I strongly recommend ... Learning the recipes better and the same procedures to implement them ..... Sorry but in the category from Belluno Treviso Venice, this is the worst ...... 01/12/2025: I read so many positive reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was embarrassing. I'd start from the beginning, when my friend and I ordered a ginger beer and a Sprite, and we received what we thought were two ginger beer glasses, due to a misunderstanding on the part of the waitress, but they were actually two Spritzes (the same color as the ginger beer). It's a shame that I was the one who realized this mistake after the first sip, because I'm breastfeeding and therefore can't drink, but there are people who are allergic to wine, and for them this oversight could have been more costly. But let's move on. I have a baby who needs a high chair, and when we booked, we specifically asked if there was one, and we were told it was available. Once we sat down and asked for one, we were told it had already been given to another table. Moral of the story: I held the baby (10 months old) in my arms for the entire meal, trying somehow to eat myself and get him to eat. In hindsight, I should have gotten up and left. But it didn't end there. There was no menu, and the waitress (constantly distracted by the comings and goings of people while she was listing the menu) listed the three first courses we could choose from and then recommended (and we'll understand why later) a mix of appetizers, which, as the name suggests, should precede the other courses of the meal. We, naive and mistaken, trusted her, realizing our mistake during lunch: several courses were far too generous in size, leaving us with no room for anything else (in fact, a friend of ours had ordered a plate of spaghetti with clams, which we had to split so as not to leave any left). In conclusion, 5 diners, 4 "antipasto menus" (a more appropriate name than "round of appetizers" as the waitress said), 2 first courses, 5 bottles of tap water (which are fine if you don't charge me €2.50 each), 5 coffees, 2 starters, for a total of €235.50. Not even the courtesy of deducting the 50 cents for the mix-up with the drinks and the high chair. The food was decent but nothing exceptional, the bread basket was well-stocked, the atmosphere was cramped but not excessively noisy, and the service was inattentive and chaotic. As I said at the beginning, embarrassing, sorry.

30/11/2025: Pretty dishonest, prices way too high for the quality of the food. I booked for five people and specifically asked for a high chair for a small child, and they told me it was no problem. When I asked for one at the table, the lady told me that unfortunately she had already given it to another table (so the mother held the baby in her arms for the entire meal). I asked for a ginger ale and a drink, and two Aperol Spritzes arrived. I thought the lady had misunderstood and brought two ginger ale (since they are the same color as spritzes), but I didn't point out the mistake until my friend, who is still breastfeeding, tasted the Spritz and realized it was alcoholic. There's no written menu, so the lady immediately started asking, "Shall I bring you some mixed appetizers?" Damn us for not asking the prices and trusting them. The portions were overly large, the quality was decent but nothing special, and the dishes weren't particularly sophisticated (the shrimp tart with pink sauce, for example, was among the house cicchetti). Tap water cost €2.50 a bottle. I have no idea which of the appetizers cost €60 because it seems absurd to me. We didn't even order wine; the appetizer for four people and two pasta dishes with clams cost €235.50, from which the owner didn't even take 50 cents off to apologize for the high chair. That's just not the way to go.

27/07/2025: Schyssta pizzaslices som var båda goda och mättande. Inte så roligt att äta inne i lokalen men kan absolut rekommendera att ta med on the go och äta någon annanstans, förslagsvis vid någon av kanalerna.

20/06/2025: We stopped there on our way home. The owner immediately offered us a grape juice, then a bottle of house wine. All without mentioning a price. We ate for €26. A portion of pasta with mushrooms and a very small veal schnitzel with fries—probably not homemade. The food was okay, but at €50 it was completely overpriced. A shame. The owner was very nice. Nevertheless, we still think it's overpriced. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this restaurant.

12/11/2025: Nothing was right: The gratinated scallops came from the deep fryer, the lasagna wasn't topped with cheese but smothered in sugo, and the dessert came with mainly whipped cream instead of the described vanilla sauce.

24/10/2025: They refused to serve us because we only wanted to order food for the kids, and wouldn't take any for the adults because we were full. They explained that it was a restaurant and we were only taking up a table of four. There weren't many people inside, though.

18/10/2025: This is my fourth time here and I'll be back... Lovely people, warm welcome, even for our dogs. The service and the food are simply fantastic... Great rooms...

05/10/2025: The bathroom was a disaster, the rooms were unfortunately completely dilapidated and very small. The food had little to do with Italian cuisine. All in all, we wouldn't book this hotel again.

14/09/2025: Sitting outside in the square enjoying two good coffees and using the restroom, in the meantime we take advantage of the beautiful sunshine and between one sip and another we take some wonderful photos of the beautiful facades of the fantastic Buranese houses.

03/06/2025: The Lunch was a dream with a excellent quality of food, best local wines and a very personal service by Simone. Freshly made with best components from the sea and from the land. The wine from the own culture was just best in class.

29/05/2025: After a week of travelling and eating some amazing food, I thought we'd leave on a high on beautiful Mazzorbo, rejuvenated in part due to Michelin starred Venissa and it's slightly more affordable Osteria. Let's get it out of the way - the location is incredible, with the open dining room being an exceptional way to enjoy view of the vineyard and Chiesa. We chose the Osteria, as it being our last night, we couldn't necessarily splash out on the main restaurant's menu. We also hoped a more relaxed atmosphere would make a nice change in busy Venice. While this was all true, it just led to the most disappointing meal of the trip. The food on the taster menu was various levels of 'fine'; while all locally sourced and fresh, everything tasted under seasoned and, in some cases, bland. Even my favourite dish, the main fish, was more appealing for variety and quantity than flavour. The dessert was also a damp conclusion, a simple meringue dish, which was a bit one note. The wine pairing also disappointed as the flavour of the food wasn't strong enough to interact, and vermouth as a final glass was wild. Service could have greatly improved our opinion but it existed in a strange middle-ground between fine dining (explaining the food and wine pairing) and poor table service (two staff, overworked and dismissive). We even started finding reasons to be annoyed by the end (other diners definitely got more from their wine pairing than us), such was our sour mood. All in all, wouldn't suggest making the journey and spending what was a lot for not much.

07/12/2025: Everything's fine, except the kids have a playroom. I don't know if anyone else saw anything at the tables. That's not good!

16/11/2025: They've changed management. They make very good pizza; the dough is among the best in the area, and the pizza stays nice and fragrant even when you take it home. The only shame is the limited selection.

31/08/2025: We stopped here by chance on our way back from the beach. The pizzas were very good, the place was very clean, easy to get to, and there was plenty of parking out front.

03/08/2025: We ordered two spaghetti allo scoglio, but more than spaghetti allo scoglio, it was spaghetti with tomato sauce and mussels, a few clams, and a single shrimp. However, the most scandalous thing was that the spaghetti was completely overcooked (probably precooked and flavorless). I hate throwing food away, but after a couple of bites of spaghetti, I couldn't eat it. You absolutely cannot present a dish like that, which also cost a whopping €18. We were in a hurry, but we mentioned it and were met with a wall of silence. The mussels seemed fresh, however. I highly recommend ordering something else!

12/11/2025: Everybody who visit Venezia should stop there to have a drink! Amazing people.. Amazing drinks.. They make their own special drinks and the moment you try your first…a feeling will rise to try them all!!! I had a great time there! Thank you all!!!

15/10/2025: We went for a couple of wines in the mid-afternoon. The place is beautiful, very authentic. The staff was perfect, very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great. We had two Proseccos and a Campari and paid €16, a bit steep, but that's what you'd normally pay in the center of Venice.

08/02/2025: Uno spettacolare viaggio nel passato, dall'arredo al servizio ed ai piatti. Un vero bacaro che chiude alle 14,00 dopo aver esaurito tutti i meravigliosi cichéti accompagnati da un'ampia scelta di vini (Ma ottimo quello "alla spina") . Tutto buonissimo, un luogo commovente con uno spetacolare gestore (unico!) aiutato dalla figlia. Un vero presidio gastronomico culturale. Se siete a Mestre dovete andarci!
