19/03/2025: Typical small but nice and well-kept restaurant. Pretty good food, even though the dishes I would have liked to try when ordering were out of stock. Decent gricia even if it needs to be completed at the table with pecorino but the pasta is good. The roast pork in wine was good but very homemade. The tiramisu was excellent. Very quick and old-fashioned service, without menus and everything said verbally. The girls were very courteous and smiling despite the chaos of Saturday lunch. The bill is a bit of a surprise because the prices are not indicated anywhere, but fair and within the norm. Still worth trying maybe on less messy days

02/02/2025: My Saturday evening food and wine tour, after a 92 kilometer journey, brought me to this tavern and it was a pleasant surprise. Rustic but elegant atmosphere, friendly and precise service, very good dishes and very beautiful dishes. And for me, who am President of an opera association, the pleasure of dining next to an ancient poster of an opera show at the Teatro della Lizza in Siena. And to say that the room would be very suitable for organizing dinners/concerts... Who knows...

01/12/2024: Abbiamo fatto un bel po’ di strada per arrivare fin qui ma ne è valsa proprio la pena. Locale immerso in un bosco, la cucina è molto buona e si nota la ricerca degli ingredienti e dei buoni prodotti. Da non sottovalutare la disponibilità e la gentilezza di tutte le ragazze che gestiscono questo locale.

22/02/2025: Perfect pizzeria, I've gone there with practically everyone and I will continue to take anyone I come across. Delicious and plentiful appetizers and digestible pizzas assembled with excellent quality ingredients. It's the classic place where the menu is completely superfluous and you can let the staff choose for you, everything is so good. Needless to say: highly recommended!

16/02/2025: We came from Siena to try the pizza in this place and we were not disappointed at all. The pizza of the month was really delicious as were the others. Even the desserts were no exception. Absolutely to return.

04/01/2025: Super!!! The lampredotto is exceptional! We even went back the next day and I tasted the tripe!! Superlative! I also purchased the cheese and bread, all from their territory! Crazy!! We'll be back! Greetings to the lady who is a real treasure!!! Well done!

10/03/2025: We got three takeaway sandwiches around 3pm and ate them around 9pm. the sandwiches remained fresh and of high quality, truly excellent - we were really happy. The staff were really friendly and nice.

05/03/2025: If you are passing through Siena and want a quick but quality lunch, "Dù Cose Da Berna" in via Diacceto is a stop that I absolutely recommend. The place is small and welcoming, with an informal and genuine atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a flatbread prepared with fresh, well-selected ingredients. The bread is crispy just right, and the fillings range from the great Tuscan classics to more particular combinations, all well balanced in flavour. I tried a schiacciata with finocchiona, pecorino and honey, and it was an explosion of flavour. The selection of wines and craft beers is also remarkable, perfect to accompany the meal. The service is fast and friendly, with a staff who transmits passion for their work. The prices are honest, especially considering the quality of the ingredients. In short, if you are in Siena and want to eat something good without too many formalities, this place is a perfect choice!

08/03/2025: Another very memorable place that we Highly recommendable!!! The best thing is that some of our best food experiences are by stumbling upon them. The waiter said initially no table available but he noticed our disappointment! He said if you can be done by 8 PM ( 1.5 hour dinner) he could get us tables. We said no problem. We all were mesmerized by the view. The setting was great, food delicious the wine was great as well. Overall a fantastic place to eat. Also the restaurant on the inside provides great ambiance. By the time we finished it was 9 PM, nobody rushed us. If I’m back here again, I will stop here to eat!!! Sorry no good photos of our dishes.

12/01/2025: What a beautiful setting with a stunning view. We ate at Le Vecchie Mura on out trip to San Gimignano in October. We had the porcini mushroom pasta and the truffle carbonara. Both the dishes were delicious. It was a beautiful night and so nice to be able to sit outside with a wonderful view. If you are going to be in San Gimignano, it is definitely worth it. Hard to find a better setting.

06/03/2025: The pizza was very good, light, thin, I also ate the crust. Very nice environment, nice furnishings, large and comfortable spaces.

06/03/2025: Intimate venue with great aesthetic potential. Very courteous, young staff.. we were welcomed with a smile. Pizzas with soft Neapolitan-style dough, quality ingredients used. Excellent beers and quality coffee to finish. The only flaw, personal taste, is the radio... you can't hear it :-) I would have expected a sound suitable for a place like this. If we ever come back here, we will definitely come back.
