Plenty of tables, fast service, average food, a typical "trattoria" for a work lunch break. I've never tried the pizza, but it's recommended by many of the Mattone regulars. The atmosphere is also great for large crowds.

09/06/2026: Family-run since 1700, owners Luciana and Luciana, with their courteous and well-trained staff in every aspect and uniformed attire, have brought to the forefront a business that requires qualified staff and a cuisine with traditional and typical local menus. This is also a tourist destination that, thanks to Sant'Antonio, welcomes many people from all over Europe and Asia.

24/07/2026: We spent two evenings here, and the food was excellent both times. We tried Pomodoro pasta, Spaghetti Carbonara, and pizza, and everything was delicious. I especially recommend the El Cason pizza. The staff were friendly, and we will definitely come back on our next visit to Venice.
