16/07/2024: Clean and welcoming place, friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. Rosa, the girl who served us, explained the entire menu to us precisely and clearly, also advising us on the dishes to take based on our tastes, from this we can see her preparation and knowledge of the cuisine on offer. My baby was also welcomed very well, Rosa immediately provided us with a high chair and some toys to entertain him. Excellent, tasty recommended dishes.. I had never been to a restaurant with Mexican cuisine and I must say that I was a little worried about the spiciness which is not to my liking, but my requests were fully satisfied even beyond my expectations . We will definitely be back!

18/08/2024: We went to dinner here recently after arriving in Palermo, we had the hotel next door and the positive reviews convinced us. The waiter who served us was very friendly and explained and advised us to choose the food and offered us to try a local wine. The surprise came when paying. They charged us for a water that we hadn't asked for, the glasses of wine were multiplied by 2 and he charged us for the bottle of wine that he never left on the table, served us and took it away. After explaining the error to him, he changed it for us, but he was a bit angry. A shame because the food was good and so was the attention, but we left with the impression that they wanted to screw us for being tourists.

17/08/2024: Great spot to stop along the busy street. Perfect for a drink and some food and a little people watching. The prices are good, the food is good and so are the drinks. The staff are friendly and great so stop in for bit while you are walking the city. You will not retreat it!

15/08/2024: I couldn’t rate Maqueda Bistrot any higher! This was my 3rd time in Sicily with my family. Going in the middle of summer, roaming around the streets of Palermo, you could imagine how much we were looking forward to a spot to just sit down and relax. This place was the spot! I first wanted to point out, we had sat down twice already in a couple of places a Ballaro, sweaty and uncomfortable we left. We then we’re on the hunt for something fast and some shade, amongst all the restaurants along that main strip, inviting us in, the team at Maqueda Bistro caught our eye with a beautiful fresh drink awaiting us from the bar window. They did not ask us to sit down, which enticed my husband and child even more. We had beautiful fresh bread with our caponata, bruschetta with pomodori, octopus and potato salad, clam and mussels pasta and a pistachio gamberi pasta finishing with a beautiful shot of limoncello. They had aircon inside, which made it even more enjoyable, however the service of the staff, the atmosphere and the food was top shelf amazing. My husband is Italian (Sicilian) and quoted this was one of the best pasta dishes he’s had. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! It is the best, please check it out.

10/08/2024: Pistachio and clam pasta, FANTASTIC!!!! Super attentive STAFF... Acceptable prices, remember that we are in Mondello and eat fresh fish. Quality must be rewarded!!!

09/08/2024: Highly recommended place I found friendly and professional staff compliments to all the staff regarding the food we were satisfied we ate a carbonara with wagyu meat (an exclusive of theirs compliments to the chef) excellent we will definitely return.

05/07/2024: Nous sommes arrivés dans ce restaurant totalement par hasard en visitant le quartier. L'accueil a été très chaleureux. Nous avons pu choisir une place sur la terrasse ombragée, entourée de plantes et avec en fond sonore les chanteurs sur la place. Le repas, le vin, le dessert, la gentillesse du serveur Antonio et les options sans gluten pour notre fils coeliaque ont achevé de nous convaincre que le hasard fait souvent bien les choses. Bref un très bon moment en famille.

28/06/2024: Consigliata da amici palermitani abbiamo voluto provare la granita per rinfrescarci dopo le visite ai mercati. La granita al limone è come quella che preparava la mia nonna.

16/08/2024: Beautiful excellent bar service They also sell scratch cards and cigarettes They stay open all night AMAZING the bald guy behind the counter even made us play an incredible song Then there is the waitress called Kiara (the short one with the rose tattoo) really very kind and cute hands down the best who works here The only flaw...there is no Sergio (the waiter who works at the jo mà restaurant) Another flaw...I asked this famous and cute Kiara to go out but she only has work in mind which is the most important thing for her (if you want to go out remember me Sam)

21/07/2024: Terrible environment, everything dirty and customers and staff smoking inside. It's a shame to present such a place to tourists. Never again. The table was cold and tasteless. The rice salad wasn't bad but eating it with the waitress smoking next door wasn't pleasant. Not recommended

21/08/2024: Beware of misunderstandings here! I had opted for the lunch menu with meat. 12 euros for starter, main course, dessert and drink (water or soft drink) plus coffee. I didn't have the starter because I didn't like any of them. I chose some chicken with salad for the main course. I also skipped the dessert. And then paid more than the menu costs. That's annoying. Apart from that: plastic cups for drinks... In Germany, these cups are only used for urine samples. The open wine was ok. And if they had been fair, my separate dessert request of "some cheese" could have been counted as a dessert on the menu. You can eat better and more stylishly elsewhere for the same money. Incidentally, there is no menu at lunchtime other than the lunch specials. That's what I asked for. When I saw the bill, I asked why the price was so different from the lunch menu? I had explicitly asked if there was a menu other than the lunch menu, and the answer was no. So I took parts of the lunch menu and ended up paying "à la carte", even though there was no "à la carte" menu . Obviously a misunderstanding. Misunderstandings in favor of the restaurant ;-). Lunch should actually put you in a good mood. But this time I was disappointed afterwards. After many months in Palermo, I know how to differentiate between price and quality: This was a very bad one today. 🌱*****🌿 Attenzione ai malintesi! I opted for the pranzo con carne menu. 12 euros for an antipasto, a main piatto, a dessert and a drink (water or bibita) and a coffee. Ho saltato l'antipasto perché non mi piaceva. Ho scelto il pollo con insalata come piatto principale. Ho saltato and the dessert. E poi ho pagato più del prezzo del menu. Questo è fastidioso. A part of the question: bicchieri di plastica for the user.... In Germany these bicchieri are used alone for the campioni di urina. The wine aperto andava bene. This is the same as the other, the richest part of the "un po' di formaggio" will allow you to consider a dessert on the menu. 18/08/2024: I only tasted the ice cream and we're not there. Nothing to do with the good taste of many ice cream shops in the area. The cone is of the crumbly waffle type, but the brioches were good.

15/08/2024: The place to be in Caccamo! Great food (I wish they offered dinner) and great desserts! Perfect location and lovely seating outside. I am grateful for the few wonderful employees that speak some English.

26/07/2024: We were DJs passing by and we stopped for a quick lunch, there was a different choice of ready-made dishes, pizza, and we also had the opportunity to order dishes that would be cooked on the spot. Being in a hurry we got something ready, rice salad with vegetables and a pizza bread that we were told was ham but was actually porchetta!

24/07/2024: Abbiamo mangiato diverse sere durante le nostre vacanze e sin dal primo istante abbiamo ricevuto l’accoglienza che ognuno desidera. Ristorante per tutte le tasche, farsi consigliare è stato un piacere e il pescato del giorno è un piacere del palato (….non lamentarsi ma il pesce fresco ha un costo!). Sempre con il sorriso e una soluzione ad ogni situazione, capitanati dalla simpatica proprietaria e dal leader indiscusso della terrazza: Stefano! Ancora grazie per il bel trattamento e le belle cene! Sogniamo di ritornarci! TOP 👍

23/07/2024: Siamo venuti in sicilia per il Buon cibo a costi contenuti ma abbiamo notato che si è un pó standardizzato a livello di prezzi ma non di qualità. Ieri siamo stati in questo ristorante che ha preparato dei primi buonissimi ma un antipasto per 34 euro con 4 cozze e due fette di salmone aaffumicato, insomma, una fame per 34 euro di antipasto. Un conto da 100 euro per due primi e un antipasto e una bottiglia di vino sulla media. Classico locale spenna turisti.

11/10/2023: Unreliable. I placed an order via Just Eat, I had guests for dinner. This pizzeria canceled the order at 7.10pm without giving any explanation, leaving me without dinner at the last minute. Luckily there are other more serious pizzerias.

02/09/2023: One of the best pizzas in Palermo. Soft dough, leavened to perfection and the ingredients are of the highest quality! Friendly and efficient waiters. The location offers the possibility of eating both inside and outside. 5 full stars!

09/08/2024: The cuisine is of the highest quality, the staff is very kind, the sunsets are stunning. For those who want to eat well and enjoy the sunset as it disappears into the blue sea, Prosit is absolutely the right place. Thanks Mimmo and Linda.
