13/12/2025: I stopped for dinner... due to an accident on the highway. The restaurant was well-decorated, though not to my taste... the waiter, dressed to the nines, who tries to be friendly but fails, offers advice with his humor... I can't say I had a bad meal... but I definitely won't be stopping again.

17/08/2025: Amazing thing alert!! Try the Paccheri con ragu di salsiccie! Honestly, one of the best pasta dishes I've had on my Italian road trip! The desserts are also very interesting, especially their take on tiramisu. For the residents of the Athena Hotel, it's really great. The rooftop is very nice, and the servers are super friendly! Thank you!!

09/07/2025: We got two mains: the cacio e pepe and the one with the fava beans and both were excellent. The santomisù was a blast and the best part of the night. Our servers, Robert and Adrian, were very attentive to our needs and had good chat. I should not forget to mention the breathtaking view, very romantic and special.

30/10/2025: Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What can I say... simply fantastic! 😍 At BOCCA Garage I had one of the best pizzas ever 🍕🔥 – there are so many different ones, you have to try them all at least once! The appetizers are also delicious 😋, and the red wine "Il Rosso," produced right here in the city 🍷, was perfect: full-bodied, fragrant, and truly characterful. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming 🤗—they make you feel right at home ❤️ And after dinner... we couldn't miss a stop at Flos 47 🍸✨—their bar, about 50 meters up on the right. Spectacular, carefully crafted, and delicious cocktails 🍹👌 absolutely worth a try! I felt great the whole evening 💫 I really hope to return soon 🙏 A big hello to all the staff and the amazing people I met there! 👋😊

Two first courses (a perfectly normal tomato picio and a wild boar pappardelle that needs a makeover because the wild boar isn't red but dark, almost black; it seemed more like a mix), a €28 platter of very thinly sliced ​​cured meats and cheeses, a €4 water—shame on you, because they don't have bulk wine, only exorbitantly priced bottles or a glass that costs €9. We only had a water. Plus two coffees, total bill €73. It was incredibly annoying not being able to use the bathroom because it was occupied by people not guests. So there was an endless line right in front of the tables. There wasn't even a tablecloth on the tables, so cutlery and napkins were sitting on a surface that I hope was clean, but it wasn't nice anyway. I'll return to Pienza, but definitely not here.

08/12/2025: I'm sorry to leave a bad review after what has been a very pleasant vacation in Tuscany. But something had to go wrong, and that is that I asked if they could serve me "pasta with just oil and garlic" and they said no. And I asked at a place that serves pasta for lunch. So we paid for the water we had ordered and left.

05/11/2025: A welcoming place, with open spaces just steps from the city. Beautiful natural pool. Sweet and savory breakfast. Ample parking. Beautiful garden.

21/10/2025: A farmhouse just outside Pienza, surrounded by greenery with a small spring-water pool, spacious and clean rooms, and a good breakfast. The restaurant and billiards room could be decorated in a more local style.

The quality of the ingredients used is truly excellent, the rooms are clean and well-organized, and the location is truly excellent, right in the center. What can I say? 30/11/2025: The place appears clean and welcoming, until we start ordering. At 1:00 PM (lunchtime), there were four unfilled focaccias left, along with a few (unappetizing-looking) pizzas, so we decided to take everything, having four adults and two children. The owner's surly and arrogant attitude in presenting and selling her products was embarrassing, creating a hostile atmosphere. It almost seemed like she was doing us a big favor or serving us for free. No thanks or respect, she'll never see us again, and anyone who asks me about the beautiful San Quirico d'Orcia will be told to stay away from this place.

28/11/2025: Everything is authentic and homemade. The owner takes care of the bread, focaccia, and lunch, and his wife takes care of the desserts, croissants, pastries, and more. You absolutely have to stop here! And you'll always come back!
