08/11/2025: I booked a dinner for two. We had pastim with potatoes and wild boar stew with potatoes and mushrooms, with a quart of red wine. Pastim was semi-raw. The wild boar was stringy and dry. All the vegetables were completely bland and tasteless, the potatoes were probably not fresh. The wine was vinegary. It's a shame the staff was kind and helpful, but I wouldn't recommend the food.

17/09/2025: Stayed for 4 days from September 11 to September 14, 2025. The hotel is nice, clean, and dog-friendly. It's family-run, just steps from the center of Falcade in a quiet location. The owners are very kind and friendly, and the food is excellent. My recommendation: ask for the hay ice cream; it's amazing, in my opinion. Excellent recommendation from a friend. 29/09/2025: Attention! The pump doesn't give change! I recently filled up here and lost €20. The operator doesn't even have a functioning website, and no one can be reached at the number provided.

05/09/2025: Be careful with this station. Like many other drivers, I was scammed at the Sel Service for a failure to deliver fuel at pump number 3, and I was denied printing because I was constantly out of paper to print the receipt. I submitted the entire report on the official website, and two months later I received a response that the checks performed showed no malfunctions on that day and at that time. It's a shame that we were several drivers, all with this problem. Avoid it!

07/12/2025: The Trieste is a historic hotel in Lorenzago di Cadore. We stayed here for two nights as a group of three during the winter. Overall, we found the experience extremely satisfying: the prices were reasonable, and the rooms were clean and well-equipped. We received a warm welcome from the receptionist: we felt right at home. The owner was also very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

29/11/2025: A spotlessly clean hotel with old-world charm. We arrived at 6:30 PM with a newborn baby and were able to use the microwave in the breakfast room to prepare baby food. The receptionist also booked us a table at the restaurant next door (pumpkin gnocchi with melted butter and imperial ricotta). The next morning, breakfast featured packaged items but a truly wide selection. In short, we'll definitely be back.

25/11/2023: Troppo caldo da star male. Non si può bere un bicchiere con un calore intenso non è ne sauna ne bagno turco.credo che 20 gradi siano a dir poco sufficenti. Fà mancare l'aria poi quando si esce ci si prende un colpo

22/08/2023: Luogo che coniuga storicità e creatività in piatti genuini ed antitetici agli eccessi elaborativi della cucina moderna. In tal senso, davvero bravo lo chef. Mi verrebbe da dire che non lo consiglio … solo perché dopo rischierei di non trovare più posto!!! 😁

15/08/2023: Trovato per caso un paio d'anni fa, ormai è una consuetudine andarci. Locale "antico", mio suocero ci rivede arredamenti e strumenti della sua gioventù. il cibo sempre ottimo, a metri zero. Giancarlo infatti è un cuoco/agricoltore, prepara con cura, amore e gran gusto ciò che lui stesso coltiva è produce. Sempre pasta fatta in casa, piatti della tradizione e qualche volta con un tocco in più. Quando andiamo non riesco mai a scegliere un solo piatto, ormai il motto è "sono indeciso, fai un po' di tutto, non posso non assaggiare". Es. domenica scorsa, antipast: speck, soppressa (da sogno), formaggio, primi: tagliatelle alle zucchine + ravioli con spolvero di fichi (top). secondi: trippa + baccalà accompagnati da polenta,spezzatino. contorni: fagiolini saltati + zucchine (un pochino di menta che le rende top, le ha "spazzolate" mio suocero a cui le zucchine non piacciono). dolci: crostata di marmellata + semifreddo (spettacolare). Prezzi più che onesti, tant'è che mio suocero dice sempre che è poco e gli lascia la mancia. 3 pranzi completi mi sembra abbia pagato 75. Grazie Giancarlo, e sempre tutto ottimo. Quelli di Rocca :)
