05/06/2026: The food was good; we had a cheeseburger and fried squid. The portions were generous. Despite the large number of customers, the service was quite fast, but seemed a bit overwhelmed, probably due to staff shortages. The outdoor terrace is pleasant and comfortable even in warm weather thanks to the parasols. We especially enjoyed the tiramisu and the espresso. The prices are a bit high. Overall, a nice visit.

28/10/2025: One evening we stopped at this Secret Garden/Balican Lovedrink&Cuisine bar in the center of Jesolo. I asked the waitress if that particular drink was spicy because of the ginger. The obviously inexperienced waitress didn't ask me and replied that it was one of the sweetest ones. I trusted the waitress and ordered that drink. When the waitress arrived with the tray containing the two drinks, she knocked them over and poured them all over me. So she remade them and brought them back to our table. I tasted it, and it was super spicy. Of two people, neither of us could drink it because it was so hot. So I informed the same waitress, pointing out that it was spicy and that neither of us could drink it, so she brought it back practically full. When he got to the cash register without having informed his superior of the mess he had made, 1 non-alcoholic drink and 1 spicy alcoholic drink not consumed, 22 euros, a robbery practically due to an error by their staff, the customers lose out, terrible experience, I do not recommend it to anyone, waitress not serious, inexperienced, rude and not even honest.

04/07/2026: Friendly and welcoming, the gelato was good, although it was better under the previous management. It's a place with a soul, where you can stop and spend some quality time in good company, in a timeless setting that maintains its own charm. However, I must say that it's become expensive; the gelato and pastries are a bit too expensive, whereas here it used to be highly regarded, not only for its quality but also for its reasonable prices. This is also important these days; they'd be packed with better prices.

25/06/2026: A place where you can enjoy authentic local food at an affordable price! Friendly and cute staff, and a proper tiramisu (much tastier than the one I had on the main island of Venice). I recommend this place as a restaurant near Camping Serenissima! It only takes two bus stops, so it's worth the trip.

10/06/2026: I'm not usually one to write a negative review quickly. However, in this case, I'd like to share my experience. Before our arrival, we were informed via email that check-in would be possible from 12:00 PM. Upon arrival, however, we were told that we couldn't check in until 1:00 PM. We had booked a room with a sea view, but were initially given one of the smallest rooms in the hotel. From the balcony, we mostly looked out onto the run-down back of the hotel complex. While the front is renovated and attractive, the back unfortunately makes a much worse impression. What was particularly bothersome was that our room was connected to the neighboring room by a thin wooden door. You could even see directly into the neighbors' room through the keyhole, which, in our opinion, was a significant problem in terms of privacy and comfort. Furthermore, the air conditioning wasn't working. Only after inquiring at reception were we informed that it wouldn't be switched on until mid- to late July. We hadn't been informed of this beforehand. The same applied to the pool, which wasn't scheduled to open until August. This information was also not available before booking. When we subsequently asked for a different room at reception, we were initially told that no other room was available and that we would have to wait until the next day. Later, the hotel management joined us, and a lengthy discussion ensued, as we were considering leaving early due to the circumstances. After some time, we finally received one of the "best" rooms in the hotel – a room that actually corresponded to the category we had originally booked. Unfortunately, the buffet also failed to impress us. The selection was neither particularly vegan-, vegetarian-, nor Muslim-friendly. Butter was the only spread offered. The toppings consisted solely of cheese, two types of salami, and one type of turkey breast, all served with the same tongs. Egg dishes were also usually served with ham. On a positive note, I would like to commend the hotel's cleanliness. The rooms and common areas were always very well maintained. Overall, however, the price-performance ratio did not meet our expectations. Based on our experience, we unfortunately would not recommend this hotel.

04/06/2026: It was a disaster, no air conditioning, and the youth had double beds. The check-in process was excruciating, making them feel like criminals.

08/07/2026: This is a complete tourist trap. They refused to make any changes to the menu and became incredibly rude because their order didn't go according to plan. We got up and left, and the situation escalated before we left! Two restaurants down, same order = our wishes were fulfilled 100%! Even though it doesn't have 800,000 reviews!

08/07/2026: They forgot about our order and we were waiting for 30 minutes and after that I reminded about us. They didn't even apologize for that. However the food is great and portions are quite big.

13/05/2026: Plenty of tables, fast service, average food, a typical "trattoria" for a work lunch break. I've never tried the pizza, but it's recommended by many of the Mattone regulars. The atmosphere is also great for large crowds.

05/06/2026: A terrible experience, to say the least. I ordered sea bass with steamed vegetables, but the waiter told me to ask the kitchen if it was available. Two minutes later, I was told no, so I decided to order pasta with asparagus and pancetta. Everything else at the table arrived except mine. While everyone else had finished eating, half an hour later, we asked what had happened to my dish and were told it was on its way. Another 15 minutes passed, so I told the waiter he couldn't bring it to me, but he told me it would be out in two minutes. We waited another 15 minutes and then decided to get up and leave. The dish arrived, and I politely asked him to put it away so I could take it home. I didn't even receive an apology or a discount after the incident. At least they didn't charge me €1 for takeout. Terrible.

05/05/2026: I went for dinner last week. There were eight of us, including a young man with lactose intolerance, who immediately informed the waiter of the situation. He was confirmed that a pizza with rice mozzarella was available, which he ordered. After an hour or so of waiting, we received the pizzas, and the man immediately noticed that the mozzarella on his pizza wasn't rice mozzarella. After a few complaints and confirmation that it was indeed rice mozzarella, he was convinced, ending up having an allergy attack an hour later. I don't recommend it, especially for those with dietary restrictions that can lead to unpleasant incidents. Furthermore, once at the register, we asked to pay separately and were refused. Despite it being clear we were having difficulty, they didn't help us.
