09/08/2025: The place is stuck at 60. Surreal

09/07/2025: Everything, except the modern chairs, is reminiscent of a trattoria from the 60s and 70s. The mess at the entrance is just decorative, but not annoying. 🤷🏻 Walls with really dated paint, with cobwebs everywhere.... This also serves as decor and makes the place look antique. 🤔 Sturdy tables of unique beauty. 👍 If they served water in ceramic jugs instead of plastic bottles, it would be wonderful. Only thing: at 1:00 PM, a filthy bathroom with an unpleasant smell, and that's not antiquity... 😔 Price: for 1 liter of water, tagliatelle with meat sauce, cotoletta alla petroniana with side dish, a coffee and bread/cover charge €25.00, a bit pricey for lunch 💸

28/09/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant. The waitress smiled unforcedly, looking like her cat had died. We ordered eight starters, four of which arrived on time, while the other four arrived 30 minutes later (we had to eat in shifts). We didn't even get an apology or a discount, they simply pretended nothing had happened, even after several complaints and requests. The tiramisu was good, but it wasn't tiramisu. The cream wasn't mascarpone; it almost tasted like pudding, and it had at least half a centimeter of bitter cocoa on top. It was good, but it should be mentioned on the menu. Overall, the food was good, but the staff was not. If we were to be in the area again, we wouldn't return.

08/12/2025: An excellent lunch at a fair price

01/12/2025: Unfortunately, we ordered 2 risottos with fish and courgettes... apart from the courgettes which were cut to the size of an ant, the prawns, only these fish ones, in one dish there were only 2, I say number 2, and that's it... the other portion had 5... luckily... but I say, a restaurant where fresh fish is well-regarded, should have added a dose of about 6 on top of the rice to at least show the fish...

12/09/2025: This clean and quiet hotel is just steps from the beach. The owners were friendly and helpful, ready to accommodate our needs. Recommended.

28/08/2025: Very good value for money. You know what you're paying for, and you get it right. You can't ask for more. It's a very simple B&B with an adjoining public bar. Very convenient location. Family-run. Very friendly and welcoming family. Well done.

09/11/2025: We stopped for the sweet music outside the place, but we also discovered the kindness and helpfulness of the owners with very good products. If you're in the area, stop by, it's worth it, thanks for everything. 😇

14/12/2025: Never again did I wait an hour for two pizzas.... They delivered them first to those who arrived after me, only after asking how much longer they still had, perhaps they remembered I was right in front of them.... The Kamut pizza is forgettable; the regular one would have been fine.

01/11/2025: Just stopped here to grab an afternoon Cappuccino, was pleased to see that they had non-dairy milk options to pick from. By far the most reasonably priced coffee I had in Venice. It was also one of the better coffees I had in my time here. Vibes were nice, sitting right in front of a canal / square.

25/06/2025: Took the pistachio and chocolate mini cannolis. Both were delicious and perfectly crispy! The chocolate inside the cannoli tasted like Nutella but better. Each cannoli was €0.75, which are great prices compared to the overpriced Venice cannolis. Both cannolis were just perfect, there’s no other way to describe them!

20/10/2025: They specialize in the daily menu, offering decent seafood dishes with local recipes at reasonable prices for those of us who are always on the go. I find myself there whenever I'm in the area, with colleagues who choose the same restaurant for lunch. There's ample parking and the service is very fast, even when it's busy (almost always). Carlo is a force to be reckoned with.

14/10/2025: Four of us for lunch. The fish was incredibly fresh, everything was delicious from appetizer to dessert. Excellent service with detailed explanations from a very friendly man. Simple atmosphere. Plenty of parking in two parking lots, one to the right and one to the left of the restaurant. We'll definitely be back.

11/11/2025: I needed to use the restroom while waiting for the water bus, so I used it. The espresso was delicious. The staff were kind.

12/10/2025: I recommend this little spot for a quiet, cozy aperitif. I also recommend the green apple cocktail to anyone who likes apple. The bartender is friendly and makes you feel right at home.

16/10/2025: Excellent restaurant. Be sure to order the sea bass, which is cut with your order and marinated in Champagne. Excellent service and delicious food. We'll definitely be back!

13/10/2025: Hostaria ai Do Farai doesn't live up to the descriptions in previous reviews. It was a real disappointment! They've probably changed management... Terrible service and food, poor quality and quantity. We ordered seafood, but there was very little shellfish and it was flavorless, and the spaghetti tasted like it was seasoned with butter! They even tried to cheat us by charging us for what we hadn't eaten! They quickly changed the bill when this was pointed out, without apology. I don't recommend it!

Here, you're not just a customer, but a person welcomed with a smile, genuine kindness, and a lot of attention. The establishment is meticulously cared for down to the last detail: tidy, clean, and well-organized. You can see the passion behind every choice, every service. The owners and all the staff are qualified, available, and always ready to help with professionalism and warmth. A special mention goes to the lifeguards, always present, attentive, and truly super kind. The restaurant and bar are another strong point: the food is excellent, tasty, carefully prepared, and served with courtesy. Whether it's a quick lunch or a dinner overlooking the sea, every moment is a pleasure for the palate and the soul. 20/06/2025: We were there on our way home. The owner immediately offered us a grape juice. Then a bottle of house wine. All without a price tag. We ate for €26. A portion of pasta with mushrooms and a very small veal schnitzel with fries...not exactly homemade. The food was okay, but at €50, it was completely overpriced. What a shame. The owner was so nice. But we still think it's overpriced. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this restaurant.
