23/03/2025: Sono stata ieri sera, tutto molto buono, e finalmente un ristorante per noi intolleranti al lattosio! Menù molto chiaro, prodotti senza lattosio o naturalmente senza lattosio. Camerieri molto gentili e preparati. Bravi continuate così!

Each dish is taken care of in the smallest details, both in the presentation and in the flavors: very fresh ingredients, impeccable cooking and a perfect balance between oriental spices and Mediterranean delicacy.

09/05/2025: Hokra is a wonderful discovery for those who love Asian cuisine made with care and passion. It is not the classic cheap or "all you can eat" restaurant: here you enter a world where every detail is thought of, from the impeccable service to the high quality of the ingredients. Chef Massimo manages to convey not only authentic flavours, but also culture: the description of the dishes and the techniques used makes the experience even more engaging. Each course is studied, well presented and surprising on the palate. I truly believe that Hokra can contribute to making refined and authentic Asian cuisine known and appreciated in Italy. Highly recommended for those looking for a different gastronomic experience than usual, with a very high level of quality.

15/04/2025: Fantastic ice cream shop, you would never think of finding it in a small village like Stiava.... excellent quality, with excellent finishes and variety of yogurt products, cassatine...

22/02/2025: Il locale perfetto, dal cibo di qualità al personale simpatico e accogliente! Posto che ricorda la lontana madre patria Livorno e la nuova e rivoluzionaria Messina. Clima top con un mix letale di mare e lago. Acqua dolce e acqua salta, Mina e Celentano…passate al più presto da questo posto, voto diesci! Meriterebbe la stella michelin

10/01/2025: Se encontró con este restaurante cerca de la cabina telefónica roja y la bandera escocesa en la entrada de la ciudad, sobre todo porque ningún otro lugar estaba abierto hoy. Mi plato de risotto de mariscos era fabuloso, el servicio era relajado y amable y un ambiente encantador. Muy recomendable.

03/06/2025: I stayed here for 7 days in May for a conference and overall had a good experience. Our room had a great view of the mountains and the bed was very comfortable, although everything in the hotel seemed a bit dated. They cleaned the room each day and we did room service twice and it was prompt and tasty. My husband ate at the restaurant for all meals (really the only food options are the ones on property) and said it was good. The views are amazing! It is very secluded - to get to Lucca it is 100 euro taxi (one way) and to get to Barga it is a 40 euro taxi. We just enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and then did a bit of walking around the hotel which is very nice but up a giant hill. We also walked to a nice winery that was about a mile away in a small town. The service was excellent at the bar and the front desk- they helped us call taxis when we needed them. Our biggest downside was our shower was either burning hot or freezing cold and the water was basically a trickle.

25/05/2025: Our stay at the Renaissance was, for the most part, excellent! Honestly what made a huge difference in our stay, was the Navigator Concierge Manuel, he is awesome, and deserves a raise. Manuel if you're reading this, great job, we'll miss you!! He organized taxis for us, moved existing reservations, and made us feel extremely welcomed. The only negative things we experienced were, the spa and food, we were not prepared for the massage we received, it was way too intimate, and even after my wife and I told the masseuse that we were uncomfortable, they continued to touch us in very intimate places. So prepare yourself if you're not familiar with this style of massage. The food, was shockingly Americanized, and I was surprised that it wasn't higher quality, especially with the town of Barga close by, where we had amazing meals, at restaurants suggested by Manuel. Otherwise, the room, location, and service was exceptional.

14/06/2025: My partner, our two dogs and I went to celebrate our birthday because it was close to a tracking route. We booked for lunch. We were welcomed very well and they placed us at a table with enough to be comfortable with our dogs. They brought a bowl with water. The environment was serene and comfortable, pleasant background music and air conditioning at the right temperature, very kind staff. We ordered two mixed appetizers, the ingredients were fresh and genuine (the mushrooms had just been picked because they showed them to us whole). I had the tortelli, truffle and pistachio (you could throw them on the floor because they were so good, they grated the truffle at the table, crazy. My partner instead had the wild boar (it melted in your mouth, very tasty) and polenta. Finally for dessert we had the panna cotta, also homemade. The bill was less than we expected. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

08/03/2025: Saw this cute little cafe this morning, had a cappuccino and croissants. The crème croissants were still warm, super good. It was filled with elderly local people, so you know it must be good :)

08/06/2025: Excellent artisanal ice cream shop with high quality products. But they don't stop at ice cream, but offer products such as salads, crepes and focaccia always well filled and presented in a splendid way.

26/05/2025: A fantastic experience, almost unbelievable to have found such a magical place in the heart of Camaiore. I recommend it to everyone.

25/05/2025: Nice place, average food. Two-way street impassable, impossible to find parking. No sign indicating not to proceed or suggesting to stop. Reversed 200 meters because the road was blocked. No warning from the owner, contacted several times for details on the accommodation. At the exit another surprise: fine for all the cars parked.

28/05/2025: I have to say very good even if not very practical with ordering through the sheets to fill out. The nice thing about sushi is the possibility of ordering through tablets and unfortunately here they are not. I had heard of a robot that brought the food but I have not seen it. The rice is a little bigger than what I am used to but still good and I was happy to eat it. Very kind and helpful staff. I was there for dinner.

20/05/2025: Gelateria bastante sabrosa con una variedad de sabores y otras delicias dulces. Tienen todos los sabores estándar que verías en cualquier Gelateria.

14/05/2025: Vine aquí por casualidad mientras visitaba Lucca. Hasta este momento, había tenido dificultades para encontrar cualquier lugar que tuviera algún helado sin gluten, así que me sorprendió cuando el miembro del personal dijo que todos los sabores eran adecuados. Tenía vainilla y stracciatella que eran encantadoras. También el personal era muy amable, que era agradable.

31/05/2025: We chose this restaurant because it is certified for gluten-free cooking and it was a very pleasant surprise for everyone. The dishes are well cooked, with high quality raw materials. The service is courteous and not intrusive. The desserts are also excellent. We will return as soon as possible to try other dishes, but the pici with pistachio pesto with tuna and lemon tartare and the tortelli filled with cod with pachino and burrata that we ate (both in the traditional and gluten-free versions) definitely won us over! Congratulations!

03/06/2025: The "Filetto di manzo alla Rossini" (with truffle) was excellent, while the "Linguine cacciuccate" was below average (very little mussel meat, shattered shells with correspondingly small, disturbing particles).
