22/08/2024: Great restaurant in a small town outside Siena. Absolutely great location. So beautiful in nature.

11/08/2024: The food was really not very good. Every vegan dish was over-salted, totally bland and poorly prepared. Quite a shock to be honest. Beautiful setting though. Friendly service. Excellent wine apart from that. A real disappointment.

17/08/2024: One of the best restaurants in the area for value for money. You need to book in advance as it is often fully booked. We have been there twice to enjoy the Tuscan cuisine and especially the homemade pici. We had an excellent culinary experience, but in my opinion some dishes cost too much compared to what they offer. All in all it is an inn that I highly recommend, the atmosphere is magical especially at sunset.

12/08/2024: You can't go wrong when you read “welcome to paradise”. A small place in the open space of a small village, with a magnificent view; the dishes are simple and genuine, tasty and the price is absolutely correct. The service is warm, it feels really good!

18/08/2024: If I went back it means that I liked it but this time, thanks to the PALIO, the wait was long but it was rewarded by the excellent dunk

14/08/2024: We had a great time. We drank local wines, ate a good mixed platter of excellent local quality, and two delicious sandwiches (the "pellegrinaio" was amazing!!!) Friendly and helpful staff

17/08/2024: Password: HOSPITALITY, when you enter it feels like being in the family. We ate divinely: generous portions and genuine food. Valentina carefully chooses quality raw materials and prepares simple and tasty dishes from the Tuscan and non-Tuscan tradition with love and dedication. I recommend booking because there are few places to ensure the right attention.

10/08/2024: While passing through Tuscany, we visited San Gimignano, a real gem, where we decided to spend the evening. It was by chance that we walked through the door of Vecchie Mura and what a lovely surprise. The staff is very friendly, the food excellent and the atmosphere exceptional with a breathtaking view of the Tuscan landscape! I highly recommend! Thank you to the whole team for this delicious moment!

10/08/2024: In summer, and even more so with the heat, you want to go to dinner later, after 8 or 9 p.m.... in the fresh air. They close at 9:30 p.m.…. They do not have schedules appropriate to the circumstances of tourism. Much better to have dinner later in the Plaza de la Cistera (it has more suitable times)

29/08/2024: When we stepped into Lieviti we were a little alarmed... there were only two occupied tables. Luckily as the night went on we realised we were just being extremely British by coming for dinner at 8pm... by 8.30pm the place was packed. The food was excellent, scratching the itch we had for wonderful pizza despite recognising it's not what Tuscany is known for. Service was a little more tricky, as language proved a bit of a barrier and as the restaurant filled up it was more challenging to get plates cleared and a bill sorted. But it was all understandable, and didn't negatively impact the experience. A great option while you're in Montepulciano.

25/08/2024: We were visiting Montepulciano and other places in the area and stopped to enjoy Neapolitan pizza at this pizzeria. You have to go down some stairs, as the place is underground and almost all the tables are under one roof and there are about fifteen of them. The menus are not delivered to the table, but rather wifi is provided to view the price list. From the name I expected a selection of different yeasts, but this was not the case. There is not much selection of pizzas, while the classic ones have a normal price, the special ones are very expensive. Very courteous waiters. The service was very fast, even in the delivery of the dishes, so I cannot confirm the reviews that speak of biblical times. The pizzas were very good and the dough too, but everything was normal, not exceptional.

26/08/2024: Excellent pizzeria. All the staff are very kind and helpful. Very nice, simple, private and relaxing environment. We ate in the courtyard, reservations are recommended to eat on the terrace. Great background music. Delicious pizzas, light and soft dough. The list includes many classic pizzas and some very interesting special ones, such as the white one with egg and vegetables.

21/08/2024: Excellent time spent in this restaurant. The pizzas are delicious, the setting is splendid and the service is fast and efficient. Absolutely worth testing if you pass by.

13/08/2024: Overall we liked the menu. However the waitress got our order wrong and my friend had to wait more than 15 minutes while other tables who came later than us had already started their food. If we hadn't had to ask the waitress four times what happened to our menu it could have been a better dinner!

11/08/2024: Practically half the menu is dedicated to ravioli in all its forms. The second courses and desserts are also good. Many dishes also available in gluten-free.

19/08/2024: We stopped at this pizzeria on the return journey, the lady who served us did her best despite being alone and having quite a few customers to serve, the pizza was good and the price was honest.

16/08/2024: An inconspicuous pizzeria in a town with nothing to see, but it's worth stopping when you're passing through because the pizza is amazing.

11/08/2024: Stopped in the company of friends on a Sunday for lunch, welcomed by the owner, a very nice person, the first courses delicious and what can I say, the mixed grill is a certainty! Everything really good and the price super honest!

13/08/2024: Historic house surrounded by greenery, very clean and well-kept hotel. excellent service, cozy rooms and a very comfortable bed. the breakfast was decent... perhaps a little below for a 5 star hotel. the dinner was excellent however. the thermal area and the spa were nice... but I can't give an opinion because it did too hot to use it. The cool pool area was spacious and nice and was the backdrop to our weekend of complete relaxation

15/06/2024: Completely relaxing stay. Compliments to the Chef who made us taste excellent dishes. Al Maitre, very attentive to all needs and an excellent advisor. The staff were all extremely kind. Two unforgettable days in an enchanting landscape.

25/05/2024: On the occasion of our anniversary we decided to celebrate, at the suggestion of a friend, at the Perano estate. An almost fairy-tale outdoor place, a garden surrounded by roses and vineyards. Inside, attention has been paid to the smallest details. We tasted a good wine, ate dishes from a real starred restaurant and were welcomed by the skill and delicacy of a girl prepared in the dining room. The next day we also decided to pay a visit to the cellar where Nicolas welcomed us. A very nice and welcoming boy. What can I say... we had a great time! I recommend everyone to stop in this enchanting place. See you soon!!!

02/06/2024: We took a baba' for a party. The very kind girl with blonde hair. He advised us and served us with kindness and professionalism. I haven't been back for a long time and now you've won me back. Compliments. the dessert, obviously, was world-class!!!
