13/06/2025: The restaurant sits at the top of the mountain overlooking Bolzano. The town is small, the village is secluded, and the experience is totally unique. The food is very good. This was one of our favorite dining spots during our entire vacation!

20/06/2025: We were returning from Tuscany and, unfortunately, only stayed there for one day. It's rare to find such a nice host family. The interaction was so friendly and warm that we will definitely be back, as guests of one of the two vacation apartments. The homemade cakes and tarts in the adjoining café are amazing, and Rudi Schönweger's homemade ice cream is heavenly.
Maria Schönweger spoiled us with a wonderful breakfast and won our hearts after just one day.
We were thrilled and will be back, especially since the place has a magical charm and much to offer nature lovers. And on hot days, the outdoor pool is within walking distance.
31/05/2025: Everything was great! The accommodation was very clean and well-maintained. I would especially like to highlight the incredibly friendly and welcoming owners – you immediately feel welcome. I highly recommend the accommodation, and we would love to come back!

07/09/2025: This was our second time here after a very good first experience. The staff was rushed. We ordered two pizzas. The pizza filoncino Primavera looked good on the outside (a rolled pizza). Inside, the dough looked undercooked. When we asked if the dough was supposed to be like this, we were told it was normal. We didn't eat this piece of pizza. A little later, another staff member came and asked if the pizza needed to go back in the oven. A bit late...
The plate with the undercooked pizza slices was immediately taken away and thrown away. No apology, nothing.
What a shame!

10/07/2025: Two excellent dinners at this traditional, family-run inn. Must try the homemade ravioli, the trio of dumplings, and the exceptional Milanese cutlet. Don't miss the strudel and the apple pie. Also, the gelato with warm raspberries! Draft beer or local white wine. Congratulations!
The price is very reasonable!

13/06/2025: Papero's pizza is excellent, the arancini are amazing, the gnocchi and lasagna are delicious. I still have to try the parmigiana and the panzerotti, but the premises are mouth-watering... too bad I didn't meet you before... good guys! Forza Cosenza!
28/04/2025: Recommended by friends from Bolzano, excellent pizzas, it is a cross between a take-away pizzeria but it is also possible to eat on site. Quick in service.

09/06/2025: Did not stay at the hotel, but just ate here for dinner. We had one of the best pizzas we've ever had here! The view from your table is spectacular as well.
21/04/2025: We found ourselves in the area and I saw the very positive reviews, I fully agree with what I read!
Spacious room, very comfortable bed and working bathroom.
Below the guesthouse there is the restaurant, very practical, very friendly and also very good staff.
Excellent location for getting around and surrounded by true nature.
I recommend it with pleasure👍👍

17/08/2025: I visited in the summer while hiking.
I had the first and second courses of the day (tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and steak with vegetables, arugula, and mushrooms) and they were very good.
I sat outside and enjoyed a wonderful view.
There are loungers for relaxing and sunbathing.
I also took a look inside and it was very well kept.
31/07/2025: A superb, modern mountain hut with comfortable rooms and excellent food. Easily accessible via cable car/gondola. The view is breathtaking. A view of the Dolomites is also possible when the weather is right. The host served and cooked for us as a hiking group alone. Excellent service and the absolutely best food we enjoyed during our eight-day hike. We'd love to come back. Thank you so much for everything.

06/09/2025: We were here for lunch on a Saturday.
Unfortunately, it took about 10 minutes to get a menu when we asked, and another 5 minutes for our drinks to arrive.
The food came separately, each dish, and the pizza was already gone by the time the salad and the plate of fries with sausages arrived.
The food itself was decent, but nothing I'd definitely want to come back for. It's a shame.
03/09/2025: I ate the best pizza in all of Bolzano and the surrounding area. The pizza chef is clearly professional and new, but before they were small feet, now they are real pizzas. The Neapolitan pizza is delicious, everything is top-notch, I recommend it.

The place is a bit small, but well-kept and clean.
Excellent value for money, and the owner and staff are friendly, polite, and helpful.
Everything was great!
23/08/2025: Small but cozy pizzeria, excellent and super light pizza. The dough is leavened for 24 hours and the ingredients are excellent! Highly recommended!

05/08/2025: Judging by the good reviews, even though they're from a year ago, I wonder if management has changed. We stopped for coffee and were made to understand we weren't welcome. With a condescending air, when we asked for a coffee, he looked at us and said, "If I really have to." If you feel superior speaking in German, I remind you that you're still in Italy; if so, you can pack your bags and head across the border. 👋🏻

19/08/2025: A very charming restaurant, located right in the center of Sarentino in an old house. In the summer, it also offers a large outdoor area. It offers traditional local dishes, as well as international cuisine and pizza, in a comfortable and intimate setting. Service is prompt, and the staff is friendly. Prices are average.
18/08/2025: I drank a (bad) coffee, paying, at the counter, the same price as for service. Moral of the story: the most expensive coffee in Italy, in a normal village bar.
Not even in the most remote mountain huts, where they deliver water and food by helicopter, have I ever paid €2 for a coffee or €2.20 for a decaf!
Furthermore, the order for two (not twenty) coffees wasn't correct either.
NEVER AGAIN.

29/03/2025: For years I have been frequenting this refuge with my family, exceptional from all points of view, congratulations to Paolo always available for every need, Mattia excellent skimen, all the staff very good, they are great friends for us

they gave us the possibility to choose between two VERY questionable dishes (pasta with sauce or ragù WITHOUT OTHER ALTERNATIVES)
the very rude waiter responded to us in a confidential and grumpy manner
the waiter only allowed one girl to take a different dish from those offered to the whole group (pussy works miracles)
I found a hair on the plate and he replied: "take it off, come on, a robot didn't do it"
he wanted me to continue eating the dish without apologizing or worrying about hygiene. BAD AND NOT RECOMMENDED RESTAURANT

to eat something besides the plate with the hair inside I would have to pay extra...
Moral of the story I was starving
