05/10/2025: I treated myself to some ice cream here – the portion was really generous, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was warm and friendly, and I felt welcome. Unfortunately, the ice cream tasted rather average – I wasn't particularly impressed. What I found disappointing was that they only accepted cash payments.

21/09/2025: Feels like a rip-off!!! Small portions, the food tastes almost like nothing, tomato slices on the food simply taste old, almost spoiled. After I asked the owner why the portions were small, he said it's like that everywhere in India, small somosas are supposedly overpriced in India, they're small and cost €2 each. I know it's different... overpriced drinks, just stay away.

07/11/2025: I went with my classmates to this pizzeria and both the pizza and the kebab are very good, the staff are very kind, helpful, friendly and joke a lot with the customers, the bathroom was very clean and there was also a very beautiful painting

30/10/2025: A cappuccino is ridiculously expensive 😅 €5.50 if you eat in and €4.50 to go. Don't make the mistake of going in unless you're rolling in money. The coffee is very good, though 😁. But honestly, there are better and cheaper places.

16/09/2025: We went to the Spaghetti House in Caorle once during our holiday. We normally know all the good restaurants and pizzerias in the area as we have holidayed in Caorle several times. But we have never been here before and so we decided to have dinner there. Spaghetti Ragu (Bolognese) was totally dry, hardly any sauce and almost no minced meat to be seen, not to mention the taste. The mixed salad was full of stalks and vinegar/oil as well as salt and pepper only in sachets (disposable packaging). It took ages to get the bill; instead we were ignored and the money was constantly being asked for or new orders were taken. When we paid, our jaws dropped open because this loveless meal, which was probably not even cooked by the staff, cost more than elsewhere. Tip: if you are really hungry and want to eat well, you can go to Reeps opposite. They have large meat dishes which seem more expensive at first glance, but are cheaper overall with drinks.

On the evening of July 10, 2025, when I first arrived in Venice, I saw this place on the street and thought it looked cheap, so I sat down. Since I don't speak Italian, I could only look at the picture on the menu and ordered a plate of seafood spaghetti, which was listed as 9 euros. While eating, I didn't think the seafood was fresh at all, but I figured, for only 9 euros, I couldn't expect more. However, when I paid, I was charged 108 euros! They said the price on the menu was for 100 grams, but the plate I was given was 1000 grams, plus a 12% service charge. I blamed myself for not reading the price on the menu, but they didn't confirm the portion size when I ordered. Furthermore, if the plate of spaghetti was 500 grams, it's possible, but it definitely wasn't 1000 grams! After negotiating with two shop assistants, one offered a discount, charging me 80 euros. I said I could only pay 50 euros, and he said, "Let's call the police." But he didn't seem to call them. I asked when they would arrive, and they said it would take at least two hours. After a while, another shop assistant came over to mediate, saying they didn't want to cause any trouble. I also checked menus from other restaurants and found out that the average price of a seafood pasta is around 25-30 euros. I hope more people can see this post and avoid falling into such scams.

04/09/2025: I don't recommend it. When you go to pay, the prices are different from the menus at the tables. Basically, you pay one amount one day and a different one the next, at the owner's discretion. P.S. In four days, I haven't even issued a receipt!

12/11/2025: My boyfriend and I stumbled across this place and decided to try it out. We weren’t very hungry, so we just wanted a soft drink and a main course — but honestly, we regretted even sitting down. From the start, the service was shockingly rude. When we walked in, the waiter snapped “drinks or food?” — no greeting, no smile. After we said food, he pointed at a table without another word. Then he came over, threw four menus on our table (there were only two of us) and walked off. We waited over 15 minutes before anyone bothered to come back, even though there were only a few other tables. When he finally showed up, he walked away mid-order without saying anything, came back chatting to his colleague and the table behind us, and kept ignoring us like we didn’t exist. Throughout the meal he rolled his eyes whenever we tried to get his attention, and never once checked on us — even though he kept hovering around other tables every five minutes being overly friendly. The difference in treatment was painfully obvious. When we asked for the bill, we had to call him over three separate times and wait another 15 minutes before he brought it. He rolled his eyes again, said “just a moment,” and disappeared. When the bill finally came (€45.50), he looked annoyed we didn’t tip — and then charged us €46 anyway. It’s not about the 50 cents, it’s the attitude and the complete lack of respect. The food itself was fine, but the service was genuinely one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a restaurant. Being treated like a nuisance for simply ordering a main course is unacceptable

12/03/2026: What can I say? Embarrassing. Nonexistent service and customer service. THEY DON'T USE REAL APEROL, but a Lidl sub-brand. Undrinkable coffee. Ridiculous prices. The staff are exclusively foreign, as, according to internal sources, they are exploited and underpaid. Stay away.

11/03/2026: We had dinner here 2 nights in a row. The carbonara was absolutely delicious 😋 their desserts are beyond incredible. Very relaxing and quiet atmosphere for a relax lunch or dinner. Staff was very friendly.

27/10/2025: A real ugly black Hair on the Plate with No excuse. We won't come Back again. And really high prices for less quality. That was our last evening in venice and we are really disappointed!

10/07/2025: Just a typical Chinese restaurant. It's incredibly noisy due to the Chinese crowd. They serve bibimbap to Korean package tourists, but it's not very tasty.

11/07/2025: Viajero ciego estafado — € 9 pasta convertida en € 63 Tengo discapacidad visual, y esta fue mi primera visita a una trattoria en Venecia. Desafortunadamente, fui engañado debido a mi incapacidad para ver claramente. El personal recomendó un plato de pasta, diciendo que era de € 9. Lo ordené, confiando en esa información. Pero cuando llegó el momento de pagar, el propietario me dijo que en realidad eran 9 € por 100 gramos, algo que nunca me explicaron en ningún momento. Sin pedir mi consentimiento, cocinaron 700 gramos y luego me gritaron que pagara 63€. Cuando lo dudé, el dueño amenazó con llamar a la policía, lo que me puso extremadamente ansioso y asustado. Les dije que no tenía tarjeta, solo algo de dinero en efectivo. Me presionaron hasta que les di todo el dinero que tenía para salir de allí. Como alguien ciego, confío en explicaciones verbales claras. Pero ninguno fue proporcionado. En Florencia, cuando pedí filete, mostraron claramente el peso y el precio de antemano. Aquí, se aprovecharon de mi vulnerabilidad. Adjunto una foto del plato que sirvieron. Parecía una pasta típica de marisco, no algo que debería costar 63€. Y para ser claros, los 63€ eran solo para la pasta. Las bebidas y otros artículos se cobran por separado. Esto hace que la falta de explicación previa sea aún más indignante. Más tarde, encontré otra reseña que describía exactamente la misma situación: a un cliente le dijeron que era una “pasta de mariscos”, asumió que eran 15 € como los demás y terminó cobrándole 63 € por pasta de langosta. Es evidente que este es un patrón de engaño dirigido a los turistas, especialmente a aquellos que no están familiarizados con las prácticas locales o a personas vulnerables como yo. Ni siquiera me dieron un recibo. Esto no solo fue deshonesto, sino discriminatorio. Evita este lugar. Se benefician de engañar y amenazar a los clientes vulnerables.

05/07/2025: Nous recommandons ce restaurant qui est vraiment bon! J ai mangé du foie à la Vénitienne un délice!!! Les pâtes étaient très bonne aussi et le service excellent. Merci pour ce bon moment.
