We didn't sleep, but the food (especially the desserts) was excellent. The view of Mount Pelmo was spectacular.

This was our last night on the AV 1. It was a bit past Stanlanza but so cute. The extra walk (kinda steep downhill) was so worth it. We walked through cow pastures with the ringing of cowbells with soaring peaks in view. Place is super quaint, quiet and authentic. Not touristy like all the others we stayed in. Owner was super helpful with booking us a taxi. Probably my favorite place of the trip.

A charming refuge with a picture-perfect view of Mount Pelmo. You can taste well-prepared local dishes. We ate the goulash with polenta. Amazing.

30/12/2025: The restaurant doesn't take reservations; it's first-come, first-served. Anyone not wearing proper thermal clothing will freeze outside. Plus, there's the incessant cigarette smoke. You have to eat your food quickly or it gets cold. The service is very poor, despite the good will and friendliness of the person taking orders. They're wasting money because we couldn't stand it and left. The food is good and the wine list is quite extensive.
