This place was chosen only because of the beautiful view and nothing more. Prices are too high. Service is so-so. Aperol is delicious, costs 8 euros

Beautiful view and very pleasant service. Food for 4, the fish soup was fine, the appetizers and pasta weren't bad but nothing to wow.

Best coffee with a view. I sat on the terrace, in front of the canals and enjoyed a delicious cappuccino. Honestly, a remarkable experience.

When in Venice it pays to review the menu prices before stopping by a restaurant or bar. In an unguarded moment you may be presented with an eye-watering bill. As the prices of Foscarini were somewhat less than eye-watering and the setting of the outdoor tables at the foot of Accademia Bridge seemed nice, we decided to have a beer and a tramezzino. We never regretted the decision. The table at the waterfront of Canal Grande, almost under Accademia Bridge turned out to be a magic spot. The beer was cold, the tramezzino delicious, friendly service and a stunning view over the Canal Grande. And the bill? Oh, forget about the bill. Foscarini presides over a magic spot at the Canal Grande. A five point rating.
