28/04/2025: Nos alojamos a la vuelta de la esquina de esta Gelateria - una joya! Gelato y granita eran increíbles, y el personal es muy amable! Tuve una gran conversación con el personal sobre el interés en el béisbol. Este lugar es un poco fuera de los caminos trillados, pero vale la pena visitarlo. Delicioso helado en un lugar tranquilo, pero justo al otro lado del puente de Ortigia.

22/03/2025: Carusi...7 euros sandwich with chicken breast, cheese, a bunch of lettuce, 4 olives and onion...8 euros a tray of chicken breast with cheese to go...total 15 euros?!?!?!? Either I'm not up to date or I missed something...this kiosk has been erased from my thoughts forever. Reply to your reply: Don't worry...there won't be any need, go ahead and sleep soundly.😉

18/03/2025: Dal ricordo piacevole della prima volta che ci sono andata ci sono ritornata. Purtroppo la seconda è stata una delusione. Antipasto un po misero di verdure varie. Primi discreti ma molto normali. Due secondi. Una piccola salsiccia gratinata e una ciotolina di carne con un gusto indecifrabile ed un cattivo odore. Dolce di ricotta. Peccato, anche le persone che erano con me non sono state soddisfatte.

29/05/2025: The food is really not what you expect. My partner had risotto frutta di mare: limp reheated rice with some mussels, shellfish and 2 langoustines. I had crispy sea bass: fish 2 mm thick, the rest crust. The vegetables underneath were a mixture of spinach, olives and dried tomatoes, but really not tasty. The primi: buratta, this was ok. I had octopus: way too salty. The wine: this one on the menu was not there, but there was a more expensive option. The waiter could not open the bottle properly, there were all metal particles from the cap in my glass. Then a fat 3 euros per person coperto. It was our most expensive and worst dinner during our 2 week tour of Sicily... pure tourist fraud!

18/05/2025: We sat down at 8:30 pm and ate at 10:30 pm. 2 hours of waiting to eat poor quality pizzas, hard dough that almost broke the knife when cutting them, they made other smaller tables pass in front of us (table for 12 people). Noisy place. Very kind waitress but that's not enough. Not recommended.

11/02/2025: La scorsa settimana per il compleanno del figlio di amici cari (torta regalata da tutto il gruppo ) abbiamo prenotato la torta in pasticceria (festa a soppressa in un locale…) appena apriamo lo scatolo troviamo una torta tutta scacata con decorazione orribile il colore non era quello che avevamo chiesto per non parlare del sapore davvero orribile delle creme i pasticcini che no sapevano di nulla insomma ci siamo trovati male non abbiamo voluto fare polemiche sinceramente ma sconsiglio….

18/03/2025: Questionable food quality. You have to experiment, sometimes things are good and other times inedible. What convinced me to never return was the attitude of the sales assistants. One more rude than the other. Who scratches his hair under his cap with the same gloves with which he then touches the pieces of diner, who answers you badly just because he's annoyed, but what kind of way is that? Teach these people a little bit of education, HACCP and ways to deal with customers. I'd rather go elsewhere!

28/05/2025: Siamo stati in tempi diversi a pranzo, ora convinti che era chiuso ci siamo fermati per un aperitivo.Accoglienza fantastica con una preparazione e un servizio di qualità. La location è invidiabile

02/05/2025: First of all, whoever gave under 5 stars to this place should be ashamed of themselves, 'no beer on tap' 'dirty bathroom' absolutely ridiculous.. whoever is reading this just visit, it's 40 years old Sicilian family business, daily they heat up the oven with real wood and you can smell it around the whole block, Italian news playing in tv, most beautiful old couple and their son.. one of the best meals in my life. Newspaper clippings of mafia police car bombing on the wall. No words, if you are reading this pay a visit, opens at around 7 in the evening when the oven is hot. Ask for wine recommendations the son knows all and is expert on Belgian beers as well (do not expect them to sell all the old bottles around though, as they are very expensive and restaurant is local.) Prices are most fair and very old school atmosphere in general, should you be traditional family restaurant aficionado this cannot be skipped. City is full of restaurants to serve you tourist trap food and wine, but this one is for the one who appreciates Sicilian family food.
