19/03/2025: Unfortunately my experience with this pastry shop was anything but positive. I called a week ago asking for a glazed dessert to celebrate Father's Day and obviously my father's birthday; my order was taken without problems. I would like to point out that, at their request, I left my telephone number for any problem without receiving any notification. This morning I showed up to collect the cake and I was told, after waiting 10 minutes, that it hadn't been made and I would have to fall back on another dessert from those displayed on the counter without even having heard half a word of apology. It's not my habit to leave negative reviews or argue and I absolutely didn't argue despite everything because the place was quite full, but it's good to review the unreliability shown to me. You had a telephone number, I won't add anything else.

Abbiamo alloggiato, fatto colazione e cenato presso il Rio Vorno e la nostra è stata un' esperienza più che positiva. Camere accoglienti, colazione e cene ottime e abbondanti, pratico pranzo al sacco da portare in fiera. 06/04/2025: I'm not used to writing reviews, also because I've never had the opportunity to find a place that deserved sincere praise. But this is a place that I would define as rare! Rare because it is not the usual trattoria ruined by mass tourism, where you are welcomed by a listless, rough and half-hysterical woman who seems to be doing you a favor by serving you mediocrities sold at prices out of context. Far from the chaos, in a charming and magical village, you enter this little place where Irene's smile welcomes you. A sweet girl who smiles at you with sincere eyes, friendly and very polite. An informal environment, one in which you immediately feel at ease. To make everything even more pleasant there is Elena, graceful, smiling and with a gift.... golden hands! Her dishes are made with love and the honest prices she offers show the seriousness and skills of this girl, who loves what she does and her territory. Personally, it took me back to when, during my lunch break, a dear lady from Villa Collemandina cooked me my favorite dish, with the care of someone who knows how to prepare real local cuisine. This rare young woman, Elena, had the intelligence to focus on simplicity and honesty. Compliments.

16/03/2025: Walking around in Lucca and was just about to pass out from holding in my pee due to the lack of free public bathrooms before I stumbled upon the heavenly gates of Alice Pizza. Ravenous, I stumbled in the store and demanded the best slice of vegan pizza I’ve ever laid eyes on. An affordable chain restaurant (2-3 euro per 100 grams I believe) that could make a delicious pizza so good could only be found in it’s birthplace, Italy. There’s options for everyone too. I owe to this place for saving me from having to buy a pair of new pants.

22/02/2025: Il locale perfetto, dal cibo di qualità al personale simpatico e accogliente! Posto che ricorda la lontana madre patria Livorno e la nuova e rivoluzionaria Messina. Clima top con un mix letale di mare e lago. Acqua dolce e acqua salta, Mina e Celentano…passate al più presto da questo posto, voto diesci! Meriterebbe la stella michelin

10/01/2025: Se encontró con este restaurante cerca de la cabina telefónica roja y la bandera escocesa en la entrada de la ciudad, sobre todo porque ningún otro lugar estaba abierto hoy. Mi plato de risotto de mariscos era fabuloso, el servicio era relajado y amable y un ambiente encantador. Muy recomendable.
