08/12/2025: I asked my neighbors in San Concordio where they like to get a pizza and it's easy to see why they told me to go to here. This is a classic, proper place to get pizza in Lucca. It's not Napoletano-style pizza, but a more proper local/Tuscan style. It's delicious and priced extremely well. I recommend only getting the larger pizza if you're going to split it with someone. Otherwise, the smaller size is great for an individual. They also have slices if that's all you need or if you want to try a couple different types! Expect a 10 to 15 minute wait for the pizza to be cooked.

14/03/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance and were amazed! Excellent wine, excellent staff, and a stunning location. A lovely stroll through Pietrasanta with a nice stop.

08/03/2026: As we all know, in a restaurant, the quality of the food is very important, but good service is everything. Excellent food served with a delightful smile, spontaneous yet highly professional, in a unique setting that will stay with you forever, are the reasons I'll definitely return.

If we add that the location is beautiful, the service is fast, and the staff very friendly, I can only conclude by saying, "I highly recommend it."

You eat divinely and in abundance...you spend a fortune...there's a friendly atmosphere with everyone at the table...super friendly and helpful staff...wonderful place, each room different and rich in history... Historic wines, delicious meats, local produce... What can I say? Try it and believe it... Highly recommended!!!

22/03/2026: Located in the city center, next to the Church of Sant'Andrea, it's a historic Viareggio pastry shop, still decorated in a slightly old-fashioned style, but very simple and welcoming. The almond paste croissants are excellent.

12/04/2026: Entering this café transports you back in time. The attention to detail in the supplies and accessories immediately catches your eye. The staff is attentive to their customers' every need. The desserts are fresh daily and homemade by the café's pastry chef: each one is more delicious and incredible than the last. The only problem is choosing which one to eat 😅. The coffee: excellent. Absolutely recommended and definitely worth returning to.

10/02/2026: The ambiance is somewhat Italian, you could even say a bit simple. But the pizza is absolutely superb. Great taste, fantastic pizza dough. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and easygoing. So, we highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back.

07/12/2025: Arriving tired and hungry at the camper area near Via Luporini, we ordered pizzas from Pizzeria Krplero. They delivered them directly to the camper area within minutes. Excellent service! Very good pizzas.

25/01/2026: Nice place away from the chaos, the guys are all great... I always feel great when I leave there. We always order the fried pasta (delicious) because the tomato sauce is exceptional; the pizzas are excellent, with beautiful toppings, but I tried the new sandwiches and was amazed! We had the tempura shrimp sandwich (pictured) and the tuna one, delicious, we weren't expecting them. Well done, well done, well done! P.S. The desserts are also very good and highly recommended. (P.S.: The pizzeria has moved from the restaurant, which is now located on Via Romana.)

13/04/2026: For years now, my wife and I have been coming to Lido di Camaiore for vacations or weekends, and it's become a regular stop for lunch or dinner at Ristorante Istela, where the staff and owners make us feel at home among friends. The food is excellent, made with the freshest ingredients, and the selection ranges from seafood to meat dishes, always top-notch. Every day, you can find whatever you're craving on the menu: from the amazing pinsa (a type of pasta) to superb dishes like paccheri alla carbonara, gnocchi with scampi, tordelli (a type of pasta), or tuna steak, all the way to delicious salads if you're looking for a lighter option. The menu is frequently updated with new dishes based on the ingredients and the chef's ideas. The staff is always attentive, courteous, and friendly. Prices are absolutely reasonable considering the restaurant's location—in fact, I'd say below average. Evening dining on the spacious terrace is priceless. I recommend booking, as during the high season, even though there are plenty of seats, it can be difficult to find a seat without one.
