07/12/2025: The worst place I've ever seen. The waiters were the rudest, they couldn't be more rude. I was having a drink on the terrace when some family members came to sit with me, and he immediately kicked them off. Absolutely awful! And ridiculously expensive too.

22/11/2025: A wonderful place in the very center of Venice near the opera. A large selection of desserts and panini, VERY tasty coffee. There is a toilet, adequate prices. Two halls - a restaurant and a bar, quite a lot of space. It is very convenient to come here while walking around the city and have a rest. Location, price/quality ratio - a pleasant surprise for Venice.

17/11/2025: The restaurant is simple, the location is fantastic. The Aperol is the standard size and the price is extremely cheap (€5) compared to other restaurants, and it even comes with complimentary potato chips. The view is beautiful, and the waiters are friendly. A great stop for a snack/drinks, but perhaps for a full meal, other places might be better.

02/11/2025: Good food, great flavor, and excellent service; the place feels very authentic.

09/12/2025: We simply ordered a ham and mushroom pizza and a beer. The dough was frozen and not even cooked properly, there were three slices of ham, and a meager amount of mushrooms and cheese. The beer, for €5, could have been better.

25/07/2025: I've always found this place to be very courteous and professional. The family-run business is an incredible added value; the raw ingredients and the owners' experience combine to create a truly excellent product. They have a great deal of imagination in creating bold combinations of many ingredients and a great respect for traditional recipes. Highly recommended.

28/09/2025: A very convenient location in the center of Dolo, on the main street. Neat and clean. The quality of the products offered is excellent, and the service is prompt and professional. Average value for money. Seating is available in the spacious interior. Highly recommended. Thank you 🙏

09/11/2025: Frozen pizza served on a practically black, burnt, disgusting, and unsuitable cutting board. The lady forced the fries on us. The Coke was dirty water, a sore point... NO RECEIPT FOR ANYONE. YOU ARE JUST LUCKY TO WORK IN THE TOURISM INDUSTRY. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED... A TOURIST TRAP...

09/11/2025: AVOID AVOID AVOID Was in Venice overnight before flying home so we wandered in the Venice maze then decided to stop for dinner at L'Incontro. We ordered the "tourist special" for 13€. If I could put less than a star I would. I ordered the scaloppine in white wine sauce. The 2 cutlets of meat were served on a small bread plate, were paper thin and were covered in a lumpy white sauce. It looked gross. I couldn't identify what kind of meat it actually was. When I complained, the server was rude and not accomodating. We ended up having to pay the full price and leaving without having eaten. It's tourist trap to AVOID at any cost. I am not mistaken. My payment receipt says L'Incontro, Venezia. Unless there is another restaurant called L'Incontro in Venice. One of the pics posted of the inside of the restaurant looks exactly the one we were in!!

07/12/2025: Terrible experience, very poor quality food. The Caesar salad was probably taken from the bag and thrown onto the plate without even draining it because it was full of water. The chicken tasted like cardboard. Not recommended, especially since the prices are definitely not low.

14/12/2025: The waiter's service was terrible. You try to order a typical Venetian beer and he tries to pull the wool over your eyes, saying that "Leffe" is from the region. Even when you tell him it's Belgian, he laughs in your face and says he didn't know... I definitely won't be returning to this place! Ciao.

14/12/2025: The service was appalling. We asked the waiter for a typical Venetian/Italian beer, and he told us that Leffe was from the Venice region. We accepted, even though we knew it wasn't from Venice, as it's Belgian. A little while later, we saw him discussing the situation with his colleague, looking at us and laughing. Then another colleague joined in the laughter. When we asked for the bill, we told the waiter that he had no right to lie to us about the beer's origin just because we were tourists and that we deserved respect. He simply told us to relax, while his two colleagues watched the scene from behind the bar, laughing. We felt completely humiliated. We do not recommend this place; the service was shameful.

08/11/2025: I found the staff very helpful and friendly, even though I arrived late in the evening. The pizza was still good, though a bit overcooked. The menu seems decent. The historic photos of Chioggia over the years are beautiful, as is the historic plaque commemorating the restaurant's origins, which hangs on the walls of the pizzeria and restaurant.

02/11/2025: We chose this restaurant for its varied menu, which ranged from fish to meat and pizza. We found it to be an elegant, spacious, and quiet place. All four of us ate good food, and the prices were reasonable. It will be our go-to place for dining when we return to Chioggia.

09/06/2025: Non possiamo commentare il cibo, perché ce ne siamo andati prima di ordinare. Possiamo esprimere un’opinione solo sul servizio. Appena arrivati, abbiamo chiesto di poter cambiare tavolo e ci siamo spostati in una zona più tranquilla. Da lì in poi… il nulla. Dopo 20 minuti di attesa, durante i quali nessuno si è avvicinato per prendere l’ordine, abbiamo deciso di andarcene. Ci siamo alzati e usciti, senza che nessuno se ne accorgesse. Non mi sembra affatto professionale.

07/06/2025: Wie immer sehr gut gegessen, einziger Kritikpunkt dass anscheinend vom Service das falsche Gericht boniert und geordert wurde, da es trotzdem sehr schmackhaft und ähnlich war gibt’s nur einen Punkt Abzug dieses mal

08/10/2025: Breakfast with pastries and cappuccino. Excellent pastries in the best local tradition.

17/08/2025: At rush hour it's hard to stay there but otherwise everything is excellent. I ordered a hot cappuccino without foam with 37 degrees of heat and the lady prepared it for me as I requested. I like it hot and I can never get it quick.

07/12/2025: A nice place for breakfast. The staff is definitely friendly and helpful, and they have a good selection of both sweet and savory items. We had breakfast (two croissants to fill as desired and two cappuccinos) and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and the price, which came to €8, which we thought was fair for a city like Venice. There's no table service, but there's a lovely internal courtyard where you can relax. The only downside is definitely the pay-to-use restrooms.

07/12/2025: Dishonest staff and terrible pizza, far from the quality one would expect in Italy. Let me explain. I ordered two slices of pizza, for which I heard they were asking €3. They then asked me to pay in cash, which I agreed to. I handed over a €10 note and waited for the change... which never came. The guy told me it was €10, giving me a bogus price for each slice. In short, I paid less than half a pizza for the price of a whole one, and it was awful. Absolutely avoid this place.

26/05/2025: Gran cerveza helada servida en vasos helados! Pizzas también muy sabrosas, tan bueno que volvimos dos veces! Personal encantador. Precios realmente razonables.

13/10/2025: The croissants are cheap and delicious, and the coffee is okay.

12/10/2025: Excellent coffee and service. English spoken. They even make Cappuccino in the afternoon!!!!
