If you're in the area, definitely go there. The food is high-quality, and you can taste it. I recommend the pappardelle with Norcino ragù... truly excellent!

A quaint and well-decorated restaurant. The service is good, though the food doesn't arrive very quickly. The food is tasty, but a bit too salty for my taste. Prices are average, but not cheap.

It has a lovely rustic atmosphere. The service is excellent. Friendly service and reasonable prices.

Some of the dishes were absolutely delicious, I highly recommend the tartare, but don't order the tiramisu here:)

We've been back 4 or 5 times this year, including a 30th birthday party. Every time, it was perfect. I also tried the tortelli, delicious, and the fried food, fabulous. The service and cuisine were excellent, even when the place was full. First review a year ago. On Saturday evening, we dined at this lovely taverna, discovering a menu full of delicacies and an off-menu item that was even better. I really appreciated the excellent cured meats on the Tuscan platter. Then I had tagliatelle with ancient ragù, very good, grilled chicken, and fried porcini mushrooms on the side. With this dish, I appreciated both the excellent knowledge of the ingredients and the mastery of the frying technique. Friendly and helpful staff, a refined atmosphere, and an excellent wine cellar. We went on a Sunday, having made a reservation that morning (we probably got lucky). A friend had told me about it. It was a truly delicious lunch: artichokes, parmesan cheese and olive oil as an appetizer, a prosciutto platter with crostini; homemade tagliolini with pioppini mushrooms as a first course; and braised beef with polenta as a second course. Everything was delicious. We also had a divine steak, fried artichokes, and eggplant parmigiana. The house wine was good, a Bolgheri, if I'm not mistaken. And to finish, a very good cheesecake. The only flaw was that we were in the small room to the right of the entrance, and the door was always open (it was a sunny Sunday and there were people dining outside). The room has a sliding door, which was always open, letting in a bit of cold. But it's a negligible detail, considering the quality of the food and the friendly, direct service of those who waited on us. We'll be back.

Nothing special, the food is good but the quality/price ratio is not there.

We discovered Taverna Aurora through some acquaintances. It's a welcoming place, with friendly staff and food that makes you feel at home. We had lunch with two Tuscan steaks: braciole with sauce and capers, and braised beef with cannellini beans. (€30 was just for wine) Wide selection of wines, and the staff are very knowledgeable about them! The updated menu is shown in the photos.

A typical Tuscan restaurant located on the village's main square. Authentic rustic decor. Excellent local cuisine. The white truffle pasta was superb! Delicious fried baby artichokes. Superb rib-eye steak! Paradoxically, apart from the truffle, the prices are high.
