26/08/2025: Very snobbish waiter, who obviously let Italians come first. Was directed to a table at the back, and with a gesture, you can sit here. Bad style. Tourists' money is probably as good as locals' The food tasted really good

12/08/2025: I didn't like the service, except for the waitress who served us and apologized for the delay in receiving our dishes. We waited over an hour and a half for a first course and some mixed fried fish. The receptionist was arrogant and rude. The waiters were slow. The food was average. I wouldn't recommend unless the service improved.

06/05/2025: The Machine Gun in San Giovanni Lupatoto is much more than just a venue: it is the perfect place for any moment of the day. Whether it's an aperitif with friends, a quick lunch, a tasty dinner or a relaxed after-dinner, this place always manages to surprise. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, with a perfect mix of modern style and details that express character. The staff is attentive, friendly and always with a smile: they make you feel at home, but with the service of a high-level venue. The Machine Gun is the kind of place that immediately makes your favorites list: you go there once and can't wait to go back.

05/04/2025: Nice place but there is a red girl (not the one with glasses who is friendly) who "welcomes" you with folded arms and not at all friendly which really makes you want to spend time in this place which however would also be interesting given the limited choice of places of this type in the area. A smile can change the mood and ours changed for the worse and honestly we left after reluctantly drinking a bottle of prosecco which, among other things, wasn't even decent for the price. Coming from a psychiatrist, change the incompetent staff and explain that their problems and hidden anger must be kept out of work. Good luck for your future, I hope you read this review with an open and constructive heart and it will help you grow by also consolidating non-verbal gestures to better welcome future customers.

30/07/2025: A little more care in everything

30/07/2025: stayed there June 7 at room 811. The bathroom tub was disgusting, housekeeping personnel is earning wages for doing nothing and shame on the supervisors for not running inspections on the rooms. The room itself was quite tired. The bathtub had significant mold, the windows were dirty inside, and the exterior of the windows was heavily rusted. The overall condition of the room did not meet the level of cleanliness and upkeep I expect from a Marriott brand. When we raised our concerns, Greta at the front desk was very professional and accommodating, and offered us an alternative room. Unfortunately, the second room we viewed had similar cleanliness issues, so we ultimately decided to stay in the original room. The parking situation was very odd — no valet service, and even the paid parking option doesn’t connect directly to the hotel elevators. We had to walk up and down a ramp with our luggage, which became even more inconvenient when we got caught in the rain returning from dinner. Overall, the property clearly needs better maintenance and attention to detail. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this hotel as it does not live up to the Marriott standards we’ve come to trust.

12/08/2025: We stopped at this trattoria for a quick lunch and had a great time. We ordered two pasta dishes, and they were really good. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, perfect for a quick but quality stop.

27/06/2025: I ate an excellent roast rabbit! Typical local cuisine, simple but tasty with abundant dishes and few frills. Very friendly staff in a popular environment. Average prices.

18/06/2025: 5/5 stars! 🍝👏 Im still dreaming about the daily special 3-course meal I had at this authentic Italian restaurant! The family-owned gem is a total game-changer. The mom's cooking is incredible - every bite was love and care. The dad's bartending skills are top-notch, and the daughter's service was warm and attentive. & the regular customers (Gregorio) are gregarious to have around. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, with a perfect blend of local vibes. If you're a foodie, you HAVE to try this spot. Can't wait to come back!

13/08/2025: I read online about live music, thought, "See what happens next?" I was here on September 13, 2022, but it only started at 9:30 PM = still, the wait was 199% worth it. The band >CACTUS QUILLERS< was great, not just Mexico but other things. I'd say, for three hours, this was the best event for miles around, without having to pay €200 for a ticket. Of course, > dancing, applause, good mood, not staring at your phone for hours, but contributing to something happening and turning the street into a dance floor for everyone. A great evening, and people from many countries almost became friends for a short time. > Thank you, and the wait staff did everything they could to make everyone have a good time. > Great, let's see what the rest of the week brings. Stay healthy, Dieter Was in Garda for about two weeks in June > July 2024, No live music, regular staff from the last few years replaced, including the manager. Well, it was European Championship time, others had live bands, which was always great. There were lots of fans from many nations. The atmosphere? Definitely the goal, unfortunately. 08/08/2025: A rather touristy establishment. However, it has a beautiful setting next to the water. Service was very fast and extremely friendly. The food was good, but not exceptional.

08/08/2025: We affectionately call "Ai Casoni" our fisherman's hut. Because of its stunning location on the lagoon and the often equally stunning sunsets, it's usually our destination on the last evening of our vacation. This year, too, the ambiance (including the sunset) was perfect, and the food was a dream. We had a large platter of raw fish, taglioni with tomato sauce, grilled giant scampi, and ravioli filled with sea bass. We definitely recommend all of the dishes! The service – not for the first time – somewhat spoiled our visit. The ladies and gentlemen were arrogant, uninterested in the guests, completely uncommunicative, and not at all service-oriented. They didn't refill our wine from the cooler, didn't ask if it was tasty, and didn't even ask if we wanted dessert. It's truly a shame, given the outstanding performance of the kitchen crew and the undeniably outstanding location on the lagoon.
