Update 2026: Dinner on the beach with a relaxed atmosphere, extremely professional and attentive waitresses, peppery mussels to eat and savor down to the last spoonful, to dip in. Thanks also to the warm bread, mixed fried fish with abundant, high-quality polenta, mouth-watering. The beach kiosk lives up to its reputation, with attentive customer service and prices still in line with the products served.

03/07/2026: Let me start by saying that I'm a regular customer and have never had any complaints about the quality of the pizza, but something happened last night that made me reevaluate Pizzalonga, especially from a "human" perspective. I ordered a Margherita DOP to-go and, as you can see in the attached photo, I found a caterpillar in the pizza, probably having gotten in through the basil. These things can happen, and I didn't cause a tragedy because of it; I called the pizzeria and reported the incident. I would have expected, in addition to an apology, a refund for the pizza, or a free gift for a future order. I say this not for the money itself, but as a gesture toward the customer that I, as the manager of a restaurant-facing business, would have made. Without any intention of controversy on my part, I am writing this review as food for thought for those who run the business.

30/05/2026: I ate here several times last year, but this year I was really disappointed because the sauces aren't included with the fries and kebab. They come in small packets for 50 cents, which is shameful for such a high price. There's no paper in the bathroom, and they give you two small kitchen towels. Plus, they've removed the outdoor seating because it's so hot it's killing you.
The staff is very rude and unfriendly.
Overall, it's good, but they're cheap.

I'm giving one star only for the service, and especially for the waitress, Maria, who was incredibly rude and arrogant, even when we were taking our order, as if she were forcing us to take what she said. When we said no, she huffed and puffed, slamming down a plate with cutlery on it.

03/07/2026: A wonderful experience! Everything was absolutely delicious, with that authentic homemade flavor that truly captures the spirit of Italian cuisine. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care with which they prepare each dish.
The staff is simply exceptional: friendly, attentive, welcoming, and always willing to help. They made us feel right at home from the very first moment.
The atmosphere is cozy and very pleasant. Without a doubt, one of those places you always want to return to. Thank you so much for the excellent food, the superb service, and the genuine Italian hospitality! I recommend it 100%.
31/05/2026: An extremely disappointing experience.
The restaurant appeared neglected and poorly maintained: visible dust in several areas, numerous dead mosquitoes, and a general sense of uncleanliness made the meal decidedly unpleasant.
The service was also terrible. The waiter seemed annoyed that a tip wasn't being left, and when it came time to get the bill, we witnessed an argument about the cover charge: initially, it was €3, then, turning to a colleague, he said something along the lines of "€3 cover charge? Let's make it €4." This behavior is truly perplexing.
As for the food, the quality was well below expectations. The pizza was mediocre, with unconvincing ingredients and a flavor that was more reminiscent of a mass-produced product than a pizza made in a pizzeria.
Between the ambiance, the service, and the quality of the food, this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I won't be returning, and I don't recommend it.

06/01/2026: I visit Chioggia often with my parents, who are originally from Chioggia. I'm very saddened by the "tourist trap" that is Bacaro Morgan, which paints a bad image of this beautiful city and its inhabitants. The prices are ridiculous, the quality is terrible, the portions are tiny and don't even match the menu, and above all, the rudeness and impoliteness of the staff serving tables and even at the cash register. I'm very sorry.
06/01/2026: I don't like writing negative reviews, but, driven by the well-executed social media hype, I drove 60 km to try this place, but I couldn't find anything that was advertised. It's not a true bacaro, nor a restaurant in a fairytale location, perhaps a tourist dream. The prices aren't cheap. The food wasn't special. I'd recommend reviewing a few aspects, but if you're looking for a quick stop-and-go clientele, counting on tourism in beautiful Chioggia, then it's best to leave it alone. The waiters were friendly and helpful. It's a shame.
