grilled calamari and squid nice also bruschetta . Mains I had spaghetti with shrimp and half lobster white sauce. Also risotto zucchini and shrimp and desserts very tasty pistachio cheese cake and lemon cake. Also bottle of wine all that for €131 very tasty food and nice wine. Good service short wait for food lovely place.

22/03/2025: Rustic and homely atmosphere. The lady who looked after us was very nice and informal, in line with the place. Ate very well, generous portions. Recommended the cooked herbs, divine. The tiramisu is delicious, also made in a simple and homemade way. Excellent quality/price ratio. Beautiful Saturday evening and with karaoke the fun was guaranteed! Definitely worth doing again. Advised.
