08/08/2025: It had a lot of ice, nothing like the creaminess and craftsmanship of Italian ice cream.

28/07/2025: We had four cones: one with stracciatella/pinguino, two with pistachio/snickers, and one with nice (Chantilly cream, meringue, and strawberry swirl)/snickers. Everything was really fresh and delicious. The weather wasn't very inspiring, but the look of those beautiful and, above all, delicious ice creams guided us to the right choice. I was undecided between three flavors, and the guy kindly put a taste of the third flavor on my cone.

21/06/2025: We ordered 3 pizzas for a total of 34 euros. A man arrives on a 750cc motorcycle, after having made a mistake in the delivery address. I give him 40 euros in cash, two pieces of 20, he pockets it, says he doesn't have change and leaves. So the pizzas cost us 40 euros. Unacceptable attitude. P.S. we had asked for a 4 cheese with added speck, a margherita arrived with speck. Too bad that it was marked as 4 cheeses on the bill, so we also paid more for the pizzas.

The atmosphere is cozy yet elegant, with a genuine sense of hospitality that sets the tone for the entire experience. We started with the Gustoso Pizza Caprese, and it was simply outstanding — thin, crisp base, fresh mozzarella, juicy tomatoes, and fragrant basil coming together in perfect harmony. Every bite was full of flavor and balance. For dessert, we tried both the tiramisu and the torta della nonna, and each was unforgettable in its own way. The tiramisu was creamy and light, with just the right amount of coffee flavor, while the torta della nonna offered a delicate sweetness with its custard filling and hint of pine nuts. To accompany our meal, we chose a glass of vino rosso, which paired beautifully with both the pizza and the desserts. The staff’s attentiveness, friendly smiles, and genuine care for guests made the whole evening even more enjoyable. This is the kind of place you return to again and again — not only for the excellent food, but for the warmth, atmosphere, and the feeling of being truly welcomed every time. Highly recommended.

20/06/2025: It looks like a truck stop at a gas station. It's THE place to eat in Montalcino. Forget all the enotecas or restaurants in town. HERE, it's a family-friendly experience. The best cuisine with recipes from the mother, the warmth of father and son. Italian charm, warmth, and the best entertainment!

28/07/2025: I travel to Siena often for work. The new management of the Fontebecci restaurant is truly excellent! Kindness and customer service are always top priority. I've often experienced the attention the current manager gives to customers, always asking if they're satisfied. The focus on local products and recipes, sometimes slightly revisited with pleasant twists on the theme, is also top-notch. I find the prices fair and excellent value. Try the "Chianti tuna"!

02/06/2025: Intérieur joli, de caractère avec des vielles pierres. Un peu excentré par rapport à la foule (appréciable). Terrasse simple mais agréable. Foccacia ok, sans plus. Manque de goût et fort gras.

19/01/2025: Had a very good cappucino and a good filled croissant (chocolate/pistaccio) here two days in a row, very cheaply and was served in a friendly and professional manner in English. Price-performance ratio is very good. Sure, it's at the bus station, but if you're looking for an exclusive ambience you'll have to delve deeper into the city and then accept higher prices.

03/07/2025: ¡Muy bien! Gracias. Hemos comido bien en la Toscana durante todo nuestro viaje, pero Idyllium fue nuestro favorito en cuanto a comida y ambiente en general. Resulta que realmente guardamos lo mejor para la última noche y hemos visitado algunos lugares increíbles. Música en vivo de buen gusto, la comida era excelente, el vino y los cócteles a juego y bueno… ¡las vistas hablan por sí solas! Una puesta de sol impresionante. Gracias, nos vemos la próxima vez.

22/12/2024: Uno de los grandes restaurantes de la provincia (Siena). Original y deliciosa comida toscana, muy local y de temporada. Voy allí con frecuencia aunque vivo a una hora de distancia. Estilo Slow Foods.
