08/08/2025: A Tuscan experience with friends from Como... a great experience: we ate well, drank even better, and were immersed in the cool of the Sienese hills... the best!! Excellent and fast service, the meat was outstanding, the vegetables were tasty. The only downside was the usual rowdy Americans (and they also speak badly of Italians...) who camped out at the table, knocked over glasses and silverware, annoyed the other diners (including the dogs), and stressed out the waiters. We'll definitely return, even in winter.

10/08/2025: We spent a wonderful evening at this place, where in summer, dining al fresco allows you to enjoy a beautiful sunset and a magical atmosphere. The menu offers refined dishes and unique pairings, but without distorting the raw ingredients, which are entirely sourced locally. The excellent wine list ranges from sparkling wines to still wines to dessert wines, all selected from Umbrian and Tuscan wineries, showcasing local excellence. Overall, everything was excellent: value for money, food, and service, which is attentive and friendly, without being too aloof or overbearing. My sincerest compliments to Boet, the host, who has breathed new life into this splendid place. Ad maiora ✨️

02/08/2025: A small restaurant, operated by a family passionate about Tuscany. The view is exceptional. The food is very good.

23/08/2025: Perfect coffee stop in the morning before visiting Siena. Their terrazza is beautiful and the service is excellent.

22/08/2025: I took some stuffed croissants and a piece of raising brioche for breakfast while I was coming back from my morning run. My family where delighted. Everything was very good. I got some comments about these being the best pastries we've had so far in Italy, two weeks in our vacation. The service was very kind and helpful.

27/08/2025: Terrible experience. Gricia and amatriciana weren't amazing at all, in fact, rather banal. I've eaten better. The owner is too frantic, wants to do everything herself, and the food is too fast, which is a bit annoying. In short, I wouldn't recommend it unless you're just really hungry.

22/08/2025: While in Rieti for a medical appointment, we took the opportunity to tour the city and then, thanks to a local friend, we discovered this trattoria with its unique, family-run atmosphere, both in the quality of the dishes and the hospitality. We will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu. Massimo

01/04/2025: Beautiful estate, amazing wines, and an all-around fantastic experience. The setting is stunning, and the team was super welcoming and knowledgeable. We also had lunch there, which was delicious—perfectly paired with the wines and served in such a relaxing, scenic atmosphere. We learned a lot, ate well, drank even better, and just had a really great time. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

07/06/2025: We booked a cooking class with Karin and it was the most unique and beautiful experience. The villa and grounds are stunning rich with history. The pasta we made was incredibly delicious, fresh and organic. We aren’t vegan but enjoy eating vegetarian and this was impeccable.

13/08/2025: A truly magical place nestled in a historic village that exudes romance. Try the pigeon (it deserves a star) and the nettle risotto with seasoned spleen. N.B.: Everything is locally sourced, from the olive oil to the wine.

08/08/2025: A beautiful place with a peaceful and charming location immersed in the Siena countryside. What we appreciated most, as vegetarians, was definitely the wide selection available for those who don't eat meat or animal products. The dishes available are original, well thought out, and truly delicious.

30/07/2025: The service was terrible, the wonton filling wasn't worth the price, and the dry wonton seasoning was incredibly salty, even for someone who's been eating noodles with oil, vinegar, and chili in a soup. The worst part was the ordering experience. The first person who took my order was a semi-black man with terrible spoken English. He was quite impatient when he expressed his inability to understand. The waitress was replaced by a Chinese woman. I thought I'd speak Chinese, but she smiled faintly and stared at me, insisting on speaking English. I can still instantly recall that undeniable hostility. Since the proprietress looks nice and was polite, and she chatted with me for a bit, I'll give her two stars (sigh, one star might get deleted!). I'll never be tempted by a Chinese dumpling shop again in winter. 🤭🤌🏻 By the way, the shop is incredibly large and deep, so the seating was packed and the place was empty. But their attitude was even more amusing.
