04/07/2025: Best espresso I've ever had!!! We sat outside for a quick refresher and stayed for coffee and pastry. AMAZING!!

24/06/2025: A very nice, traditional café in the heart of Lucca. Sweet cakes with excellent coffee, good drinks, wines, and prosecco. Prices are high, but you get olives, chips, and pickled vegetables. If you're lucky, you might catch a good street musician. A place to relax, not as crowded as other hotspots. Bottom line: It's worth a visit!

28/05/2025: I have to say very good even if not very practical with ordering through the sheets to fill out. The nice thing about sushi is the possibility of ordering through tablets and unfortunately here they are not. I had heard of a robot that brought the food but I have not seen it. The rice is a little bigger than what I am used to but still good and I was happy to eat it. Very kind and helpful staff. I was there for dinner.

30/05/2025: After an initial failure of the new management I felt like changing my review for this restaurant because now after three times that we returned for lunch I have to change my mind the portions and the quality of the dishes are back to what they once were! Everything is excellent from the carbonara to the tripe to the rosticciana to the side dishes, the price as always is excellent compared to the quality and quantity of the dishes, the courteous service is quick and precise the environment is welcoming and rustic, the desserts are also excellent especially the tiramisu, very good!

10/06/2025: My husband and I spent two nights at this charming hotel. The staff are most helpful and friendly and very attentive at breakfast time. The selection at breakfast was very impressive with fresh coffees made to order. The room was very comfortable with everything available for your comfort. Thank you for making our stay so nice.

03/06/2025: It is one of those places that if you try it you are willing to travel a few extra kilometers just to return. Already the way they welcome you makes you feel like family, all the waitresses are nice, attentive and kind. To sit in the room, a quiet and well-lit place, you pass in front of the window to order lunch and believe me, seeing displayed first what you then order makes all the difference in the world. Not only that, you can ask for any type of combination or pairing, no problem, they will satisfy you without a doubt. Fast service, low cost

30/06/2025: Very expensive but the location is unique. I wanted to go for an aperitif along the stream but I was told that it was only possible if you then stopped for dinner. A few years ago it wasn't like that.

29/06/2025: What a world-class location! We were lucky; no reservations were needed, and the last table was ours. The staff was very helpful and friendly! Two adults and two children were uncomplicated. A cocktail at the river bar before dinner, followed by Tuscan delicacies in the absolutely charming dining room! We were thrilled! Big compliments to the owner and the entire staff; what you do is top-notch!

27/06/2025: We entered by pure chance and led by curiosity into this small pastry shop in the center of Viareggio, disappearing a real gem. The choice of mignon is enormous to say the least, as is that of the single portions and pastries. We had a single portion with raspberries (last photo) which was something mystical, with a cream that looked like a cloud and combinations of fruit and other flavors that made you want to eat more, but also a strudel, a little revisited, but still very good, with a light note of lemon, which breaks the traditional very sweet taste. I would gladly go back. The single portions are €6 each and the pastries are €2, normal prices for the quality of the products.

14/06/2025: Ho comprato stasera una torta per il compleanno di mio figlio. Ordinata stamattina , ritirata in serata. Gentilissima l 'addetta alla cassa. Tornato a caso dopo cena, abbiamo aperto la crostata . Sinceramente sono rimasto molto deluso per una crostata x 12 persone pagata 90 euro.. Ma non discuto assolutamente il prezzo.Mi è sembrato più di aver comprato 2 kili di frutta che una torta da due chili. Tanta frutta , anke buona , ma con i torsoli, a 2/4 strati , che praticamente affogava il.picclo strato di pasta frolla e la crema . Vado spesso in questa pasticceria a mangiare una sfoglia a colazione, che è eccezionale , ma credo che non andrò mai più a comprare la frutta con la crostata sotto.

06/06/2025: Il ragno d'oro è una garanzia per la pizza, strepitosa,una cecina che definire buona è riduttivo ,il personale e i proprietari simpatici e professionali,un posto dove sentirsi a casa in un' atmosfera semplice e rilassante...con un bagno fra i più puliti e profumati mai visti ,che volete di più 👌

02/06/2025: Truly wonderful family owned cafe serving great coffee and gorgeous pastries and cakes, baked on the premises daily. The bombe was exceptional. Plus, incredible value, two coffees and two cakes all for €5.20. Can get very busy, there's a reason for this, but well worth the queue!.
