04/06/2025: Highly recommended! Excellent cuisine and amazing pizza! Generous portions and affordable prices, the owners are very kind! I recommend booking. Porchetta and roast beef that they produce are phenomenal, try them!!

24/04/2025: The restaurant is in the center of Cortina and during a long business stay I went several times for lunch or dinner. The environment is very beautiful, with abundant use of wood and typical style of the place. Both the pizza and the dishes served are very good, with an excellent house dish (polenta, sausage and cheese) and delicious typical dishes, such as the trio of dumplings. The service is very attentive and the staff is always available.

06/07/2025: One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The staff (everyone) was exceptional. A small but family-friendly hotel with countless aesthetic and customer service details. I would recommend it 100%.

03/07/2025: We were so disappointed when we had to cancel our reservation due to a landslide on the highway between Cortina and the hotel. Our planned activities for the next few days were north of the hotel and the detour was over an hour each way. The hotel was very kind and helped us with our cancellation. If we are ever back in this area, we will definitely book another stay. This location would be excellent for the 2026 Olympics.

28/06/2025: I passed through the Alta Vía 3 route and stayed one night with half-board at the refuge. The facilities are fine. Micaela, the manager, cooks excellent food and will help you in any way she can.

08/06/2025: I ate there once and I can say that it is too expensive, the rooms do not match the photos on the website, full of furniture, even the dining room, even in the room, a slap in the face. Beautiful view

04/06/2025: Breathtaking view that conquers in a heartbeat... I would like to point out that the conditions of the room where I stayed do not correspond to the asking price - many essential things are missing. The breakfast could be revisited a bit as it is very poor. Returning? Only for the view!

03/07/2025: We often go to Croda Caffè for a good pizza, thin, digestible and with good first manners. Attentive but not intrusive service, fair prices for Cortina d'Ampezzo. We invited three other people besides us: Two excellent Sicilian, one with mushrooms, one with burrata and a very good capricciosa with 5 beers. And to finish Pineapple and a truffle I recommend it for those who want to be in company without too many frills and pretensions. They also have a restaurant menu, nice dishes but we haven't tried it yet.

05/07/2025: Aside from the quality of the food and the now well-known skill of the owners (mother, father, daughter, son-in-law)....who as always know how to put you at ease with a nice way of doing things and the quality of both the pizzas and the cuisine... 30/05/2025: We were there as a cycling group of 42 people. Our food was served immediately after we ordered it in advance, and the staff, including the manager, were extremely friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back.

08/06/2025: nice place but indecent service, the waiter with the tattooed crest promised us chips after 3 spritz, he arrived asking us for the bill and promising us chips. Needless to say that after an hour of passing by and looking at him nothing arrived at the table. Take action for the best of this place!!!😡

17/06/2025: Excellent refuge, beautiful location, for those who love nature and walking, welcoming environment, you eat very well, typical and simple dishes, excellent cold cuts and cheeses, first and second courses and desserts, very good prices, I will return, compliments to the excellent staff.

10/02/2025: Remarkable position, beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. We recommend arriving by car to the small car park (near “casa Plotta”) and then on foot. Nice walk to do. At times the road is quite steep (slowly, it's done) and in winter it is often icy (remember your crampons!). It's a shame about the "remains" around the shelter of the old facility (chair lift) which has been abandoned for decades, it's not really a nice sight, it's not exactly "industrial archaeology". The wooden sculptures scattered all around are original. Courteous and pleasant staff. You eat well, their goulash with polenta is really good, not least the dumplings or strudel... with pears and you pay a fair price. Certainly worth returning, perhaps for dinner, then sleeping in one of the rooms (each with private bathroom)…

04/01/2025: More than a wine shop, Corona D'oro is a real living museum open to all. Mr. Bepi manages what is a true attraction of excellence in the Valley The choice of wines and grappas is valid. The cuisine is limited to some accompanying foods but you don't come here to eat Hats off, instead, for maintaining such a characteristic and important place for the area: to be rewarded! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ABSOLUTELY TO VISIT FOR A DRINK AN OMBRA, A COFFEE OR A GRAPPA

26/06/2025: "...I'm never going back there!" That's the conclusion of my visit to la carpa. The experience: a taciturn and bad-tempered old woman just waves her hands, is downright unfriendly, slaps your food on the table, and acts like she doesn't understand a thing. On the plus side, the drinks are cold. The paninis are kind of dry, with uninspiring toppings—well, and if someone keeps staring at you unfriendly, you pay, leave the rest, get on your bike, and move on. I've never been there before, and I'm never going back.
