14/10/2025: What can I say? You sit down and see before you what the whole world envies, what Napoleon wanted for himself. Plus, live music, fast and courteous staff... and it's not that expensive considering the whole setting. I recommend the one-of-a-kind "quadri" pizza!
14/10/2025: We came here after visiting the Basilica & Doges palace. The sun was out, and it was our 20th wedding anniversary so we decided to spend a little extra and enjoy the atmosphere of St Marks square! We spent a few hours here and it was nice just to relax and watch the world go by! The live music was very pleasant in the background, it's not cheap but worth paying for the experience.

03/06/2025: Not living in Gazzera, we are "occasional" customers, but every time we find confirmation of an attentive and kind service. The quality is guaranteed as well as the embarrassment of choice in the pastry shop! It is rare to find all these characteristics together, and this explains why there are always people. Congratulations!

15/10/2025: TL;DR: It's fine for a night or two.
Very convenient location by the sea and parking available. The rooms are a bit dated, but for the price (50 a night for two), it's more than adequate.
The only downside is the shower in front of the toilet, but for the price, you're happy with it.
Also, the breakfast buffet (included) was plentiful and of much higher quality than we expected given the price per night.
17/09/2025: The hotel is dated but clean. The breakfast is plentiful, both sweet and savory. The staff is very attentive to your every need. The price is fair considering that parking and the beach are included. It is also located near the square, and there are plenty of restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, and shops of all kinds to choose from.

27/10/2025: Terrible service and wait times
We ordered takeout pizzas and were told they would be ready at 8:00 PM.
At delivery time, we showed up to pick them up. We were charged and told nothing.
At 8:25 PM, the pizzas still weren't ready. We asked how long it would take and were told 10 minutes. I'll cut the story short. At 9:10 PM, they gave us the pizzas, without even an apology.
P.S. This isn't the first time pizzas have been delivered significantly late without warning.
26/10/2025: If it's true that a good pizzeria is judged by its ability to make a Margherita pizza, then this is not a good one.
The sauce and mozzarella are both poor in quantity and quality, among the worst I've eaten despite the price being slightly above average.
On the plus side, I can say the wait times are very short.

14/09/2025: The pizza is good, but it's a shame they charge a whopping €5.50 extra for gluten-free dough (which isn't even listed on the menu), making a Margherita a whopping €11. Other pizzerias (not even takeout, by the way) charge a maximum of €2-3 extra. Having intolerances is a necessity, not a luxury. I'm sorry, but that's just not the way it is. It's a shame because I have a pizzeria right behind my house, and it's good, too.
04/09/2025: Ordered a pizza at 6:30 PM (not during peak business hours) and it was completely burned. The pizzeria offered to remake it. They could have been careful while making it so the customer didn't come back for it.

Spaghetti with mussels was rather average.
One of the few restaurants open in the early evening in October.
10/10/2025: The personality of the owner, the background music and the quality and excellence of my meal (Tagliata di tonno pinna gialla...) made this dinner to an unforgettable event for me. This almost certainly has something to do with the date of my visit here. It was a great time to relax and enjoy. Life is so good.

08/08/2025: We're on vacation in Venice Lido. I'm celiac, and we were looking for a pizzeria that offered a dinner option, and we found this one. Everything was absolutely fantastic, with a very good pizza. They also offered me the option of a gluten-free tiramisu, which I didn't have, and it was also very good. I highly recommend it. The blonde girl who served us was super friendly. Thank you so much for everything. See you soon.
11/06/2025: Great atmosphere, food, pizza and hospitality. Excellent as always for many years.

Rude and arrogant staff, rudely kicked out by the staff because the four of us were occupying two small tables and four chairs.
This incident occurred around 12:00 AM when there was no one else around or at the bar.
As a Google Local Guide, I strongly advise against visiting this bar.
25/04/2025: Locale bello e tranquillo per due chiacchiere tra amici, servizio eccellente e ottimo spritz. Si sta bene all' interno come all' esterno nella centrale Corso del Sole.

Meriterebbe la bocciatura ma l'indulgenza nasce dalla bruttezza irreversibile del locale, dalla buona scelta dei vini e dalla griglia
14/07/2025: Finalmente una cucina di quelle che piacciono a me,nata e cresciuta da queste parti e trapiantata a Torino, sincera e senza troppi fronzoli ,in cui la freschezza del pesce e l'abilità nel trattare la materia prima la fanno da padrona. Nota di merito alla grigliata di pesce con anguilla fatta alla brace semplicemente squisita!! Prezzo onestissimo in relazione alla qualità. Personale attento,gentile e simpatico.
Ci tornerò sicuramente la prossima volta che sarò da queste parti.

06/09/2025: This bar has always been a go-to place for a quick break. However, I find that recently charging $2.50 for a cappuccino is excessive and inappropriate (we're not even that far away).

06/05/2025: Hier ist wirklich jeder Gast willkommen, wir waren erst etwas verunsichert, da alles sehr schick wirkte und wir eher leger gekleidet waren. Zu keiner Zeit hatten wir den Eindruck, dass wir anderst behandelt werden, wie die anderen Gäste. Der Service war top, sie haben uns sehr gut beraten und waren super freundlich. Die Küche macht einen top Job, alles sehr frisch, und sehr schmackhaft. Die hausgemachten Desserts sind unglaublich lecker.
07/04/2025: The location isn't ideal, but it's not far from the main attractions in the area, easily accessible on a day trip. Clean rooms, a reasonably comfortable bed, and a small but clean bathroom. A highlight was the breakfast, with a wide selection and plenty of choice. The waitstaff was helpful and attentive to any allergies or intolerances. The reception was helpful and courteous.
