18/04/2026: I don't know what happened. It was a very pleasant place when I was a student. Now we've ordered two spritzes, Aperol and water and ice, Select and vodka. Nothing drinkable. What a shame. They've destroyed a magnificent place.

24/03/2026: I was here with my tour group. You can sit not only inside the restaurant, but also outside or in the garden when the weather is nice. Very friendly staff. I'd gladly come again.

20/04/2026: We came here on every trip to Venice, after a local friend recommended it. On previous four occasions, we were always happy with the food. The fiori di zucca and the fish of the day were stand-outs. The amuse bouche to start the meal is also always delicious. This time, unfortunately, both of the pasta dishes were severely over-salted (even my cousin who generally uses too much salt said they were too salty!). We pointed that out, but because we ate more of the one pasta (before we concluded it wasn't worth suffering through all that salt and stopped) and barely touched the second (after we tasted it and it was just as salty as the first and we already had too much salt for one meal), the waiter focused on that second pasta and said it was supposed to be salty (with smoked cheese). I pointed out (all in Italian) that both pastas were too salty, not just that one, and that we had had pastas here before and they were never that salty. At the end, the manager brought the check, said they didn't count one of the two pastas, but that it was "good" and not overly salty at all. That kind of attitude of "we'll make an exception and take it off your check but tourists don't know what pasta should taste like" is why we sadly won't come back. Four guests all thought both of the pastas were overly salty, so it was impolite for the manager to claim they were not. (And some of us have been to Venice 10+ times and are frequent travelers in Italy, so not ignorant tourists.) Sadly, this ruined our previously positive opinion of this restaurant. 5 stars for the fish of the day, amuse bouche and previous experiences, 1 star for the over-salted pastas and service. Rating it 3 overall.

10/04/2026: Far too expensive, very poor value for money, most dishes are €28/30, a glass of wine is €10 and the service is more than cold, in short….

18/11/2025: I booked a table for Sunday dinner through the app the restaurant is registered with, but the restaurant was closed without any notice or sign. Any problem can happen, I thought, but reading other reviews, it's quite normal and frequent. So if you want to go to this restaurant, once you've booked through the app, be sure to call to find out if it's actually open. It's a shame because I was curious to try it, but I hope I get to.

08/04/2026: The food is good, but I don't understand how they can leave two people at the counter, sometimes even one, who has to serve, make coffees, and also manage the cash register. Every time you have to wait at least 5-10 minutes to pay at the register. I understand that sometimes there are more customers and you can wait, but the wait time here is really excessive.

11/11/2025: A friendly atmosphere prevailed throughout the lunch service, despite the obvious tiredness. Their smiles were always there. The kitchen was well-organized with reasonable wait times, and the menu offered a choice of vegetarian, fish, and other options. The various cicchetti and pancakes with grilled vegetables were very good. Well done. I will gladly return.

03/04/2026: Despite the bad reviews, I decided to stay one night in the 50 sq m suite, partly because of the good price. I didn't have high expectations. The room was quite old, smelled of stale cigarette smoke, and there was a beer bottle and a full ashtray left behind by the previous guest (or whoever it was). The bathtub and kitchen were off-limits. On the plus side, the breakfast was a pleasant surprise, and the staff (including the owner) were very friendly. Parking was available right in front of the hotel, and it was practically right on the beach and the main shopping street.

12/04/2026: Hello, just so you know, the welcome drink and toast are not included! They cost €3 per person even if you don't drink them! And there's no way around it, they charge for them.

09/04/2026: They have enough food for 60 diners, and instead of opening the other part of the dining room, they usher you in there as if you were eating at everyone else's table. The food is expensive and poor quality. I recommend buying a pizza from the supermarket instead, as the one we ordered (Diabola) had chewy mozzarella and low-quality salami. And the lasagna? I won't even mention it 🤦‍♂️

09/05/2026: The location is generally quite nice, right by the canal. The pizza was okay, however, I found the staff very unfriendly at times. Because of this, I wouldn't go there again.

09/05/2026: We just stopped in for a lemoncello spritz, and paid 17 euros for two Bacalas. The food we ordered next door was large in portions.
