31/07/2024: Abbiamo letto le recensioni del ristorante e abbiamo voluto provarlo. Il ristorante si trova a circa 8 km dall Abetone in mezzo a un villaggio di casette prefabbricate in legno. La prima impressione sulla posizione non è stata buona perché tavoli e sedie sono di plastica , tra l altro pur avendo prenotato per tempo siamo stati messi a sedere all aperto fuori dalla capannina estiva e ci sembrava di stare in mezzo alla strada. Tovaglietta di carta e posate nel sacchettino di carta. Poi è arrivato il menù. Abbiamo scelto un crostone con i funghi porcini da dividere in due, poi due pappardelle con farina di castagne con funghi porcini e speck, della polenta fritta e una tagliata con funghi porcini ,patatine fritte ,un dolce, un caffè e un amaro, mezzo lt di vino rosso della casa.Totale 78 euro. Giudizio : tutto veramente buono alla faccia dell allocation un po deludente. Straconsigliato.

28/08/2024: Fantastic gelato with an interesting range of flavours, including a few you won't find elsewhere (Snickers, anyone?). Also worth noting how lovely the staff are. The best gelateria we found in Siena, and worth the short walk from the centre.

You are in the center of Siena 🌇 there may also be a slightly higher cost 💰 ⏫, but in reality you don't expect crazy expenses. It varies from 3️⃣ to 5️⃣ euros 💶 per cone 🍦 or cup 🍧. ✍️ For an ice cream that in the past won the first 🥇 prize as "Best ice cream 🍦 in Siena", I would say super RECOMMENDED 👍 ❌ If I really have to nitpick 🥚, maybe a small table or even just a bench 🪑 next to it wouldn't hurt, of course it depends on the municipality, being in the historic center 🎯, I understand it's not easy. ✅ Truly high quality 🍨 ice cream 🆗 ✅ A stone's throw from the center ⛪ ✅ Prices 💶 average 🏪 Location - 7/10 💲 Prices - 7/10 🧹 Service - 8/10 🗒️ Menu - 9/10 ✅ If you've come this far and found my review useful, I thank you 👍

26/07/2024: Very bad. After a 50 minute delay, a plate arrives with a slice of chicken with cooked ham and a dry, old slice and some green beans. I start to eat and find a wooden stick (green) together with the green beans. All for €9? Absolutely not acceptable. I don't think I'll be back again. On Friday at lunch I will change my habits.

02/05/2024: Very good place to eat in Pisa, cheap €10/person, you have to choose a starter, a second, water and bread, homemade food. It is a place with prepared food that you see and choose what you want. The truth is that we ate very well and €40 for the 4 of us. It has a terrace outside with tables where you can eat.

29/08/2024: Great local spot for coffee and breakfast, which is how we uses it. Friendly, helpful service and the coffee is fantastic as is the Biscotti. They do coffee to go as well as drink in. Popular with the locals so you know it must be good. We didn't try it as a restaurant for Pizza but other reviews seen good for that too. Please they are closed on Mondays.

07/08/2024: Ok for pizza but I wouldn't eat here again. We tried to order for 5 people but were told 'we are too busy'. Charming! Food was OK and is clearly popular with the locals. No itemized bill. If you are a visiting tourist then I'd look around for something better.

12/08/2024: Good breakfast but the highlight was the snack: Schiacciatina with cooked ham and fontina cheese, all very fresh. And in the meantime you are enchanted by seeing the cooks preparing for lunch: manual skills, care in the preparation and a lot of love in their work. Thank you.
