The spot is lovely if you're at the tables by the water. But you do pay for it (€12 for two Cokes).

Bar Foscarini is located right next to the Academia and the Grand Canal. It's a great place for a short break or a caffè latte. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are very friendly, and the menu offers a good selection. The views of the Grand Canal and the activity around the Academia are lovely. The bar is wheelchair accessible. Highly recommended.

The location is everything. It's not really about fine dining, but more about a quick lunch. Generous bruschetta, flavorful charcuterie. A well-made Negroni, decent Spritz. Service is okay, nothing special. Go for the view, not for the price or the service.

I give it three stars for the views. Grab a table on the canal and enjoy the views. We only had coffee and wine. The cappacino was ok but the white wine was warm and not a better Soave. What sunk the score for us was the obvious attitude from the staff.

Unbeaten views & not too expensive. Careful of the pigeons, they come from the bridge right onto your table! Was a little annoying batting them away every couple of minutes, but nevertheless we had a good time watching the world go by

Fabulous setting on the Grand Canal. Only had pizza and sandwich but very tasty and reasonably priced given the location. Staff very helpful
