29/04/2026: Nearing closing time, the barista greeted me with a smile and, at my request, prepared an excellent, piping hot espresso. The price was €1.40, a bit higher than average, but that's acceptable on Via Maqueda. All in all, a warm welcome and excellent coffee.
26/04/2026: I went to this café and they served me a cake that had already been eaten from. This was completely unacceptable and showed very poor hygiene standards. Extremely disappointing experience. I do not recommend this place.

06/01/2026: The pasta was delicious and made to order. The tiramisu and coffee liqueur were excellent.
The service from Siam and Riccardo was very friendly and welcoming... We'll be back!
03/01/2026: I ordered a plate of land and sea pasta with Deliveroo, needless to say a shame because reading the positive reviews I expected to eat a good dish, but unfortunately I have to say that the pasta had no flavor at all, lacked salt, and was very DRY... a shame.

02/05/2026: This place was great, given all the tourist traps around in the market. The owner is very nice, the food was fresh - we had gambero rosso crudo, grilled octopus, mussel pasta which were all really good at ok price.
The shrimp & pistacchio pasta was not so good and the shrimps could barely be seen & were tiny

Atmosphere true to the neighborhood.
Unpleasant service: we interrupted the waitress when ordering, she forgot to bring drinks (but charged them on the bill), and repeatedly kicked our chair as she walked by.

6 euros por dos bañeras, gran relación calidad-precio. Puedes sentarte afuera y disfrutar de tu helado mientras la gente mira

I'd sell a small single-flavor cup for €2 at most (not €3).
Given the declared artisanal quality of the ice cream, there would definitely be a line outside.

11/04/2026: Excellent mini Japanese street food restaurant in the center of Palermo on Via Valerio Villareale. I recommend eating there. Since it's a small restaurant run primarily by one person, there are only a few tables, but my girlfriend and I always find a spot. Prices are reasonable. Excellent food. It's a type of food I don't think you'll find anywhere else in Palermo. Highly recommended.

26/04/2026: Excellent gelato in Palermo for over 50 years! They're the inventors of the famous "stuffed" flavors—coffee, hazelnut, etc.—as well as more recent and delicious flavors like Gelato 2. The place is small, but with outdoor seating, you can enjoy truly excellent Sicilian gelato all year round. The gluten-free versions are also delicious.
19/04/2026: Excellent Sicilian ice cream, well-made hot and cold. Prices are a bit higher than those of local competitors.

29/03/2026: Last night, March 28th, around 8:00 PM, I bought a tray of assorted mini desserts, none of them edible. The cannoli had a soft shell, the ricotta was tasteless, the ones with strawberries and cream were thrown away, and the cream puffs, both with ricotta and chocolate, were hard. I would have gone downstairs to take them back, but I was staying with friends and didn't want to ruin the evening. Luckily, we had Nutella and eggs at home, and I made crepes to go with them.
