19/09/2025: We wanted a drink of water in the middle of the afternoon. We first asked the waiter if we could have anything to drink, and he said yes, except coffee. We sat down and asked for two waters, which wasn't possible. At least one of us had to drink something alcoholic, which we don't do. Then he rudely told us he'd already told us and we wouldn't get anything.
23/08/2025: We found this little spot on our way to Piazza San Marco. It looked a lot more for average people than your usual tourist trap. We had espresso and cannoli at the counter, and the service was very good. They have a few tables and the atmosphere was cozy, away from the business of the outside streets.

07/09/2025: We ate pizza from here several times while we were in Sottomarina. Both at Ice & Fire - and as a take away. Every time it was a really positive experience 😀 Super good pizzas and super friendly service. (You can get 1 large pizza to share with different fillings on each half, if 2 smaller pizzas are too much). Can only recommend the place 😄
03/09/2025: A rather unpleasant Italian, just as you'd imagine them.
We don't know how to say prosciutto, so he pretends he doesn't understand anything.
And that famous jamón of discord was really not good.

Locale accogliente e atmosfera genuina come i piatti serviti che offrono sapori eccezionali nel rispetto della tradizione,presentati con maestria e ricerca . Rara carta di vini per l ambiente veneziano.. serviti con passione e personalità.
Veramente un ristorante della buona accoglienza in tutti i sensi !

14/09/2025: Terrible, icy counter staff... never a smile, always long faces, a soy macchiato with a real drop of cold soy for the price of a cappuccino. Very good at losing customers 👏 unfortunately I threw the receipt away in anger at the mockery.

It is part of the well-known Pizzalonga chain, and has been open for about ten years
after a somewhat "strange" period it has returned to being one of the best takeaway pizzas in the area
Prices a little above average but in line with the quality of the dishes
18/06/2025: For the umpteenth time a small and deformed “baby” pizza, a completely wrong pizza. 4 out of 5 times there is a flaw: raw, with a hole, wrong, deformed…
It seems to be done on purpose…. Come on, it is not possible statistically.

26/09/2025: A bar along the Venice Lido, nestled among the striking, shady pine forest. We tried chips with homemade guacamole and Rumori meatballs (always a guarantee) with cacio e pepe. Prices are a bit high, but considering you're in Venice... When it's crowded, service can be a bit slow; we found the staff rude and unsmiling. Nice outdoor seating.
02/09/2025: Absolutely disappointing. The tacos were cold, unappealing in appearance, and the meat was dry and tough. Table service and cleanliness were lacking. Overpriced. The prosecco was good. The mariachi music was pleasant.

18/10/2025: My best cozze in Venice: Fantastic. The Portuguese-style octopus was also amazing. Great value for money. Everyone was very friendly. I'd go back anytime.
16/10/2025: Frankly, Italian cuisine has lost its way.
Dishes are too peppery or too salty.
Wine by the glass is a bit lacking.
Friendly service nonetheless.

03/11/2025: There are several restaurants together; the only one worthwhile because it's cheap is the pizza with a drink for €7. It's not delicious, but acceptable.
On the other hand, the other restaurant that sells chicken, beef, pasta, lasagna, etc., is a disappointment. The food is cold and stale, and it's overpriced for a tiny portion, plus the service is terrible.

20/07/2025: You can forget about it completely. The meal came with pre-baked rolls. I've never had such a lackluster tomato and mozzarella salad at home, not to mention the bruschetta. The pasta was apparently from a convenience store, and that's exactly what it tasted like. The risotto was the worst thing I've ever eaten. And it wasn't cheap for convenience store food.

23/10/2025: We stayed at the Grand Italia Hotel, and were often there in the mornings and for aperitif time. Excellent breakfasts and aperitifs, too. A special mention goes to Valentina, the bartender, who was incredibly kind and always had a smile. Highly recommended!
14/10/2025: Great location. Aperol with side dishes for €5. Friendly service.
