04/08/2025: We visited there twice this year. We enjoyed everything: great pizzas, delicious fish dishes, and antipasti. The "Frutti di Mare" (fruits of the sea), bruschetta, gnocchi dishes, and pizzas are particularly noteworthy. The wines are also appealing. The service is very good, friendly, and prompt, with no significant wait times. The value for money is also good!

21/07/2025: Unprofessional arrogant staff - ZERO stars Visited with my 6-year-old daughter around 8 pm to order takeaway — she was too tired to dine in. Despite a sign outside, we were told (in Italian only) that takeaway starts at 9 pm. The older staff member laughed at me publicly for not understanding his Italian, and the rest of the team stood by in silence. My daughter was visibly upset. This isn’t just poor service — it’s arrogance. The local staff act like they own the place and the area, assuming tourists will spend money regardless. For a tourist-facing business during high season, the owner should invest in properly trained, multilingual staff — not rely on local entitlement. I won’t return — and I hope others choose to support more respectful, service-minded restaurants.

04/04/2025: This is the classic restaurant that shouldn't be judged by the outside. The outside doesn't particularly tempt you to enter but once you cross the doors you enter another dimension. Good food, good wine, nice place. We will definitely be back.

17/03/2025: After a visit to the city center of Vicenza, we decide to stop for a quick lunch. We found this restaurant where the reviews were very good. We were thinking of a business lunch, given that there was no menu on the table and there were no prices. We took an appetizer, a first course and two second courses, water, half a liter of the house, €46. A little excessive for a business lunch. They certainly understood that we were tourists passing through and took advantage of it. I can't say I had a bad meal, it was decent, it was the price that wasn't right.

23/05/2025: I reluctantly give two stars. I don't think the price/quality ratio is correct first and foremost and the price/quantity. Ingredients often not written with "surimi" as a surprise. Incorrect. Probably the manager has to reach the objectives imposed by the group. I hadn't been there for two years, I returned eagerly but I left disappointed.

18/05/2025: If you want to eat good sushi without the pretension of 'All You Can Eat' but appreciating the dishes I highly recommend it. The quality is excellent, the place is very beautiful and well kept and the staff is trained. Often perhaps one is hesitant to go because by making the comparison with AYCE one thinks of spending more and eating less, but in the end if you take the right dishes you spend a little more than an AYCE but you are more satisfied given the quality of the product 🍱🍣

20/06/2025: Oggi abbiamo visitato Chioggia e ci siamo trovati all’Osteria Penzo. Non avevamo prenotato ma i gestori sono riusciti a trovarci un posticino. Abbiamo mangiato i cicchetti come antipasto, gnocchetti buonissimi con vongole, radicchio e cipolla ed un’ottimo fritto.Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo, gestori molto cortesi.

19/06/2025: Ich hatte eine schöne Zeit in Chioggia und der Abend in dieser feinen Osteria bei Mario war das i- Tüpfelchen. Das Essen hervorragend! Der Service freundlich! Und obwohl man reservieren muss, bekommt man das Gefühl der einzige und beste Gast zu sein! Hier bekommt man gute Laune und verlässt das Lokal mit einem Lächeln. Vielen Dank, Mario!

13/05/2025: I like it. Gondola views and nice service. A place to feel Venice. We ordered Fritti Di Mare Pasta. We ate outside, in front of the Ruver.

17/04/2025: We decided to walk the Grand Canal on our last night in the city. Usually I’d avoid places to eat right on the water, fearing both for price and quality but I’m delighted to say neither were affected here. All staff were really lovely, kind about our pigeon Italian and engaging with our easily embarrassed 14 year old. We had 2 cocktails and 2 soft drinks, 2 pasta dishes and pizza. They had gluten free pasta but not pizza and all of it was delicious. Our bill was €104 including cover charge. This is a bit more than we’d paid elsewhere for similar amounts but not much. View was incredible and people watching potential 10/10. I’d definitely recommend

16/08/2025: Terrible! Last night after ordering they brought me 2 bottles of hot water, we ordered 1 portion of chips without sauce, they brought it with sauce and among other things a small quantity, incredible! Then I ordered the chips again without sauce and they brought them again with sauce! I go to pay and show the card with 3000 points but the cashier doesn't say anything to me and doesn't apply the discount! I will never go back again, to be forgotten!

15/08/2025: Waited over 45 minutes for a very over cooked rib eye. Ordered medium, very greasy and extremely thin piece of meat, not like a rib eye at all. Fries were cold and just about edible. Rest of the table had nearly finished their meals when mine arrived. Not one word of apology from the staff. Very disappointing visit.

11/04/2025: Cena in famiglia più cagnolino al seguito, due adulti e bambina 10 anni, personale cortese e preparato, qualità materia prima elevata, locale pulito ordinato e bello.

07/04/2025: Cordialità e classe. Piatti eccellenti. Prezzi nella media, dai 20 ai 30 euro. Porzioni contorno abbondanti. Verdure squisite. Baccalà mantecato su polenta molto buono. Locale ben curato. Ci ritorneremo.

19/07/2025: I've been coming here for years and I love it. Variety of dishes, good food, and more than fair prices. The place has a very nice and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and respectful.

12/07/2025: We returned to this place after many years, and unfortunately, I have to say that, unlike back then, it wasn't a great experience. The location could use a makeover, but that's not the problem, but rather the lackluster service (waiters bringing dishes to the table while simultaneously carrying takeout bags—it's not a pleasant sight), and the food wasn't to our liking, with questionable quality and lackluster flavor.

06/07/2025: We stayed here as part of our mountain bike tour across the Alps and were very satisfied. We had two double rooms. One was newly renovated, which was fantastic. The second room wasn't renovated yet, but was very spacious with two rooms. It worked perfectly for us. The service was very attentive and helpful, even though we had to overcome our language barriers. Dinner and the following breakfast were extensive and delicious. I'll be going back!

03/07/2025: Non-alcoholic fruit cocktails that were just fruit juices, staff that doesn't come to ask you what you want even after 10 minutes of sitting down, very expensive prices, place to avoid!!

02/07/2025: 3.5 STAR GLOBAL RATING Tried for a business lunch. FOOD: average food quality, no surprises. Tried salad with artichokes, almonds, buffalo mozzarella and salad. Interesting selection of wines. SERVICE: very kind girls, fast service, very suitable for a business lunch. Yesterday, after finishing the dishes on the menu, they prepared raw ham and buffalo mozzarella for us, kind. AMBIENCE: not very big environment, with perceptible speed of the air conditioning, better than being in the heat anyway. Tables a bit close together. QUALITY/PRICE RATIO: average, with average prices.

08/07/2025: Giovanni Fois recommended this restaurant to me. I have to say I'm very pleased with the beautiful feet and the food. While I was waiting for the ✨BrUnCh✨, some very friendly street vendors came over to offer me calzone alla marinara (they had beautiful feet). After waiting eight seconds, the food arrived piping hot and sweaty, like a puppy who doesn't sweat because dogs don't sweat. I'm not quite satisfied with the sweatiness, so I won't give it a very high rating (1 star 🌟). I'll look for a sweatier restaurant.
