19/08/2024: Cute bar located in front of the ruins of the Apollo temple. I came here and ordered 2 coffee cream. They asked me if I wanted a small or a large one. I decided to go for the large. They served me the attached cup. I asked if it was normal that the coffee cream was only half of the glass. They replied that it was till 3/4... Bill for 2 creams and one cannolo: 10.5€ which sounds like the bill of a bar in Milan and not of Sicily.. Considering the answer (with no grounds) of owner to my review above, hereby my comment to it: First of all, nobody told me that the glasses were finished and that you were going to serve them in bigger ones. Nobody suggested to check or weigh the quantity. I have been served with no comments That said, regarding the fact that Milan and Siracusa are both in Italy ans therefore should have the same costs I must disagree with the comparison Indeed Sicily, like the rest of Italy, shares certain national expenses, but the overall cost of running a business in Milan is significantly higher compared to Siracusa. For example: Rent and Property Costs: Milan has some of the highest commercial rents in Italy, especially in central areas. Siracusa, on the other hand, offers way more affordable rental rates, which naturally affects the overall cost of operating a business. ( I know it because I am Italian and I owe properties in Siracusa and I know that rents in Milan can cost x5 or more than in the south) Taxes and Utilities: Although tax rates are standardized nationally, the actual cost of utilities and local taxes can vary, with Milan generally more expensive due to its infrastructure demands and higher population density. Labor Costs: While labor laws ensure some consistency at the national level, businesses in Milan have to offer higher wages to align with the city's cost of living, which is not as high in Siracusa. Miscellaneous Expenses: Other costs associated with running a business, such as insurance, marketing, and compliance, tend to be higher in Milan due to the competitive and demanding nature of its market. Given these factors, it's clear that the higher operating costs in Milan justify the generally higher prices. Therefore I would recommend the Apollo owners to better inform themselves about the costs in Italy.

11/08/2024: Family restaurant with regulars, very good atmosphere, the owner is very welcoming. Despite our difficulties in making himself understood, he gave us advice and we tasted some traditional dishes, with very good value for money. I recommend this good cuisine especially to tourists like us.

08/08/2024: As a vegetarian from birth I wanted a change from pizza and pasta nonno! This was just what I needed. My husband and son are not vegetarians but also enjoyed the meal and wine. There is a menu but also specials. Really tasty!

Da Zenzero alcune persone si troveranno come a casa, come nel loro locale preferito, come nella loro comunità. La cucina è deliziosa, locale e di stagione. 14/01/2024: I had the opportunity to try the Divina pizzeria in Floridia and I must say that I was extremely satisfied. The environment is welcoming and well looked after, the staff is courteous and attentive to customer needs. But let's get to the piece de resistance: the pizzas. Simply delicious! The dough is light and fragrant, the ingredients are of excellent quality and the cooking is perfect. I've tried several combinations and I have to say I haven't found anything to complain about. Furthermore, the quality-price ratio is really excellent. I highly recommend this place to all lovers of good pizza!

11/08/2024: Having understood that the environment and table service of the pizzeria is not very convincing, we must not give up because the secret of the place is clearly the pizzolo and the Ina pizza. The values ​​of this pizzeria are to be found in the dough (well rolled, thin and crunchy), well seasoned with good quality ingredients and more than generous dimensions. Clearly the rest is all a balance between a very convenient price and an essential service without anything else. We stayed outside with our family in the summer and enjoyed pizzas and pizzoli and were very satisfied. If you are looking for an excellent pizza or pizzolo, this is a valid choice; if instead you are looking for a place of a certain level, simply avoid it.

23/08/2024: Scoperto per caso a seguito di un incontro a Palazzolo Acreide, abbiamo sentito la piccola pasticceria, il Maritozzo, l'arancio al pistacchio, granite con colazione alla siciliana. Tutto molto buono e commesse gentilissime. Rapporto qualità/ prezzo eccellente. Consigliatissimo Abbiamo un cabaret di pasticcini a dei siciliani doc si è volatilizzato

20/08/2024: As a Sicilian I wanted to try a granita in one of the most "elegant" places in Avola. Mangiafico Caffè Novecento. Out of curiosity, to change the taste, I took a ricotta granita. It was served to me in a paper cup. I was told that they don't serve them in glass for safety reasons.... shame that the beers sold to young people were in glass bottles. In my opinion, given its consistency, it was an ice cream and not the classic granita. The flavour... absent. I told the owner....the answer......that's how we do it. The problem is precisely this. Too bad for the tourists, a disappointment.

12/08/2024: Excellent ice cream bar in the Avola area. Nice and clean environment, possibility to sit with many tables both inside and outside. Air-conditioned room, clean bathroom. Easy access with ramp at the entrance. Both the diner pieces and the desserts are of excellent quality. Particularly satisfied with the ice cream flavors, some typical local ones. The cream-based ones are good as are the fruit-based ones. Kindness and courtesy on the part of the staff ensure a pleasant experience, whether you need to enjoy a coffee at the table or choose a take-away product.

Tutti i cibi erano del giorno prima e, dopo averglielo fatto presente, mi é stato detto che era possibile avere degli arancini freschi. Li ho appena provati e sono stati fritti nuovamente… pertanto sono pieni di olio. Sconsigliato!!!
