22/10/2025: It's difficult to give a definitive assessment because some dishes are exceptional, like the sardines in saor and the seafood risotto; others are average, like the fried scampi; and others are incredibly on the menu, like the Campari trifle, which are truly inedible. And it's not a matter of taste; the acidity and bitterness of the Campari clash with the sweetness of the custard and chocolate. That's why the end of the meal left me speechless...

08/12/2025: We returned for lunch today at Antica Trattoria La Grotta in a large group: 11 adults and 9 children. We ate wonderfully, and the restaurant, adorned with Christmas decorations, is even more beautiful than usual... and that's no easy feat, given how welcoming it already is throughout the year. The friendliness of the staff, who welcomed the children with great kindness and patience, helped make the lunch even more enjoyable, was particularly commendable, and something that's now rare. A 10, without hesitation. Highly recommended!

12/11/2025: The atmosphere is quite welcoming, but it could use a bit of updating and cleaning (for example, the old and worn rugs under the tables). The food was decent, but the portions were small considering the prices you'd expect from a trattoria. The manager didn't ask me if the meat was cooked properly. A major inconvenience was the €5.99 bottle of wine at Esselunga, which was charged €26 (the manager had suggested a bottle from Trentino, and it arrived from Friuli, but we kept it). No wine list was provided, nor even a menu to give you an idea of ​​the prices. Finally, €40 per person for what we ate (half a charcuterie board each, some of us had a first course, some of us a second course, some vegetables, water, and not even coffee—I repeat, we were at a trattoria) seems a bit excessive.

15/12/2025: Someone below said Jjamppong was better than Korean Jjamppong. Is this a part-time commenter? ;; The noodles are fresh noodles used in ramen. The broth doesn't taste like Jjamppong at all. It's closer to Mala Tang, but not even Korean Mala Tang.

18/08/2025: The DaClà Bar and Gelateria is under new management, where you'll be served by the smiling and friendly Myrhiam. Aperitifs and snacks are excellent for your post-work break or aperitif dinner.

13/12/2025: I visited beautiful Verona for the first time, and I was indeed lukcy that I could spend time Cappa Cafe to make a super pleasant memory :) Even though cafe was very crowded, all stuff there were extremly kind and treated us nicely. we needed to work with our laptop, they did whatever they could to help us and prepare everything we needed. I really apprecaited all specailly Dick and Luigi. these dudes and another guy who I dont remember his name, all treated us so nicely and helped us to feel comfrotable. I am sending this long message to just appreciate them, and say congratualtions to the cafe management team for having and choosing such valuable people. Thanks all of you again for your wonderful service. next time I come to the city, for sure I know where I need to go for caffee ;) Highly recommended ;)

06/06/2025: I was really impressed by this restaurant! The atmosphere is welcoming, with attention to detail and perfect for both a dinner with friends and a special occasion. The staff was kind, attentive and helpful without ever being intrusive. The menu offers an interesting variety of dishes, with fresh and well-selected ingredients. Excellent value for money and reasonable waiting times. I will definitely be back! Highly recommended.

06/06/2025: I have been to this restaurant and I have to say it was a great experience! The food was really delicious, you could taste the quality of the ingredients and the care in the preparation. The service was also kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I absolutely recommend trying it, I will definitely be back.
