10/10/2025: We cannot fully recommend the Hotel Ettoral. The hotel is also unsuitable as a base for day trips to Venice. Considering the price, the rooms and the breakfast buffet are generally fine, but we initially had a room where the air conditioning didn't work. We therefore politely asked the elderly lady at the reception desk for a room with a functioning air conditioning. The reaction was astonishing: Instead of a quick and uncomplicated room change, the employee began a general reckoning with us as guests, which culminated in a ten-minute monologue full of prejudices and unfounded insinuations, resembling an inquisition. She repeatedly lost her composure, shouted at us, and left us with an overall impression of being overwhelmed, possibly frustrated, but above all, highly unprofessional. This disconcerting experience, the reasons for which remain unclear to this day, left a lasting negative impression. Since I myself work in the hospitality industry, I felt compelled to inform the travel agent Booking/Agoda about this seemingly unstable incident.

28/12/2025: A place for everyone, especially young people and children. The way you can order from home is very convenient and excellent for those who don't want to eat healthy food. The food is very oily, hastily prepared, but beautifully decorated, and very popular with young people, especially those overweight. I ate there because I was returning from a long trip and it was very late, but my esophagus immediately realized that something bad had happened.

19/09/2025: The pizza is excellent and easy to digest, so the dough is properly leavened. The toppings are top-quality. It's my favorite takeout pizza.

11/03/2026: I was scammed by this pastry shop. I went with my Russian girlfriend. They charged me 6 euros for a cappuccino at the table when it was only 1.60 at the counter. I told the owner, but she didn't do anything. The prices vary depending on whether you're local, Italian, or foreign. It's a disgrace.

18/12/2025: Excellent service. Very good and friendly staff; they made an effort to assist us in Spanish. You can use the restrooms and eat inside or outside. I find the prices very reasonable.

02/12/2025: I spent four weeks in Venice and always had breakfast here. This is where the Venetians shop! The owner, the baker, is certainly over 80 and is always greeted very warmly by all the customers. The bakery smells wonderful! If I come back to Venice, I'll definitely go here!

04/01/2026: I was there today, two spritzes and a can of tea, 14 euros. When I exclaimed in amazement, you replied that I should remember I'm in Venice? It's better if you remember, you're not Danieli. Never again.

24/07/2025: I'm giving one star because, unfortunately, not giving one is a no-no: terrible service, terrible staff, terrible location. Rude and surly staff, small bar with little attention to detail, cups stained with lipstick and coffee smudges, broken and damaged tables, poor-quality coffee, cold lemon tea that tastes like anything but lemon tea, cappuccino with no foam but only poorly frothed milk, dirty and broken restrooms. I will never set foot in that coffee shop again.

08/03/2026: Terrible. After an hour only the bottle of water arrived. We left the restaurant without having lunch.

08/03/2026: We booked at 12:45 and ordered shortly after. The first courses arrived at 2:20, just as we were about to get up and leave. The food was acceptable, but definitely not worth the wait.

26/10/2025: Two of us went and spent €150 for food that, in my opinion, wasn't even half the price. So, I'm not complaining about the high bill, but about the quality/price ratio of the food I ate. So, you have two options: either improve the quality of the food you serve, or drastically lower the prices! Otherwise, I think you can always close down...

11/10/2025: I'm a little resentful Because after three years of going every two or three weeks, always during the week, not on busy days. Last week, we asked if we could bring our small, very calm dog, and they told me to leave him outside the restaurant. (I would have left him outside on a leash.) The thing that bothered me was that during the summer, we saw dogs inside the restaurant, even right next to our table. The staff was unfriendly, except for one middle-aged waiter who was a bit of a joker.
