21/08/2025: I had an excellent experience at this pizza restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the flavors were perfect. The staff were very kind, friendly, and welcoming, which made the visit even better. Everything from the taste to the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great pizza and a pleasant atmosphere

13/01/2026: This is a complicated place. A tourist trap and a hidden gem at the same time. We just went to the counter to order coffee and enjoyed it inside the bar. The coffee was excellent and prices reasonable.
03/01/2026: I was astonished by the boldness of the staff behind the counter. They asked us to take our cups back to the counter!! Commenting on how we should learn from foreigners! Absurd! But I say...do you know that the customer pays your salary? In Piazza San Marco??? I await an explanation. With an attitude like that, the future is beyond uncertain...

14/09/2025: Tastes very good. Unfortunately, they don't serve pasta, but they do serve delicious pizza, and the waiter even speaks German.
09/09/2025: Service was inattentive. We booked, asking to be away from smokers and the sun. We arrived and our table was at the entrance, where they smoked in the garden.
The ceiling is semi-transparent, bringing heat into the restaurant.
The spaghetti with seafood was decent, but the tagliatelle with shrimp was poor.
Be careful! A half-liter of wine in a carafe costs €7.
You have to ask several times to get a new bread basket.

05/01/2026: Carefully selected ombre, top-notch cicchetti, and a friendly atmosphere! We stumbled upon this bacaro by chance, and after trying it several times around Vebezia6, we can safely say it's our favorite. Thanks to Puppa, and greetings from Jimmy the Tuscan and company.
04/01/2026: The experience was disappointing because of the bartender who was not welcoming at all and seemed annoyed when we entered the bar. A friendly attitude goes a long way especially in a bar

19/06/2025: Eravamo alla ricerca di un locale tipico e abbiamo scelto in base alle recensioni. Il locale è situato di fronte alla stazione di questo piccolo paesino. Esternamente non si capisce quanto sia accogliente e curato all’interno. Il menù propone piatti interessanti. Tutto quello che abbiamo provato (spaghetti alle vongole, gnocchi con ragù di germano, zuppa di cozze) era molto buono e le porzioni abbondanti. Siamo stati coccolati con altri ottimi assaggi e l’attenzione dell’oste. Tovagliato di stoffa. Ci siamo trovati molto bene.

21/12/2025: We stopped here for the first time because we were passing through, and on a Sunday morning there aren't any places to stop for breakfast on that stretch of Romea.
Let's say that at ten in the morning, you think you can still smell the fresh croissants, but instead you find yourself with a stall full of cicchetti accompanied by the smell of fish (which I think they were happy to see), accompanied by glasses of wine, which is fitting because every area has its own customs.

I’m glad I was only here for two days, as I wouldn’t have been able to bear any more-the beds aren’t great, luggage access is poor (you have to use stairs to get up the elevator), and the breakfast isn’t… great. But hey, that’s just like, my experience, man

16/07/2025: So so gelato and terrible staff. We were asked to leave or "buy at least coffee" if we wanted to sit at the table. Waitress told us there was a printed card with "the rules". There were like 5 bloody cards, mostly in italian and german. Sorry I didn't waste my time to read and translate them all before making a bloody order. Btw. the place was literally empty so it's not like we would take somebody's place.
EDIT: And yet, you're still trying to lecture me. In case you didn't get it- my review isn't about the policy, it's about way of communication. Let that sink in.
11/07/2025: We bought ice cream for our kids and sat down at the small table with chairs outside the café. Even though the place was completely empty and no customers were eating there, we were told we couldn’t stay and had to leave because we weren’t allowed to eat the ice cream there. Very unwelcoming and disappointing experience. Would not recommend.
