01/09/2024: Small bar, well located in an area with a panoramic view of the sea, excellent for having a granita on the go. The granitas are delicious and available in various flavours. Courteous and friendly staff, fast service and fair prices.

29/07/2024: The granita and the croissants are also very good. The granita was not the usual sorbet that they serve as granita, but a real lemon granita. The strawberry and cream granita was also very good! The brioches are soft.

27/07/2024: I had dinner with my wife, I was recommended by friends who had been on holiday a few years ago, they had shot me some wonderful photos, abundant dishes, stratospheric frying, but instead we found a restaurant that had obviously changed. Very small portions of fried squid and not fried, grilled very small compared to the portions that had been described to me. The service was excellent, but I don't recommend it, if you want people to come to you don't present gourmet portions, people want to wake up full. However, the hospitality was top notch, I no longer give stars just for the skimpy portions

25/08/2024: Siamo stati la sera di mercoledì 24 agosto 2024 ed eravamo in 15 con 3 persone celiache. Abbiamo già chiesto alla prenotazione notizie che ci garantissero la possibilità di mangiare tranquillamente senza glutine e ci è stata confermata abbondantemente. All’arrivo siamo stati accolti in un gran tavolo composto da più tavoli quadrati uniti a forma di grande tavolata. Quindi abbiamo iniziato ad ordinare di tutto di più dagli antipasti, ai primi ai secondi e contorni e devo affermare con assoluta certezza che era tutto ottimo se non di più. Abbiamo quindi chiesto di conoscere lo chef che è venuto a presentarsi al tavolo prendendosi tutti i nostri complimenti e lui ha dato merito anche a tutto il resto del personale in sala ed in cucina di tutto ciò. Possiamo consigliarvi: carbonara di mare, pesce al sale, pasta con tartufo e pesce ed, inoltre e non infine, il pane prodotto direttamente da loro con e senza glutine, devo dire e entrambi divini. Al conto pensavamo chissà che cosa, invece i prezzi sono ampliamente in linea con la cucina proposta, onestamente pensavamo di più!!! Complementi vivissimi a tutti e se dovessimo tornare ad Ortigia non mancheremo di venire a trovarvi nuovamente. Logicamente lo consiglio a tutti compresi i celiaci!!!

21/08/2024: Homemade food, service a little slow. We brought home the "barbecue" but we found out that it was made in a pan. Good but could be improved.

18/08/2024: We came for lunch with my partner, certain of eating what was available. Appetizer of potato pancakes, broccoli and vegetables and sautéed chicory. Good witches' pappardelle, really. Note of demerit grilled meat cooked in a pan. We will be back because the food is really genuine, there are some shortcomings on the rest

19/08/2024: Locale a pochi km dal cuore di Avola marina, lontano dal caos, sulle alture della città, pochi piatti, ho degustato la proposta di terra, ma cucinati con cura ed amore. Le materie prime prediligono il km 0 e sono di ottima qualità, porzioni giuste, prezzi nella media. Un plauso al gelato artigianale (super cremoso e goloso) ed al cannolo scomposto, freschissimo.

09/07/2024: Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem guten kleinen Lokal in der Nähe. Die 20 Minuten Autofahrt haben sich gelohnt. Sehr herzlicher warmer Empfang. Tolle Empfehlungen und ein schönes ruhiges, unaufgeregtes Ambiente. Auch die Buchung über TripAdvisor hat problemlos funktioniert. Das Essen war so gut, dass wir nichts stehen lassen wollten und quasi aus dem Restaurant gerollt sind. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

01/09/2024: Im sorry, but I had a very mediocre experience. Sad as it was my last night in Siracusa. I should have chosen better. The service was dire, not even a smile though I was on my own, and there were not many other people eating. I ordered pasta with cozze and pecorino, got about 5 clams and what seemed like. a sauce from a bottle. The sign outside says solo per persone simpatiche. But the staff were all miserable Themselves.

25/08/2024: I ate a delicious horse burger (but my newborn daughter's simple pasta with tomato wasn't bad either) on a small table facing the sea, served by kind waitresses who were attentive to requests. Account perfectly in line with expectations. What more could you want?

19/08/2024: I recognize both the education of the owners and the quality of the table service, however there are some important things to consider about the dishes. I tried the norm: it was good although not excellent, a 4. Unfortunately the meat second courses were very disappointing: drowned in vinegar, partially burnt and hard. This is not good for a place that calls itself a meat restaurant. I hope this review can make them reflect and improve.
