13/08/2024: This is THE place to buy panforte, the delicious Tuscan specialty with fruit and nuts. Don't be lured by the beautiful wrappers on the factory-made panforte sold in all the souvenir stores. These folks make everything themselves, and you can taste the difference. Personally, I like the panforte pepato - heavy on the spices with a little black pepper for punch. BTW I found La Nuova Pasticceria by asking the woman in a souvenir store on the piazza. She said it's where her whole family shops.

07/08/2024: Excellent pastry shop in San Gimignano. Home made products from candied oranges to panforte and ricciarelli, very littel additives, all very tasty and fresh. Welcoming staff too!
06/08/2024: Regrettable. DO NOT ENTER. A tourist trap.
They do not have the prices published and they try to charge you more (2 coffees and 2 buns 15 euros). I complained and they returned part of the money, but intentionality is evident when when giving you the note they cut off the details of what was consumed so that you cannot verify anything.

09/07/2024: We paid only 3 euros for the house specialty: ciaccino (a kind of stuffed pizza).
The piece we tried was the trancio ciaccino and it was DIVINE. But there are many more options.
Please, you have to try it 😍. It was one of the best pizzas we tasted in Italy. And the attention was wonderful.
Buy a slice take away and enjoy it on the front stairs, admiring the landscape. Is there anything better? I don't believe it 😏
This place is a must stop in Siena. And I'm sure I'll come back sometime 👌 I recommend it 1000%

23/07/2024: Highly recommend. The workers were receptive, the food was good and cheap, and it was not very busy when I went. Sitting outside was nice to watch the view.

26/07/2024: Ci siamo rifugiati qui in una giornata torrida e abbiamo trovato un ambiente fresco,curato in ogni dettaglio,un servizio cortese e rilassato,ma professionale.Il cibo era ottimo.C'è una base di tradizione,ma anche creatività ed esplorazione.Siamo stati benissimo e torneremo.
25/07/2024: Wie schön wäre es, wenn wir in Berlin ein solches Restaurant hätten! Ein rundum schöner Ort, nette Bedienung und wunderbares Essen! Italienische Küche wird um asiatische, marokkanische, südamerikanische Einflüsse erweitert, man merkt, dass hier jemand mit viel Freude am Herd steht.

08/08/2024: Stunning terrace on the hills, breathtaking view and painting-like colours. Perhaps a little touristy due to the location, high prices, not very generous portions, very kind staff.
07/08/2024: Location with attention to detail and super panoramic view. Fast, present waiters and the choice of harmochromatically matched outfits was appreciated. Super good cocktails. We had an aperitif and as much as I think dinner deserves it, this was not up to par. Little choice dedicated to this on the menu, small portions and cold cuts and cheeses not of excellent quality, they could be supplied better. I would go there again to drink.

11/08/2024: The food was embarrassing. We had three different salads, they did not add any seasoning or dressing. The risotto with seafood barely had any actual seafood, just empty shells. The service itself was fine.

17/06/2024: Bar/Pasticceria consigliato da mia cugina. Brioches e cornetti non male, locale piccolino con possibilità di sedersi anche all'esterno. Do 3 punti perché si fa mola fatica a trovare parcheggio (Come in tutta San Gimignano) e poi perché il ragazzo che ci ha servito doveva ancora svegliarsi. Prezzi nella norma.
P.s. Stiamo ancora aspettando un po' d'acqua prima del caffè!
23/05/2024: Proprio fuori dalle mure del borgo si trova questa pasticceria dove si può gustare un’ottima colazione ed un buonissimo caffè! Consiglio le brioches…
