23/04/2025: I never thought I could have bad pizza in Italy until I came to this restaurant. The worst Margherita Pizza I had anywhere in the world. I could taste the raw dough in my mouth. There was absolutely no flavour. Clearly this Chinese or Japanese owner have not mastered the craft of making good Italian pizza. I suggest they get someone Italian to make the pizza for them.

07/09/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant, located in the center of Chioggia along the canal. It's a very beautiful and well-maintained restaurant in a stunning location. The dishes are carefully prepared and delicious, with the fish definitely fresh. The service, however, could use some updating. The staff was kind, but they moved us because the kitchen staff was passing by, even though the waitress hadn't said anything before. After bringing us drinks, another waitress came over and asked if we had a reservation. It takes ages to bring the dishes... but instead, they take them away while you're still eating. Two and a half hours for an appetizer and two main courses. We went elsewhere for dessert, otherwise we'd have had to wait another hour.

26/08/2025: Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. The food was good, but the grilled fish selection was very limited, making it all the more expensive. The service was also not particularly attentive and even less than attentive. It's a shame we spent our last evening in Chioggia there.

31/05/2025: Be extremely cautious with this place—especially if you’re a foreign tourist. They seem to take advantage of language barriers and the fact that visitors may not be able to assert their consumer rights as confidently as they would in their home countries. We were a group of five friends. Everything seemed fine when we ordered, but then we were served a lasagna with overcooked, soggy pasta, and what were honestly the worst bruschettas we’ve ever had—soft bread topped with chopped tomatoes, lacking any flavor or texture. BUT THE WORST WAS YET TO COME. When it came time to pay, we were suddenly told that individual payments were not allowed. The bill could only be split into two equal parts, and this applied whether paying by card or even in cash—unless we had the exact amount, as they refused to give change. Let me be clear: no one informed us of this so-called “internal policy” before we ordered. One staff member—who later introduced himself as the “manager”—raised his voice and told us we had to “figure it out among ourselves” because they would not accept separate payments, even though we were paying with regular euros. He even mocked us, asking “What century do you live in?”, as if we were being unreasonable, when in fact, their rigid system is outdated and customer-hostile. I speak five world languages and have traveled across all five continents. Never—not even in other cities in Italy—have I encountered such an unprofessional and disrespectful experience. After the incident, I consulted my Italian lawyer, who confirmed that while restaurants in Italy may impose limits on how bills are split, this must be clearly communicated beforehand—before the order is placed. If this information is only disclosed at the end, the practice may be considered unfair or lacking transparency, in violation of the Italian Consumer Code. Furthermore, if there is embarrassment, pressure, or refusal to accept fair and lawful payment, the establishment may incur civil liability and be subject to formal complaint. In fact, even the restaurant’s website (accessed today) says absolutely nothing about this specific payment policy. I’m still considering whether to file a formal complaint with the country’s official tourism authorities.

21/05/2025: Excelente lugar, la pasta deliciosa y el servicio muy bueno. Precio vs producto de 💯 . Muy rico, super recomendable!! No se lo pierdan !!

07/09/2025: The portions were really small. It seemed like they needed to cut corners on the products. But people pay and want to be satisfied. They gave me a receipt and I realized they'd charged me €10.80 for unused wine and water. They apologized, but what if I hadn't noticed?

06/09/2025: We were there with friends. The food was fresh and simple, the service was friendly, and all in all, it's a place you'll want to visit again and again.

28/08/2025: We always try to frequent true local restaurants when we’re traveling however the extremely rude owner of this restaurant refused us service as soon as he saw we were foreigners and not locals. We had called ahead and made a reservation and when we arrived he refused to seat us and was extremely rude to us. This is not a place I would recommend to other travelers. It was the worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant anywhere in Italy. Extremely disappointing.

25/07/2025: Honestly, I have no opinion other than the wine, which is well-priced and of decent quality, but it's strange that I didn't have the opportunity to eat since there were sandwiches in the display case and half a huge wheel of cheese. At my perplexed look, the lady kindly invited me to cook at home, a shame I'm a tourist from the South, over a thousand kilometers from my home and the kitchen. I was left somewhat perplexed, disappointed, and hungry.

19/06/2025: I ordered 1 Tirolese pizza and 1 tiramisu. The pizza wasn't too bad although a little too salty. What can I say about the tiramisu... I received the dessert still vacuum-packed and still frozen... especially since with this tiramisu the restaurant is supposed to add chocolate powder on top and in fact it wasn't there. I had time to eat my pizza and it still hadn't defrosted so I had to wait another 20 minutes...

05/09/2025: Excellent breakfast! The croissants are truly delicious, fresh from the bakery and not frozen, a rare find in Caorle and absolutely on par with the best pastry shops. I've been frequenting this kiosk since I was little, and it's always a guaranteed success. The staff is kind and welcoming, and if you have a dog, they'll be pampered with biscuits and lots of love. Prices are fair and in line with those in Caorle. Highly recommended!

28/07/2025: Pasta allo scoglio was plentiful, but the quantity alone wasn't enough... There were mussels and scallops, but only the empty shells... Everything was mixed together, a great mess of fish all mixed together.

04/09/2025: Ordered a pizza at 6:30 PM (not during peak business hours) and it was completely burned. The pizzeria offered to remake it. They could have been careful while making it so the customer didn't come back for it.
