26/07/2024: Average place and nothing exceptional quality. I also happened to see a very ugly scene on THURSDAY 25 JULY MORNING: a blonde lady who treated one of her colleagues very badly in front of customers, one word: SHAME! ! !

26/07/2024: I witnessed a shameful scene. The blonde lady from the staff scolded, for trivial things, one of her colleagues rudely shouted out loud and in front of the customers (there were 6 of us). Little professionalism and a lot of malice!!!!

05/10/2024: Be careful. Tourists trap! Pizza was poor, beer cost 11 euro!!! Not good. Will not recommend it to anyone!!!

07/08/2024: Do not eat here. Staff constantly pushing extra bread, wine and dessert for you to buy no matter how many times you say no. When you are ready for your check the wait staff will tell you no until you have denied ordering dessert several times. On top of that, the carbonara was one of the worst I’ve had in Italy. At least the melon & prosciutto was fresh but way overpriced. Please is expense with a terrible wait staff.

25/12/2024: When we arrived at the hotel, we immediately had to pay the tourist tax, even though we didn't even check in. The lady at reception is grumpy/unfriendly and we were given room #97, next to a public toilet. The room looks like a storage room, is dark, stuffy, musty and musty. You almost couldn't breathe. Even though it has windows, you can't open them. It looks completely different than the three-bed room that was promised to us when we reserved it online. The room is on the ground floor and we even heard people walking by talking! When I asked the lady if I could have another room on the upper floors, she said no. Only tomorrow could we see what would be free. In the room we found green plastic sheets scattered on the floor (at least 4 of them). There was a plastic bag full of materials behind the front door. There was still hair under the pillow. These images created an unclean room for us when there is still rubbish lying around and the room is not cleaned. The phone didn't work and was just an illusion. The lady said that an electrician had been called for a long time ago, but he still hasn't come. What an excuse! The mirror in the shower is rusted and toiletries are missing. The air vent in the shower is very loud and you can see mold spots on the ceiling. The toilet flush only worked partially; only after flushing 2-3 times did the toilet flush properly. We couldn't stay in this dilapidated room for one night. We immediately found another much better and high-quality 3-star hotel and moved that same day. The pictures shown on Booking.com promised a lot and looked much brighter. But in reality we received a storage room! It's not humane to stay there and it's a disgrace for the hotel to offer such a room to guests! On top of that, all the ladies at reception are very unfriendly. They seem to know but do nothing. Despite complaints to Booking.com and the hotel itself, we did not receive a refund for the accommodation costs. Booking.com only paid us a small amount as goodwill. But the hotel manager no longer followed up on the whole complaint, as we were promised on the phone. That's why I advise everyone not to book with this hotel. The other 3-star hotel that we subsequently booked on site kindly agreed to it straight away and is only 3-6 minutes away. For those looking for a clean and familiar hotel with good and friendly service, I can highly recommend Hotel Da Bruno.

13/04/2024: I stayed at this inn for two weeks for work purposes. I can say that regarding the food I have nothing to say, in fact everything was very good and plentiful. But I can't say the same about the service and management of the place and the rooms. I travel for work throughout Italy and the world and I want to say firmly that this place is the worst I have ever been to in 20 years of travel, the worst thing is the owner, who has inadequate behavior and the cleanliness who knows a lot about wish, considering that animals staying inside a restaurant are not permitted

22/03/2024: The best...!strange lunch yesterday 24th November I entered the black rooster restaurant. while a dog comes out of the kitchen licking his chops they ask me how many of us there are...2 are preparing to re-prepare the table for me so they change the tablecloth which after opening it you can see that it's very dirty they take another dirty one explaining to me that they wash it "do it yourself" they only serve tap water I ask for mineral water there isn't any I ask for a drink, don't they have...beer? ok in a can ok they arrive with a 7.50 ml Coke. the plastic bottle was open and out of gas... who knows how long... we order spaghetti carbonara which arrives immediately... not with bacon, not even with bacon. ...maybe mortadella...cotechino with mashed potatoes (strictly powdered) (while the dog comes and goes from the kitchen) and the staff is not equipped with caps or gloves or aprons of any colour...but dressed in blue overalls, clogs and hair in the wind..they served me a heated cotechino washed out without peel with 2 slices of defrosted aubergines full of oil.27 euros low price but with even lower material...HHCP what is it.... ?

03/12/2024: Horrible experience of a clearly touristic place out to get your money. Charged a clearly illegal extra "servizzio" while trying to hide that by bringing a folded up receipt showing only the total sum. Unashamedly asked for a tip on top of that! Food mediocre. I've been going to this restaurant for the past 25 years. This is a disgrace of its own past!

30/11/2024: Consigliato da amici veneziani siamo entrati con le migliori aspettative. il menù plastificato è stato il benvenuto. Antipasto della casa pessimo. Coda di rospo e granceola accettabili. L’unico aspetto gentile è stato il cameriere che a causa di un malinteso si è rivelato molto gentile. Comunque non lo consiglierei

06/12/2024: Sulla qualità e bontà della pizza niente da dire, ottima! Ma datevi una calmata con i prezzi! Coperto Euro 3,00 cadauno, 1 litro di naturale Euro 3,50, una bionda piccola Euro 4,50.. per una prosciutto e funghi, una romana (acciughe), un litro di acqua, una bionda piccola e un tiramisù abbiamo pagato Euro 41,00! Scandaloso!!!

07/01/2025: First visiting Venezia, first having pizza and cannolo in this town. We had a wonderful experience! This place provides halal options for pizzas and pasta, which are written on the menu. We got a pizza. We also got one cannolo. The waiter, happening to be a Muslim as well, ensured that our choices were halal. The funghi pizza was humble yet sublime; the cannolo was at the sweet spot of crunch and sweetness!

03/12/2024: I give it one star because you can't give it less. You see the menu and they don't even have a quarter of it, the food is scarce because they serve you, cold, little, with little flavor and very expensive for what you eat, I don't recommend it to anyone if I go back to Venice I won't go in.

27/11/2024: Great place for a Breakfast! We discovered this place next to the theatre on our walk in the morning, we entered for a Breakfast and it was totally worth it! Very nice panini, excellent espresso and cappuccino. The selection of sandwiches and croissants they have was out of this world. You have to try both sweat and normal food in this restaurant / pasticceria. Totally worth a visit

24/11/2024: If you like being welcomed in a neglected place with an unpleasant smell of neglected toilets, paying 14 euros for two sachets of infusion and being served by an unfriendly waiter, take a seat. Otherwise choose something else.

31/08/2024: Amazing place with an amazing menu. Love grabbing a cappuccino and there waffle with nutella! Salads are stellar! Definitely a place for any occasion.

26/08/2024: Nice little restaurant, with reasonably priced food away from the major crowds. Friendly service and outdoor seating which is a plus (on the service part). My husband enjoyed his seafood pasta, they brought him a bread basket as well. The pizza was okay, hard to mess up a Margherita pizza. It was close to our little hotel which was nice, and never seemed overly crowded but crowded enough to know the food was good. The desserts they had out and I saw some kids eating looked really good!

04/08/2024: Apprezzo lo sforzo ma ormai scarichi e stanchi, consiglio aggiornamento in cucina e molto probabilmente tecnologia. Si lamentano del fatto che non viene più molta gente a Venezia e attribuisce la colpa agli albergatori e agli affitta camera che applicano prezzi folli per dormire e quindi la gente non ha soldi per il ristorante...non ha tutti i torti sui prezzi dei pernottamenti ma anche i ristoratori hanno le loro colpe, 5€ per una bottiglia di plastica da 750ml, una specie di spaghetto alle vongole di bassa qualità a 15€...ecc, e questo è uno dei più economici, una margherita improbabile a 12/14€, quando a Napoli che non ha nulla da invidiare a Venezia e la pizza è il massimo, 4/4,5€ e vi assicuro che ci guadagnano...dovete scendere dal piedistallo e aggiornarvi se volete un futuro altrimenti chiuderete in molti... Venezia è bella, romantica e affascinante ma non abbiamo più l'anello al naso e quelli con gli yacht sono pochi e sparsi per il mondo..anche i gondolieri devono mettere i piedi "per terra"....😉 Poi un tantino di pulizia e attenzione in più non guasterebbe.

03/08/2024: I don't understand how this doesn't have a higher rating because the food was incredible. Very authentic Italian and the service is just spot on feels like family.
