After the recent reopening, La Sosta has resumed serving excellent ice cream sundaes, as per tradition, at fair prices with outdoor and indoor seating.

Excellent ice cream and good food

I had the "spicy" club sandwich, which was excellent. I'll be back to try the brioches, which were very tempting, especially the chocolate one. The staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Prices are too high for a bar/ice cream shop in a neighborhood that, fortunately, is still popular. It reopened under new management, which is a positive thing.

We stopped at this café for breakfast and immediately felt welcome. The atmosphere is truly charming and welcoming, with a lovely outdoor courtyard where it's a lovely place to sit and start the day at a leisurely pace. There's a good selection of pastries, and I was happy to find some gluten-free cookies as well. The coffee is excellent, and the lady who welcomed us was truly kind, smiling, and hospitable. A place that puts you in a good mood, and we'd love to return!

We returned after a while, they've changed management but the club sandwich is still good, the pink sauce served in paper boats needs fixing. Anyway, everything was good.

Be careful, this is a historic location, but it's under new management with very high prices (even more so at the table... 2 macchiatos + 2 brioches = 9 euros). We're on Viale San Marco in Mestre, in a place that hasn't been renovated, not in Paris, for goodness sake.

Friendly and welcoming, the gelato was good, although it was better under the previous management. It's a place with a soul, where you can stop and spend some quality time in good company, in a timeless setting that maintains its own charm. However, I must say that it's become expensive; the gelato and pastries are a bit too expensive, whereas here it used to be highly regarded, not only for its quality but also for its reasonable prices. This is also important these days; they'd be packed with better prices.
