06/10/2025: There's no verbal menu, and after a day I had a hard time keeping track and remembering the various dishes listed, not to mention the fact that you're more in a hurry to choose with the waitress nearby waiting for your order. The place is convenient for truck drivers, but if it's your first time there, be careful because the owner works as a valet without anyone knowing. The place is quiet, safe, and convenient, and they also open early as a bar. They leave the bathroom open overnight, which is very convenient for truck drivers. GREAT PRICES, but for truck drivers, certainly not for a family or company or anything else. The food is a salad with 3 skimpy things: tomato, not even half a lettuce leaf, a cut leaf, and carrot.

The food made me feel comfort during a business trip.
However, the atmosphere changed when a lady worker started the conversation about her personal political belief.
Some political topics are quite sensitive, especially when it's related to the national sovereignty of two countries.
It could be a better expericen if she could keep her personal belief to herself or to the peopole from her own country.
25/11/2025: Courtesy, kindness of the owners and speed of service. Very good food, pleasant place. Average prices. Option of à la carte or all-you-can-eat menu.

23/11/2025: For my birthday, I bought a Sacher torte from Pasticceria Beltrame. First of all, I'd like to point out that my family comes from the land of Sacher torte (Austria), and I also enjoy making cakes, including Sacher tortes.
That said, I can confidently say that the cake was excellent, and the ingredients used were certainly top-quality; the flavors were very balanced and left a pleasant taste.
A 9.9... a 10... only for my grandmother.
Compliments to the pastry chef.

I imagine the grumpy "boss" at the cash register, and the waiters who don't speak the language or have that sad expression.
06/11/2025: I've dined here a couple of times, and unfortunately, I've noticed that the quality and selection on the menu have declined compared to what I remembered.
In particular, I felt that some dishes weren't as carefully crafted as they once were, and that the offerings no longer matched the standard I remembered.

12/09/2025: A beautiful mountain hut, renovated from many years ago.
The garden is immaculately kept and the 270-degree panorama is mesmerizing.
It's a shame that when we arrived at 3:45 pm, they were almost out of coffee...but no big deal...
The final stretch of the trail is wide and well-maintained.
The first two-thirds, starting from Barezze, are decidedly challenging: narrow, muddy, and sometimes not perfectly marked.
At a medium-slow pace and a few stops, the climb takes an hour and a half...
The descent is a little quicker.

31/10/2025: Excellent little seafood restaurant nestled in the porticoes of central Mestre... Phenomenal, carefully prepared dishes, a smart-casual atmosphere suitable for both a business lunch and a romantic dinner, and a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely kind owner.
The only downside is that since there's only her and her husband in the kitchen, don't expect fast service: La Scuea is for enjoying a meal, not for a quick sandwich, remember that!
In any case, a highly recommended place!
Oh, and ps: the place is small, so it's best to book in advance!

09/11/2025: A specially furnished bar with a pool table and foosball. It's lovely to sit outside in the sun with a Spritz.
29/10/2025: A classic bar for athletes/climbers and locals. Very affordable and good food (bruschetta, etc.). When the sun is shining, you can sit in the small outdoor seating area facing the street. Order at the bar and the waiter will bring your order to your table. The somewhat older owner is very attentive, though sometimes it takes a little longer. The bar is legendary; a visit is an absolute must. The table wine is very good and inexpensive.

16/09/2025: Kind and helpful, there are also some good cakes for celiacs (I always take the carrot one) made by them, I read the newspaper and then I go back to the market (Tuesday and Saturday) if you want also 2 tables outside 😊👍

13/06/2025: I've only been there twice, so that's too short a time to judge, but I'm optimistic that if I return, I'll find the same atmosphere I loved, especially the blonde barista who's incredibly quick with her work and does a great job. The clientele is made up of local workers, some of whom I know personally because they've made history in the area.

15/08/2025: Where the coast ends, for the walk or going up from the sea, there's this quiet kiosk, with a sea view and total relaxation...
Despite the price increases, the coffee, which is also excellent, is still the best in terms of prices... as is the ice cream, but they say that in Casal Velino it's all one family... that's what I noticed...

13/09/2025: We were spontaneously looking for something to eat near our hotel and this little pizzeria was recommended to us.
The pizza is truly unbelievably delicious! A super fruity sauce as a base, a light dough that's very thin and crispy, and not greasy 🤤 really different from what you'd find in Germany.
The owner (and his wife? 🥹) are very friendly! We paid just under €20 for two pizzas and two drinks, so absolutely GREAT!! 🥰
We'll definitely visit this pizzeria more often on this vacation 😇
They also have an English menu, and the language barrier isn't a problem; they simply write it down for you, very kind 😊
